What’s crazy is that yeah you never realize how short Sonic really is until you see this mod in action, Sonic is literally 3’3 (with Classic Sonic being 2’4 and Classic Tails being 1’10 which is crazy, literally elf numbers) and everything around you being so huge and scaled to Sonic’s eye level so perfectly is really cool seeing as these games weren’t at all designed for 1st person but work so well with it. All they’d need is a free camera/or VR and some better level design and 1st person Sonic would work pretty flawlessly.

It’s crazy how the devs for every Modern Sonic game have to take what I can only imagine is hours of time just to design large spaces you’ll blitz through in seconds lmao, which is why some parts of Sonic Generations’ Green Hill look pretty when you’re moving but don’t really make sense when you’re completely still and look around. That being said, a lot of other Sonic environments look amazing even when you look around, all the city states are perfect in 1st person

And seeing this i'm willing to bet Sonic probably has an ability to alter is visual perception speed, as in when he's taking it slow, like standing around or walking, Sonic's visual perception speed would be akin to a human. But when Sonic needs to go fast, he's probably able to increase his visual perception speed, allowing him to essentially see the world in slow motion

6:19 actually, no you don't. The saws are actually specifically targetted onto you, not random. When you hear the cue, you can step out of the way.
