Man, I have a feeling that Castform would’ve ended your Ivysaur if it had gone for Flamethrower, which it had just used to take down Stantler, instead of Ice Beam.
That can happen a lot actually, and in many different games for example when you switch out on them and their attack fails, sometimes it seems to trap them in a loop as if the algorithm cannot come to a logical conclusion but that yeah, that was a major failure even for the AI
All these years I finally know what you get for winning I would always lose at the very end I was like 9 years old at the time and this shit was hard I think I made it to him once and the RNG was not on my side let me tell you that but thanks for completing my childhood

It's 2023… as a kid, I was only able to beat Tucker and Lucy! I am playing my game again. I got The Tactics symbol today! I still think the frontier is the hardest challenge in the game. As a kid the internet wasn't as advance as it is now so most of the frontier brains seem to all have the same rules clear their challenges four times and on the 5th time they will be ready. I am planning on trying to earn the Guts symbol for the first time ever.
Dusclops was really helpful to me back then. That pressure ability was a really pain to the frontier brains. Go level up your dusclops bro. A perfect sp def ev and def ev will do and a learnset of protect, curse, double team and toxic with a held item of leftovers. Youre welcome bro hahaha
It will still depend in you on how you gonna manage to predict their actions. Well goodluck bro. Another suggestion bro for your team, a smeargle with learnsets of Lock-on sheer cold, endure and spore with a held item of salac berry :)
The only Frontier Brain I ever got to was Lucy, and she whipped me. I lost my GBA and the game somewhere along the line, and I haven’t played ever since.

Much as people like to think these types of modes are the hardest in Gen V...no...they need to go back and be made humble before they rage quit
