Funny, people are almost ashamed to admit that they bought furniture at Ikea. Ikea furniture may be cheap, but it is intelligently conceived, practical, with a minimalist Scandinavian design. It’s really hard to find kitsch at Ikea, all Ikea products have a high standard of design, which is also a big contribution to the culture of taste of the average family.
It's SO true! I went around to several other furniture stores and Ikea's quality was substantially better.

Hope everything is bolted, anchored to the wall to avoid crushing head injuries, which happen with little children and Ikea items, especially used by many young families.
You are correct if the have a big playroom there is no need for big bedrooms especially if it’s just going to house their beds and clothes
