Remember as a kid, probably 1968 or so, going on a school excursion there. There were 2 other schools visiting there and we all could take a bottle of whatever you wanted to take along with you. It was very interesting and also sad now to see it no longer a productive site.

if i remember correctly you could watch part of the production line thro those front windows ? -- bottles moving along on conveyor-belts etc.

Coke cola is not made in Adelaide any longer .They have a coke warehouse at Salisbury south at the old Bridgestone plant . The filler used to be in the window to the right hand side .That was the big spinning thing you used to be able to see in the window .
Not a very positive company to work for apparently . not like they used to be .About 3 years ago they dropped every ones wages and moved a heap of people on they said take the drop or leave .I don't know why i was told by ore than one of the full time worker that actually still work there so there story goes story i was actually told by a supervisor that works there coke don't like paying very much ..They are now part of a company called EURO PARTNERS . there is more to the stories but it doesn't really matter it is what it is .

It was empty at the time and has since been remodeled into many smaller offices
