change it to 1440 then do the winexplorer thing, MAXIMIZE AND UNCHECK WS BORDER, make sure there’s black bars, then change your monitor res to 1920 in control panel then click fill then confirm, then change back to 1440 and good.
If it does change back to black bars, repeat the changing res thingy
if people actually watched the video they wouldn’t have this problem because i go over it bruh

it works dude ty, if in ur settings keep doing custom just dont apply and do the things in video. reminder u have to use native resolution.

the issue most people seem to be having is whenever we try to set windowed as our native res; it keeps defaulting to custom. You can switch back to fullscreen and back to windowed but it still goes to custom

Guys it starts of as a chore in the beginning but it does become part of your muscle memory after eventually you get used to it hence why it takes me less then 30 seconds to do the process

For me i play on a 2560x1440 and it does get stretched, but i still have massive black bars and seem to not be able to get rid of them. Does anyone have a solution?
change ur res some monitors dont work with multiple res, for me i tried 1280x960 and it didnt work i switched to 1440x1080 and that worked

Do you know why every time i start a game the stretch disappear? it used to work fine until recently. is it because my game cant go in window mode? like whenever i select windowed mode it stays in full screen and does go in a window.
you have to repeat the process every game, that’s why i said in the video to do this all in the first round otherwise it won’t keep working. it just becomes muscle memory and takes like 30 seconds
great video but, sometimes when I check/uncheck the boxes in winexp, it doesn't respond to my clicks, how do I fix this?

It just changes to letterbox once I’ve done full screen fill- then windowed fill and it goes to letterbox by itself

Whenever I change my res, my monitor goes black, but then it returns to 1920x1080, is there a way to fix this?
Maybe if the amount of hz of the resolution u chose is higher than your monitor can handle.. either that or its the res that it can't handle

Ok i found my own fix from this, i tested mine many times, i always get custom if i use my own resolution so my fix is= "(picked other resolution that i can use fill in Windowed option)" then open vibranceCUI uncheck valo reso with my streched ready and winEx ready then proceed like the vid in this vid has done. Then. It worked ❤ i have acer monitor it sucks the native +windowed+fill always go to into custom after so have to get arround it.

by me when i try to do windowed max res and then aspect ratio to fill it instanly switches to letterbox

ok I think I got it so, u have to right-click on winex and try running as admin then it should work that you can uncheck those boxes, I hope that I helped, let me know if i did

I’m playing on a 2560x1400 monitor trying to set up a 1280x1024 and when I do get it to true stretched it works but never goes full screen, just turns into a box that’s stuck in the top left of my screen
how do i make the taskbar go away bc when i do that and flick down the taskbar goes up and tabs me out and also how i open win explorer it doesnt open for me at all it gives me a warning sign

Yo i got a Problem when i do Windowd and Fill and Apply it changes back to letter box

when i do all the steps im stuck with the white border in the top, but when i go to change the style, winex doesnt work and when i click it nothing happens
you have to make sure you clicked on valorant and then go to style and maximized. if you don’t it’ll stretch ur screen yes but the white bar is still there

@@yvngxtrefirst go to Nvidia and do ur nativ res then go ti Valorant pick 1920x1080 and fill and then apply then there should be costum but just ignore that then you go to Nvidia again do your res go to Winexp valorant style WS_BORDER uncheck it then go to size and position and maximize it then you should have it
