They probably recorded the PA so mixing wise it was good in reading but here it might be muddier and shit but live as I understood it sounded perfect.

What's so sad is the fact that this is the reason alot of bands don't want live broadcasts to be made public: a festival sound needs to be mixed afterwards for anyone who isn't at the actual festival.
The best "festival" live video I've seen so far is Chelsea Grin - Hostage. Sure there's a backing track running and it has some FX added in post, but that's how it feels live.

actually go to the show if you want amazing sound, good sound mixing is hit or miss for videos. just be happy that they give people who don't get to go a way to watch parts of the shows.

ADTR always put on such an amazing show and this was one of their best in my opinion. I cannot believe the full set isn't up. Me and my girlfriend we're right in the front getting involved and I really wanted to watch it back to re live this set!

This mix is awful, but I don’t get why everyone thinks Jeremy is out of time? I don’t hear it? He’s holding and extenuating some notes at the end of lines, yeah, but he’s not actually off tempo or out of time.
Even though I still got chills watching this I would love to see them in a small venue. Just started listening to them and it seems the feeling and energy to this song would be insane.

Why does it sound like shit here, it sounded so good at reading
Because the mix is adjusted for a festival. Any good live set for youtube requires you to mix it completely different to the PA sound. That means you'd need to record every channel and give it a nice post treatment.

jeremy sounds pretty good and is hitting every note. it's been a long lay off and they need to get back into the grove and i think he was conserving his energy bc he knew it was a longer set. and they look like their having a lot of fun so does that crowd omg is it massive. does your band play in front of that many people as well?

Marc Herzig how?.. this is pretty solid especially compared to the last time they were at reading and the BBC recorded their entire set. That recording sounded muddy as hell. This time you can quite clearly here what each of the instruments are doing and Jeremy sounds pretty great too?

I was there and it was amazing ngl. The mix sounded so good when listening in the crowd (compared to other bands at leas)
I was also there and thought it sounded pretty bad unfortunately, it's a shame cause i was really looking forward to their set
I was there and thought it sounded great. Their FOH engineer did a great job. The broadcast stream is a separate engineer mixing it. Obviously a quick mix then get it up online. But yeah the broadcast doesn't sound as good as seeing them live.

This is main stage at one of the biggest festivals in the UK bro, unfortunately, most people there won't know ADTR. Come see them play on their tour and you'll take back that comment. UK has some of the greatest crowds

jeremy's always into it. it's all the mix's doing. he also always sings this song this way for some reason, don't know why. if you listen to the studio version the way the refrain and chorus is sung is much better.

A song thats always been in there sets, what about Better Off This Way, Paranoia, or Degenerates? Yes these songs were in this set that they took down along with a few others and they gave us this shit instead. Not hating on All I Want, it’s a great song but there’s already a few live sets of it available on RUclips. Honestly y’all could have at least given us Better Off This Way, Degenerates, or Paranoia instead of this one.
