First "This Week in Spaceflight" of 2024. Always look forward to Fridays and learning about ALL space related events. Thank you Elysia, Alex, Julia, Max, Jerry, SBL, SCL, Ryan C., KMR.
Happy New Year Elysia! Thank you for this week's spaceflight news. I really enjoyed the recap and getting excited for this year and all the launches to come. Thank you, Kevin, Alex, Julia, Max, Jerry and Ryan. 😀
Happy New Year all y'all! Great coverage and analysis as always from Elysia and the @NSF team. Thanks so much for all you guys do! 2024 should be a BIG year in space! 2023 didn't disappoint, that's for sure!
The India graphic was an editing error and I'm not sure about the crane not lowered, multiple prior static fire tests were performed with the crane up. It goes down for launches
I think you made a mistake when showing the launch trajectory of the PSLV-DL caring XPoSat. The orbit inclination might also be wrong if I remember correctly.
Woops. Wrong location! Should have been from India and to the south. Inclination is right, XPoSat went into a 638x653km 97.6º orbit. POEM-3 later moved into a 343x353km 91.5º orbit.
@@ale131296 I researched it a bit and in Wikipedia it is written that the inclination is 6°. I think it was confused with the orbital period that is 97,61 minutes.
Elysia, you are a great presenter. No offense to the other guy, Ryan Caton, but I can't even watch those because of his style and speech. Nails on a chalkboard. Anyway, keep up the great work!!!
I do wish you would listen to my simple request not to play music whist someone is talking, it is sad that the best channel on youtube constantly does this so much so that i am now sadly not going to watch. Please Please think of your neorodivergant fans this was discussed during a recent live chat and it semed i wasnt the only person who it bothered.
I've really tried to enjoy Elysia presenting TWISF but I can't get past her on screen demeanour which to me feels too syrupy, patronising to the point where I can't watch her anymore. Sorry. Perhaps a different presenter might be worth a shot.
👀Love that Million dollar Smile Elysia 😁! Yet another Great job Team NSF 🤓!!!

YESSSSS
yes, stats!!
Yes, on the stats. Every month is fine.
I'm I the only one who had a big red circle over Elysia's face in the outro? Nice coverage as always.
9:35 Where from did India launch the satellite ? 14:30 It was also the first time LR 11000 was not lowered!
The India graphic was an editing error and I'm not sure about the crane not lowered, multiple prior static fire tests were performed with the crane up. It goes down for launches
Very busy update! 2024 updates may require 30 minutes lol
👀👀

9:30 I didnt know Satish Dhawan was in northern Russia! XD
Woops, editing error. We'll give Ryan a free trip to India next time hehe
Sorry. Missed that in the review. It's the first week back after all ;)
Interesting, India is now launching from Russia (at least according to your map at 9:33)!
Graphic error, wasn't caught during review
kinda forgot about the old oil-rig platforms spacex bought some time ago - what was the latest news on them, anybody aware?
They were sold in early 2022
@@ale131296 thanks!
Are you kidding us, of course we geeks love stats. The more often the mo betta.
Great but loses not looses 🤔
Those earrings look heavy!
Loose vs Lose???
Typo
The NASA worm logo Needed a Drink.
👀🤳💪👍
Next time, move the NSF logo off of Elysia's face at the end credits, please. Thank you.
She's just acting as Mike Wazowski
don't think i've not noticed your earrings.
Those look like some heavy earrings
Elysia, you are a great presenter. No offense to the other guy, Ryan Caton, but I can't even watch those because of his style and speech. Nails on a chalkboard. Anyway, keep up the great work!!!
Typo in first second of video. *Loses

Completely disagree. Elysia is by far one of the best presenters around. Keep up the great work Elysia!
