Nice video production, however the 2.2 ford Peugeot engine does not self bleed the pump in the fuel tank is not a lift pump, always manually bleed the fuel filter. and fuel return line , lots of videos on youtube doing this on freelander 2 services , I always buy genuine JLR filters for my evoque and freelander 2 costs a little more but includes the new copper crush washers and piece of mind regarding compatibility
I have actually posted a follow up video regarding the lack of lift pump. I should’ve primed the new filter but would’ve never expected a car without a lift pump because running out of fuel would cause the same avoidable issue. Thanks for the comment! 👍
Thanks bud. I usually buy Bosch parts but I see it gives the internal dimension as 29mm but all the other filters list it as 24mm, and in the vid it did look a bit loose no? Some filters I bought (MAGNETI MARELLI ) came with a thicker O ring and I daren't fit them as it made the plastic cover crazy tight so I returned them. Maybe I'll try Mahler next time as I think they make the LR ones :-)
I'll never understand why people fill the oil to halfway on the dipstick and say it's ok,,,If the manufacturer says it takes 5.9 litres then put in 5.9 litres ,,,
Adding the manufacturer capacity would cause it to be overfilled due to the amount of oil left in the engine that doesn’t drain out. Unless you’re leaving the engine to go cold with the car sat on level ground you’re not going to get an accurate dipstick reading, therefore anything above halfway is a good level all things considered to avoid potential overfilling.
Uwaga ❗ W wersji europejskiej można odkręcić śrubę między czarnym a zieloną wtyczką i cała blacha która przeszkadza odchodzi na bok ❗ łatwo i przyjemnie 3 minuty dłużej,❗filtr kabinowy
Why didn’t you just pump diesel through from the arrow marked on top of the filter. Before trying to start. It’s a bit misleading tbh so not very helpful thanks

Can you not pre-fill the filter, to avoid air locks? There is a 8 or 10mm nut on the top of the filter, I assume to enable pre-filling?
Hi nice video..does the range rover evoque dynamic 2.2 4sd 2014 diesel engine is the same oil filter that show on video or different.. thank you
It should be the same with it being the same engine.
Brilliant 👍

Perfect
I have put the filter upside down...is there a problem?
Yea if you put the filter upside down it turns the engine into a bomb...
Is it really necessary to replace the fuel filter? If so, how often it should be replaced?
It’s definitely necessary and service intervals for fuel filters tend to be around every 40k miles (off the top of my head)
@@IAMASPANNER thank you so much for responding! Despite the video being up for a long time
What sort of oil is everyone using
You need a low ash SAP oil, Fuchs do one, Fuchs TITAN GT1 PRO C-1 5W-30 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil | PRO C1 5w30 is what you need. 6 litres of it.

They stopped making the 2.2 around 2016, so it is the 2.0 ingenium engine after that
Hi what is the air cone thing you put in the fuel filler cap to push air through with compressor. Trying to find the part to buy to do the same
10mm you mean
Nice
