Helping Women Get Elected with Public Funding for Elections

Fix Democracy First’s Executive Director, Cindy Black, addressed the Women’s Power Collaborative on the transformative potential of publicly funded elections for women candidates. Her presentation delved into various public funding models, their benefits, and the unique history of Seattle’s voucher program. Black also shared state-by-state data on election funding and provided resources to help advocates advance the conversation in their communities.
