The school uniforms thing always bothered me cause the implication is they showed up to their first day at Hopes Peak in their old school uniform and it's like what?? Why?
i always thought it was for the same reason as to way everyone in my hero academia showed up in their old school uniforms during the entrance exam. Like, obviously hopes peak doesn't have a entrance exam, but same idea.
If there was one thing that Ultra Despair Girls did right it was Toko’s character development, that game changed me from hating Toko to completely stanning her. Through all the bad and not aged well parts of the game I have to say this aspect of her character was handled really well which is a blessing.
I think you're missing the point of the character design from a Japanese perspective lol "the school uniform doesn't relate to her" it does, its shorthand for the type of girl she is in Japanese media, and this type of girl is pictured wearing a school uniform because she is too nerdy to care about fashion, she just wears what is given to her by the school, with the longest skirt possible to be as much of a wallflower as possible. For Touko to be wearing a flashy red cutoff shirt its completely and entirely a different character.
we're a system ourself (osdd-1b diagnosed) and good god toko and genocide jill had potential. we couldve had an arc where toko and jill learn to communicate properly and have cohesive switches instead of it just being sneezing equating to a switch, and make the sneezing a point that the body of toko and jill have a weak immune system which makes them susceptible to illness, but no, danganronpa went the evil alter route :T that being said your redesign is amazing! love toko's droopy eyes and how they contrast nicely to aoi's upturned, cheery eyes :] - 🪴(crowley, he/she/they/mew)
You have no clue how long it’s taken me to find a even one Danganropa artist. Thank you. Also could you maybe do Kokichi, Shuichi or Nagito next? I feel like their designs are really cool, but could definitely be improved
I completely object to removing Genocide Jack. She’s her own character with her own personality and opinions and actions and name. She should be treated with respect as an individual, regardless of her past. And I don’t like making Toko have any responsibility of the murders. She should’t, it’s all Jack’s doing.

Honestly ur designs r so cuttee and I swear ur so right with the uniforms like what?? I can imagine that the characters would arrive to the school in casual clothes bc they didn't get their uniform yet and it was only the first day so they had to get used to the environment first, and ngl u r so true with the horrible writing on villianizing DID cus like wthhh she could be having an addiction to violence for example where it only gets triggered to ppl who disrespect her (is this an excuse to make toko hate byakuya instead, yes, yes it is) and I honestly would've been so intrigued if toko was a hikikomori (perhaps bc of a violent incident in school that lead her to getting even more bullied) for a few years until she got accepted to the academy bc she won a national writing contest (the isolation would also add to her lack of hygiene), which could explain her lack of social understanding and alienation in society bc of how she has no social skills and bc of how attached she is to writing bc that was her only coping mechanism and escape from reality, leading her to be often casted aside or deemed suspicious by the rest of the cast, showing how her isolation and lack of professional help lead her to becoming more violent and even murderous, like cmonnn Danganronpa there could've been sm potential whyyy (つд⊂)ｴｰﾝ
I think you did a great job with Aoi but I like Toko's ogs design more because I love their school uniforms and I think that it makes a Danganronpa character special since no uniforms are the same. Of course there are the pick me's that wear a casual outfit lol

I have a little suggestion for your next video and it's about Danganronpa this is optional, but can you do a redesign of Sakura ogami, nekomaru nidia, or Gonta Gokuhara them three are my favorites either one of them is fine or all of them if you like to. Hope you like my suggestion and I love your videos ❤.

How is Toko's character not tied to academics exactly? Her whole talent is about literature, which is a major subject in most schools.
