Just the fact that your doing almost all of this one handed is amazing in itself.
I agree with that, good job pretty lady.
I have never driven a truck or tarped a load but watching you do such an outstanding job at both makes my day. You are a hardworking young lady and I admire what you do, and how you do it. Love to Benji and Zeke!
Becca, You did a Great Job on your Tutorial......You could show us how to Fuel the Truck or even show us Your Pre-Trip Inspection, You make Everything Very Informative and Interesting. God Bless You and tell Zeke and Bengi Vic said Hello !!!!!!!!!!
Yes Pre-trip Inspection and decision
Good job 🎉❤
Good job 👍
Until now, I didn't think I could admire and appreciate all you do getting ready for the road. Absolutely, I do now! What a great tutorial for anyone learning to tarp. Flat bed trucking is so much more than getting loaded and driving off.
Dig the trucking content! I drove for 15 years, miss it!
What do you do now? 🤔
And thank you!
You’re doing a great job. I’m hoping you inspire others to want to get into trucking. Your content is the reality of what trucking is today. Always keeping it real!! Thanks for sharing!!
As someone who has never actually had to tarp a load, this was actually super informative. All our pipe gets tarped in the yard by our yard crew before it leaves, so shout out to those guys for spoiling us drivers. Thanks for doing this Becca! It was awesome. Safe travels!
Becca have you tried rolling your tarps width wise instead of length wise its much easier to unroll in windy condition less chance of flying away
Becca just watched your tarp video, great job informative, you need to get a check list before leaving on a trip not to forget your headband for your camera, watching you do the tarpaulin with one hand scared the crap out of me for your safety, especially when you nearly fell in between the pallets a few times
@trevorcooke8129 You're right on Trevor. That was very unsafe. Sorry Becca, but we worry about you. 15 years deck experience.
Becca, it's not OCD, it means you are paying attention to detail. Shows professionalism on your part. Well done!
Becca, no matter what you post it will brighten a day. Love watching. Best to you and the pups and thanks.
Becca you really work your butt off. To bad so many these days have no work ethic. You're an inspiration.
I've seen tarp jobs that were pure artwork. I've also seen pure trainwrecks for a tarp job. Keeping the air from getting under the tarp is key to keeping the tarp on and not shredding. Keep up the good work girly.
Some loads are easier to tarp than others. Some loads are just tarping nightmares. Most are not too bad.
Good job girl.
Now you're getting close to me again Branson Missouri
I live about 62 miles north of Branson. 10 Mi north of I-44 Hood's truck stop.
And when I first started tarping.
My cheap boss gave me rubber rope for tying down that was about a pain in the ass especially when they're not came off and hit you the damn mouth..
My trailer was a 42 ft utility with J Hooks outside frame 12 inches per side. It weighed less than 10,000 lb so I used to come out of Eureka with 52,000 legally.
Down to Southern Cal.
Back then I even use rope to tie down with. Bags and shingles.🤷🏽♂️. Be safe beautiful happy trails.💖💖🤘🏾🤟🏽🤙🏾👍🏽✌🏽😊😎🙋🏽♂️
Hood's is one of my favorite truck stops. Full service fuel at a good price with Mudflap, and the restaurant is pretty good.
You did a great job with the tutorial. Tarping is hard work and doing it right is even harder. Yours look good.
Steve.
I just love how your dogs are always so happy to be out trucking it up out here
That’s what I mean about you, lady Becca You complete in detail, so refreshing and clever
Thank you for taking the extra time to walk us through it. Safe travels!!!
Howdy Becca , as a long time flatbedder you did Great in showing the basics for someone who may not know , one bit of advice - And maybe you do this but were "" off sorts "" with trying to video this time , This tip is for those windy days when your laying out the tarps , get your bungee's out and unwrapped / loose so if the wind picks up you can grab one quick and get the 4 corner's hooked to hold before wind carries it Off and your rerolling it again and starting over , Just a Tip , Safe Travels 👍👍👍👍
Hey Becca. Thanks for the tarping video. I never realized how much work you put in putting them one. Stay safe. Your doing a great job.
hey brb it looked like you put your passcode out to the public.you are awesome keep doing what you do its inspiring
I remember my tarping days 😂 1 time I picked up a cement sack load on pallets in San Jose CA. My delivery was to S.F. bay area CA. I picked it up got loaded the sun was shining just so warm and beautiful. I called my boss and asked that can I just drive and deliver it to S.F. without tarping since it is blue sky no clouds in sight and being a short drive so he said, go ahead and drive and haul the load without tarping if it is a nice dry day. Ok, I went on my way and as soon as I drove over the Bay Bridge I could see some clouds in a area in the city and sure enough just as I got to the yard where my load was delivered so, while I was un strapping the load it started to rain, but not hard. Ok, so when the forklift driver came closer to the trailer he asked me that did you have it tarped I said no, he said I need to go and talk with my boss before I can unload the load since the top layers on the cement sacks may have gotten wet and then ok, no good. Ok, !ong story Short. My boss said that ok the customer don't want the load so drive back to our yard with the load and park the truck and come in to the office 😮 I came back to the yard I parked the truck with the cement load and when I entered the office, the boss said, pack your bags take everything out from your locker and come and see me. I got to his office and he said : You are fired 😂 and I said GOOD 😊 now, I don't need to tarp anymore in my life and that day was my best day ever in my life ❤ So, it was meant to be. It's so crazy to tarp these loads ok, I understand why but it sucks 😂😂😂😂😂😂 So much work, open to hurt your back as I did many times so no thank you. Looking at this, memories came back so I wanted to share my story here. Gosh, having to tarp loads just to much and not enough money. Having to tarp gosh, you really feel like a dog. So, I started to haul van trailers, no more tarping hallelujah ❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I see you are living your dream...from Toronto, ON, Canada...saw you on the highway. Nice to see you again. Staying tuned...God Bless!!!
Thanks for the tarping tutorial! I did flatbed for many years, gotta say, I don’t miss that one bit. If I ever went back to flatbed trucking, Conestoga baby😂
Another enjoyable Big Rig Becca video! I will never drive a truck or tarp a load but I enjoy seeing how things are done and appreciate your dedication to making these videos. Always a pleasure to watch and keep on keeping it real!
Best thing about social media is ppl get to ACTUALLY see what we TRUCKERS DEAL with DAILY!!!!!! Many ppl have no clue.
Used to work for a limestone company and after loading the trucks we had to tarp them as well. That is exactly how we did it. Excellent video and very helpful.
Hard work to be a step deck trucker. You got this for sure. Take care try stay safe and warm.
That was super kind to make a tarping video to show that guy how it’s done. 👍 Totally different level of confidence, skill and organization from the early vids.
Becca, you’re doing an awesome job! Your tutorials are tutorials of one who knows her shit and has done it! No one is a better teacher than experience! Keep rocking as your side flanking “Big Rig Becca” looks snazzy! Keep rocking Becca, you’re one in a million, so stop excusing where there’s no need to excuse! 🎉😊
I see 👀 😏 your Videos 📹 every chance I get at home 🏡 or on the road. They are awesome 👌
Always nice to discover new trucking channels. Especially a channel with a girl trucker. Cool
I run a flat bed for 10 years and I never had a tarp with the end flaps. Good job with that load.
Thanks for letting us see a part of your world. Be safe. Love your videos..
Becca I love your attitude and your work Etiquette. I really enjoy watching your channel
Thanks Becca, now I am looking to see who takes the time to tarp like you girl. The Big Rig Becca way. Keep on trucking girl, your the best.
Lady Becca just had to comment again because of the front overlapping your tarp you make it seem easy Peezy nifty thrifty yeah girl you rock❤
Another great video Becca and that was a beautiful job tarpping that load and you be safe out there on the roads thanks ❤
your a hard worker and a credit to your generation stay safe when your climbing around the that flat beb it looks like it be easy to loose your balance so stay safe lady
Very nice tutorial on tarping. If the wind is blowing hard use your chain binders as anchors hook them to eyelets on the tarp. then snug the tarp with bungees and remove the chain binders. BTW don't forget to wear safety glasses when handling those bungees. Thanks
I'm sure u know by know theres always a super trucker that comes along and swears to know more better! You got this flat bedding down and do good work. this was a great tutorial. you have an awesome personality and makes your channel fun to watch!😊❤
That was an excellent way of showing someone how to do a proper way to tarp. EXCELLENT.
Hey Becca thanks for the tarp tutorial it was very interesting. I never knew there was that much to securing a load. You did a great job explaining the process. Pretty damn cool. Thanks for the video and all your hard work.
New Mexico is beautiful and I got to go with Big Rig Becca! Excellent tutorial!
Nice job girl. Thanks you for taking time to give us information. God Bless
Them BRB tarps looking pretty snazzy. The whole tarp job looking pretty snazzy. Doing it right will usually not let you down. Safe travels BRB.
Thanks!
LARRRY! Omg is it my birthday today?! Lmao jk 😭 thank you Larry for all your support ❤️🫶🏼
Enjoy some iced coffee and Dunkin Donuts and a pup cup or two for the guys, (insert a heart, I don't know how lol)

Good job Becca we are proud of you what a trucker, I think your dog's are lucky to have you as owner you love them much. Keep up good work, you can tell you love what you do.
Un excelente video Becca 🎉. Be safe out there I am a driver my self. Remember have fun and keep the wheels turning, cause you ain’t earning, if the wheels ain’t turning😢
Becca, great job showing us and helping us understand just one aspect of the job that you do. Looks great like you have been doing it for years. Be safe and keep on trucking. 🙂
Thanks for taking the time to show folks how much thought & effort goes into tarping. I know it took time out of your day & wasn’t comfortable executing that with one hand. I bet some new drivers probably learned a great deal from this. You’re the best!
Nice job… enjoyed learning the process. Show us more of what you encounter.
Becca you are absolutely amazing love you your dogs i always look forward to seeing your beautiful face on your next video blessings from Martinsville Indiana ❤❤
Throwing your straps over the tarps provides better securement for palletized bags, and also keeps you from having to re-work bungees/tarp after they’ve been stretched by the wind. So, yes it limits the number of bungees needed to secure the tarp. Plus, a good bonus would be is to have a “smoke” tarp with flaps. Stay safe and keep doing an amazing job out there!!!👍
can you tell me what a "smoke" tarp is. just curious, is it those ones that look like a screen?
It is a regular piece of vinyl tarp. It’s used to protect front of load from the truck’s exhaust smoke(i.e. water pipe, insulation). I carried a 12 x 16 smoke tarp, with the rings and flaps. The other benefit was that it could be used in conjunction with the much larger tarp to finish covering portions that the larger tarp didn’t cover.
I thought it looked great Becca!! I bet it was hard to film and tarp. Your amazing ❤ safe trucking
Great video Becca. Nice tarp job and tutorial. Yup there is many ways to skin the cat and you showed us your way. After being in the trucking industry for 46 years I would be proud to drive that load the way you tarped it. You should do other tutorials to educate some of your viewers Lots enjoy watching you but don’t know how things are done and to be able to show them your way would be kind of neat. Thanks for posting Becca. Have a great and a safe day.. Happy trails to you.D
Keep up the great work Becca and stay safe. From Saskatchewan Canada.
A very nicely wrapped delivery...
Hell yeah! Love these long vids! Safe travels BRB
Haha awesome!! Thanks safe travels to you too! 🤘🏼❤️
Your tarp tutorial was very good. I’ve noticed on your other videos that the way you fold up your tarps is important for the next time you have to use them. Be safe out there.
Great tutorial on tarping,I never tarped a load because I only hauled farm tractors and wrecked vehicles on a Landoll Trailer.
Thank you for the tutorial and safe travels.
B.R.B. stay south as far as you can , this stinking cold/snowy weather is making a mess of things !!! 😮
( Midwest area , could be worse )
Stay safe , looking forward to the next video 😊
No, do more tutorials. I have suggestion for tarping on really windy days. After you first roll out tarp it's full length, put some straps across tarp in a few places. Leave them loose enough so you can still unfold tarrp, but tight enough so a strong gust won't blow the whole tarp off. I'm not a truck driver, but I do like solving problems. Lord bless, stay safe.
I bungee all 4 corners of tarp to keep wind from blowing off
we strap the load 1st then tarp over the straps
Awesome video Becca! Great tarping tutorial! Very informative, especially for someone that doesn't run flatbed.
Great job vecca 🎉 nice job vecca
We need more videos like this family who cares about heavy breathing health is wealth keep trucking young lady 💯✌️🙏💰👍
Thank you so much for your tarpon tutorial. Keep your head up stay safe and keep those big wheels moving. One love one piece one

Great you did a tarping video, all they had to do was watch your videos, very self explanatory. You are doing awesome out there, you should be so proud of yourself.
More tarp wise now, thank you. First time hearing about end flaps. Tarp job looks 😳 .
Thanks for creating this tutorial! I just bump docks but considering going to the dark side and drive flatbed .
It’s like wrapping a Christmas present. Lol God bless be safe out there. Cute dogs by the way.✌🏻
Well hello BRB, hows it going. Ive never have done flatbed, but ive got many yrs experience in driving different trucks 🚚.. Ive got experience in logging, dry van,reefer,containers,cement,beer/wine trailers. I think if i did flatbed, id ask for loads i didnt have to tarp and untarp, cus to me what most companies pay for that isnt worth the extra time and work. Id only want to do loads that strapped and chained. But u do good on tarping. If u ever decide to get out of flatbedding go into dryvan/reefer. I guess theres ups and downs in all of it. Hope to see u out there one day if we ever get our chance to get back into a truck
I love 💕 your videos I'm a big truck fan from South Africa 🇿🇦
Alright Becca😊 that was fascinating to watch, you have that tarping off to a fine art! Well done you!!! 👏👏👏🙌 🇬🇧💚🇺🇸
Love your videos Becca, your a good teacher
Another Great Video, Fantastic Job Stay Safe Out There Dear, Always Keep the Sunny Side Up. much Love, Love Benji, but MR. Zekee he is something else there both very Specials.
Becca u are so pretty i just love your personality u always make my day watching your vidoes i always look forward to your videos and seeing your fur babies drive safe we got lots of snow here in tennessee hugs to u
Awesome video, Becca. I *almost* went into flatbed and then decided not to. I commend you on how hard you work and how difficult that work can be. It's also quite dangerous, a lot of people don't realize that. Yeah, I wimped-out and went dry van, but I enjoyed it. I was regional LTL (line-haul) so I didn't have to do likely 1/15th the work you do. Just moved trailers from one terminal to another. Often had to go to Chicago rail yards to get my doubles trailers. Eventually I developed DVT blood clots in my right leg and had to hang it up.
Becca, you are awesome.i use to drive lumber trucks in the Colorado Rockies. I love watching and seeing how you are doing. Give your pups a hug from me. Lots of love and prayers from Boulder Colorado. Be safe.
You are incredibly at what you do. You put everything in your effort. Proud of you girl. ❤
Good to see someone take their time and do it right. By the way, you didn't miss anything on the load of stone they pulled you off the other weekend unless you were looking at running across and cutting down on US 70, rather than cutting down off I 40 on I 17 to Phoenix. Got snowed in between Moriarty and Albuquerque. Don't know why they pulled you off that load as you were pulling in the yard as I was leaving.
Great job on the tarting. Looks nice out there also. Have a safe one out there. If you see your Dad and Jona say hi for me and also grandma Linda to..
Wow that was awesome Becca. Just like i said im enjoying your videos when you make a new video. I think that first time I saw you putting a tarp on stuff you hauling. That was interest thing. Good job ❤ it.
Thank you for tutorial. I’m new to trucking and want to do flat bed soon.

I think you did a great tutorial on tarping. What happened to your dashboard display screen 🤔? It's good to see you back on the Tube. Stay safe, do you, and God bless you 🙏🏿.
That has always pissed me off to no end. Unload the truck and put the product right there next to my truck. Cut me loose and than you can stack the load. Time is money.
That's what I thought
