Excellent video 👍🏻 also the other quick way to check for a faulty unit is simply by unplugging the connectors of the individual unit then see if it still tripping or not
Great video... Just be careful how tight you tighten the nut back up. Measure how far the nut is on the thread before undoing it and then tighten to the same distance otherwise you could break the PLASTIC drum housing. This guy made it appear like you can apply lots of torque to that nut. It will seal without excessive tightening. Just do a run of the washing machine and look for any small leaks and tighten a little if needed after stopping the machine immediately after seeing and leaking. The plastic drum will crack very easily but if it does you can just apply an epoxy resin over the crack. The epoxy you would use in fish tanks.

Hiya, I have a bosch washer dryer and have recently changed the bearings on the carbon brush motor. It worked fine, but after about 80% of the wash cycle it started tripping the fuse box in the house. Now, no matter what I do now the machine trips the breakers as soon as I initiate any program. I performed tests on the motor with a multimeter and can't find any shorts or weird resistance readings in the windings or armature. I have the same power tripping problem with a 2 years old Bosh Vario-perfect. I measured the 3-phase motor with a Megger insulation tester and also the heating element after warming up in a bottle. Both are OK. Then I changed the two mains filter capacitors (10 nF and 22 nF) on the driver board who were connected to ground by 400 Volts types. No result. The machine is working well with ground disconnected, but this is unsafe. Floating voltage measured with an multimeter, between machine housing and mains real ground is 90 -140 Volts, dependent on orientation of the plug and is able to light up a small incandescent lamp. That was the primary reason I suspected the two capacitors because they are the sole ground connections on the board ground (=housing too) All other power supply components on the board are OK. Right, I can do a cold wash, a rinse and drain BUT if I want a warm to hot wash it trips the electric fuse board. All electrics in the kitchen go off AND the timer for all hot water and heating in the airing cupboard. ...so maybe time for a new machine? edit: BTW I am 76 and live on my own so I cannot even pull i out let alone get all those gadgets to test it.. lol (or not!)

How to fix error E14 problem EURO-WASH WASHING MACHIN Model XG70-7012AEW
Right, I can do a cold wash, a rinse and drain BUT if I want a warm to hot wash it trips the electric fuse board. All electrics in the kitchen go off AND the timer for all hot water and heating in the airing cupboard. ...so maybe time for a new machine?
edit: BTW I am 76 and live on my own so I cannot even pull i out let alone get all those gadgets to test it.. lol (or not!)
Hi does the machine still work if you disconnect the heater and tape the wires and connect the inlet to the hot water instead? (hotpoint wm63)
