I'm not even going to pretend that i didn't come here for BTS
M〉A〉k 😂 *whispers* I am an ARMY too~
I was just gonna listen to cypher pt.2 again..... After this video i was like ok back to crazy fast rapping.
There are several components to speaking Korean easily . One place I found which successfully combines these is the Napars language learn (google it if you're interested) definately the best remedy that I have ever seen. Check out all the great info .
I too came here for bts
same I only watch this to know what they are saying 😂
I need to be fluent in Korean so that I can sing Kpop songs and be able to have conversations with Koreans. Who knows, maybe someday I'll either visit or live in South Korea.

I struggled abit with the grammatical word order with the "ignoring the subject" deal, but I came up with a way that made it easier, imagine any sentence you want to assert to be in passive voice in it's meaning, if you practise a form of english using all passive voice sentences with unknown subjects (no "by the subject" compliment), you can feel the atmosphere of how korean sentences work..you're welcome.
I really like this video!! It helped piece together what I've been practicing!
that was really helpfull i just watched the whole video. the explanations very easy to understand. i like this
Thank you so much for this video. It's brilliant!
I absolutely love the way his says " language" so cute
thank you for this! i really prefer technical terms and structures in learning something. this is very helpful.
I from Alaska and I am preparing to teach English in Korea. This video was very helpful, thank you!
tysm xx very helpful
My dream is actually to become a K-Pop star, because I like singing and dancing. I'm super young, so I need a lot of time to practice. I want to become fluent so I can move out of my parents' house by the time I'm 19 and try out. I don't want to be solo, though. And I know the life is hard, so when I first got the inspiration to do it, I went crazy on the "Why You Should Not Be A K-Pop Star" articles and lots of self-doubt. But I figured out that I want to do this. I wish I had someone to study with.
Just look at all of the KPOP stars that came from small beginnings (some even being foreigners) and are now globally known (cough cough BTS cough cough EXO). Just stick to it, work hard and never give up! Every KPOP star I am sure had the same doubts that you are having right now, but they stuck to it and are now successful because they stayed focused. I cant wait to see you on stage WHEN you achieve your dream! If you are an ARMY then: There is Hope in a Jamless Suga Kookie!
Akasha Ve'Queen you can do it! But you should try out before age 19 so they can train you more. I believe in you!
Akasha Ve'Queen Good luck, though!
I wish you all the best . Work hard nothing is impossible!!!!
Akasha Ve'Queen good luck do ur best
I have watched till the (lesson 3 korean grammar) if you know how to speak Hindi (Indian Language) it's even more simple for you understand this concept - there is Hangul type word to use with our consonants , there are (Nasal, Plain, Aspirated, tense words) & even the concept of sentence forming (we use S+O+V) I'm so happy learning korean now 😭❤️
Sometimes, when writing personally, like to shorten ㅁ to 冂 (lose the bottom line) because no other character looks that way, so you could still know what it is.
After Japanese, this is much easier for your ears to grasp, but they have other aspects like vowel harmony (also very into A Korean Odyssey on Netflix for a while, I heard a mountain of korean by now)
Thank I learn a lot ❤️❤️
I am discovering so many similarities between Korean and my own language when it comes to constructing sentences. This is gonna help a tonne as I learn.
What is your own language? Just curious XD
I've been studying Japanese for years. I just decided to learn Korean for the new year. I love different languages and cultures. Plus I'd like to not have subtitles on Kdramas and Kpop in the future.
Very helpful, Gomawoyo
for me, it's true that Korean is easy to learn ,to be honest i learned korean lettera and a few words only for i think 2 to 7 days 😂...while i can't even master a single chinese word😂
Jenelyn Camerino same although i like how chinese sounds i find it so hard to learn korean is more good for beginners like me once i understand korean i am going to attempt japanes and chinese
I tried Chinese (Mandarin) and I find this much easier, maybe it's just better explained? IDK but I never was able to master Chinese. I know 4 languages though!
@@mjacobs2132 4 LANGUAGES?? HOW?? tell me how you know that much, please!
and also, what languages do you know?
KANJI is actually one of the most or should i say the most difficult writing system to master so yeah!!!😂😊
I actually found this easy as i also speak punjabi and that is also to do with sounds and uses the SOV structure so i didnt struggle much so far!
Yeah...Amharic is kinda the same....lucky us!!
This is actually helpful, Every word is easy to understand, but I don't know how to pronounce it, probably because of the Language.
it is mix of formal and informal
I’m here because I heard Korean is one of the easiest languages to learn lol.
Wow, the grammar structure is so easy.....damn..my native language(Amharic) more or less uses the same structure....cool!!!
I was born mute and learned English from watching cartoons and watching K-Dramas will be easy for me

Any recommendations for shows to watch to help learn Korean?
I started learning korea only bcoz of BTS ,well I am a big fan of them but now I am really interested. I know five languages now I gotta say korea is the best language I've ever seen.
I speak 4 languages and this will be my 5th one. I speak English, French, Spanish and Italian. What languages do you speak and how old are you? The age thing is bc I want to see to compare bc ye... IDK
Hii I am 18 and I am an Indian so that most of the languages that I speak are Indian languages and they are Hindi, Malayalam, English, Tamil and Telugu. I am really interested in learning languages. Now I am trying to learn Korea. You speak French??? I wanna learn French too. Is French hard to learn??? what is your real language???
It’s been awhile how has your journey been??
Are you sure that’s how you say nice to meet you because these are the ways I’ve seen: 만나서 반갑습니다 and 만나서 반가워요. That’s weird because now i don’t know what phrase is right
good work!
hello how are you? thats so nice video i like it
Arigato😭
*learns that learning a new language extends lifespan*
*exits*
I'm still confused.
learn hangul first. then learn simple words. then you'll understand more.
Im not here because of Kpop, yes, true, but i like PSY. XDD
Korean ancient culture is 1000 times more worth than the new. ( History, religions, customs full of respect, ancient music, handicrafts, rituals, clothes, calligraphy, games, ancient books about health ( Dongui Bogam), about politics, power, etc.)
Korean IS difficult, if you are not an Asian.
Even for a Hungarian is it difficult, which language is also hard and full with affixes like Korean.
But its completely worth to study this language, i had no intention to learn another beside the followings ( Hungarian, German (both mother tongue), English, Latin, bit Hindi), but i threw everything else away for this language when it "approached me" in historical sageuk dramas!!!!
The culture what is living in Korea is fantastic.
I cannot stop studying even if i sometimes fail at the language exams. LOL
Fighting! XDDD

Korean ISNT always difficult if you're not Asian!!
I'm learning Japanese and it's been easy (although I was born in Japan and learning some)
But Korean has also been kinda easy for me though, but one things for sure...
KOREAN IS EASIER TO LEARN (for me anyway)
🎀💕🎀
My name is also Alisha😁
I had seen SHE WAS PRETTY, a Kdrama, last year and I liked the sound of YES. 😂
I thought to myself,
"It would be cool if I learned Korean"
But I didn't pursue it.
I chose mandarin after my third or fourth Chinese drama because I grew tired of reading the English subtitles in English, in 56-66 episodes on each drama I had watched.
I just wanted to listen and enjoy the freaking show, not multitask.
As for Korean, I figured I would familiarize myself with HANGUL and take the ten days to learn foolish route.
I didn't take it seriously until I accomplished ANYONGHASAEYO AFTER three whole days of practice.
Hahaha😂 Next thing I knew. I was conjugating verbs and reviewing material to prepare for the TOPIK exam.
This language is beautiful to me too.
I wanted to go overseas for an language immersion program but RONA has everyone on edge
😬😩
RUclips it is
Anyong hassyeo Priyanka ya Bangawo
My next language I will learn is French :3
Cant wait to learn korean. Literally when i just spoke the "i saw a movie" sentence in korean, i screamed like ahhhh im speaking for the first time lol

Okay so I have a question, that hopefully someone can help me with! Here, they teach that "Thank you" would be "Go-ma-wo-you". I downloaded an app and that app teaches "Thank you" to be "Gomabseubnida". Which is correct? What's the difference? Is this an accurate course to use, for learning Korean? Thanks in advance!
Noelle Nayon Thanks! :)
Noelle Nayon you got it right:) I would add that the first one is informal and used between friends, social equals, people u know well and are close with The second one is highly formal and respectful used with elders and/or people of higher social positions. Korea is a highly hierarchical society and the language heavily reflects this.
Did you download duolingo or something?
Hope Always 고마워 😊 its gomawo
Btw both are correct but the gomabseubnida is a formal thank you while gomawo is casual like thanks!
Hey I Am from India and I really want to speak corean
Hey anyone who reads this comment. Would taking a Korean Studies course at university be good?
Bangap soom nida means ??
My curiosity mind want to know to Alisa how many language you have learned 🤔

HOLY SHIT HE MENTIONED BIGBANG HOLY SHIT IM SHOOK HES THE BEST HE KNOOOOOWS ME
FINALLY I will understand EXO😌
Why is “Nice to meet you” written with “요” and without? 5:20 & 18:24
'Yo' is a polite sentence-ending particle. You can add it to many phrases to make them more formal. 'Bangawoyo' is a more formal version of 'Bangawo'.
Well then...me and my daughter are going to Korea😂
On the list for the Korean Alphabet, where you compare it next to the English Alphabet, you forgot the vowels " ㅘ ㅙ ㅚ". You repeated the vowels "ㅝ ㅞ ㅟ".
You just forgot BTS. They're famous too. ♡♡
that's exactly what i was thinking!💜
they are dumbasses for forgetting bts

why all of you .. learn korean for bts... there are many people learnng this .... for work in korea...
Please avoid hanja (Chinese characters) because this make s korean very easy for learners. 👍👍
Is good speak more slow...cause have some peoples that dont know much english.
Boi where is 방탄소년단
this is a learning korean video, not bts
not just exo and bigbang
I can understand bts too
why is it written in romanji "go ma wo yo" but the "wo" is readed as "u-eo" ?
also why havent we seen the other hangul in hana hana hangul (wi, wae, etc....)
Hi RaschellXuan,
워 consists of a double vowel--which, on its own would sound like u +eo, but when combined, becomes the pronunciation 'wo'.
Hope this was of help.
Cheers,
Team KoreanClass101.com
EXO AND BIGBANG KINGS AND LEGENDS
Who's here because they love language learning and not for BTS And Kdramas?
EXO!
Is Korean harder than Japanese?
I must choose one but I don't know which😑😄
Kiah Hieb Thank you I'm learning Korean also!😄😊
안녕 ^^
• BlueSøul359 • 안녕!😊
Japanese pronounciation for me is easier and more straightforward. Korean tho doesn't have Kanji which is a HUGE point to make it easier. We have a tie when it comes to grammar, both are insanely hard, but that comes slowly.
In the long run pretty sure you can become decent in korean way faster than japanese.
@Kiah Hieb fuck yeah blackpink!!!!!!!! im listening to them rn lmao
Everyone here trying to learn cuz BTS while I’m just here like Yi Sun Shin definitely not cuz I’m quarter Korean and wanna talk with my Halmoni
I'm here bc I want to understand EXO without needing translators hehe
Way too slow paced, we don't need reasons to learn a new language when we've come to a video like this ourselves already.
I have to admit that is kind of true but some people came here and honestly may give up, this is to try to help them not give up and convince them to try harder to learn/ have a better reason to learn. You can just skip it though so it doesn't really matter.
i live and was born in u.a.e
and i wet to my own language school which they teached a little english
the surprising thing is that i learned urdu very well but not arabic at all
but this korean language Isssssss soooooo hard for meeeeee
my brain capasity is limited
i can not add another languge from level 0 (lol)
ive been watching k dramas and variety shows about 3 /4 years
every time i want to try to learn korean my brain: !@!@#$#$%%---------------SHUTDOWN.
then restarts again and i just give up and go back to watch my k-shows with Eng sub :D
So much time wasted just by listening to why we need to learn a new language and why korean in particular. We are here because we already want to learn a new language, AND we want to learn korean in particular. These two go on and on and on about why we need to learn a new language. We are already interested , DUH!
Husnu666 its for their introduction. Its like writing an essay. You should have introduction before the body. You cannot just jump to the body without an introduction. Just statin'
I'm here for EXO
I came here for bts😩💙
I understand how to read Hanguk but not many words. 😂 I'm a sad excuse for a random learner who knows a random alphabet
Why it’s so hard!!!???
I ended up here for ...personal reasons associated with a particular industry related to drawing. Idk what a BTS is that I keep seeing in the comments and I'm too afraid to ask.

i didnt like ppl always says learn korean for k pop reaons that sucks
i hate k pop
k pop sucks
i just like asian languages and i hope to find something more interesting than dramas and k pop to keep me studying the language
안두냇수ファビオ just ignore kpop and think of the social aspect and the culture of korea and the fact that its not as hard as chinese and japanes so you can grasp it easier
Yes omg. I hate when people learn Japanese just for anime
안두냇수ファビオ But it is so much easier to learn new language through music and TV shows.
yes but some people find it more easy that way. I found that when I was learning Spanish (I was about 4) it was very helpful for me to watch TV in Spanish since i didn't really care about learning the language, I wanted t watch TV. That's why my mother only let me watch it in Spanish. Now i'm 13 and learning my 5th language. :D
안두냇수ファビオ I just learn to read Korean webcomics that don't have English translations
