    it was a demonstration of the guitar who cares what he plays. and if you liked his music you wouldn't be complaining anyway i have heard his music a thousand times and still listen to it in my car almost everyday and i still listen to his older music.

    It's no problem with playing Metal on a Telecaster. Especially for low tunings you need good high end, loads of mids and not much gain. All which a Telecaster does very well, but somehow everyone thinks you can't play anything but Blues and Rock on a Tele :D Granted, the usual Tele doesn't look very metal-y, and only 21 frets are not the best for shredding, but still. A standard Tele can sound very brutal.

  • @MFKitten
    @MFKitten 11 лет назад

    I can answer that. First off, you need to start with a straight neck, and then you adjust the bridge saddles as low as you can get them without too much buzz. Then you figure out where the buzz is happening, and adjust either the saddles or the truss rod to compensate. You'll also probably need to have leveled frets, so you don't get high frets causing all sorts of dumb buzz. That's for optimally low action.

    Yea, if I'm not mistaken it is either Samick or Cort that owns and has most Korean made guitars built there. That also means they're probably pretty good because the PRS SE series is actually close to if not professional grade guitars

    I want it even more now :( Also, this is the Rob Chapman signature ML-3, the actual ML-3 will be voted on sometime after they have finished the ML-7

    You can simply do the same with all the Diavlo amps as well. Loop return brings your signal back up to push the power amp section to full output via the master volume

    I don't really think it is fair to let you test gear. You can make a broomstick sound like the awesomenest metal guitar.... (not calling the ml3 a broomstick)

    Where in my comment did I say, that .12 and .13 were the only string gauges with wound G strings or that there weren't more gauge combinations, that use a wound G?
    I just assumed stuff (as you surely have read). Ola might even use something totally custom.

    ErnieBall makes .10/.50 with a wound G string and if you buy a .09 7string set you get a .11 set with a wound G for your six string. There is a lot more out there than you might think ;)

  • @ThorsShadow
    @ThorsShadow 11 лет назад

    I'd assume he either uses 12-gauge or even 13-gauge strings. It's quite usual, that the G string is wounded at these gauges.
    If you ask yourself, why he uses such thick strings:
    I'd - again - assume he uses a tunging like Standard C or Standard B (4 respectively 5 semi-tones lower than Standard E).

    • @OlaEnglund
