While definitely not in his prime anymore, it is just amazing that this man is still performing at all. Especially as a heavy metal singer! The dude is 70 years old. Born 6 years after WW2 ended. Much respect!
Mad respect for sure. 70 is fucking awesome.
No shit they're not in their prime, most of them are in their 70s! Their "Prime" was the late 70s to the mid 90s. They're still fucking amazing 🤘😝🤘
I hope they live long enough to perform in corbin Kentucky
@@kevinjones2193 *THIS PERFORMANCE WAS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE* 👎🗑

Never surrender Glenn. Stay strong bro
I wish Glenn would be able to come out on stage on every show on this tour!
Idev done anything if he came out at my show lol
Halford is a trooper. End of an era heading our way.
Bless Glenn Tipton. He is truly the Defender of the Metal Faith🤘🏻
Truly ICONS of ROCK . . .
They were so damn good that night, loved being in the crowd.
Just like other band's from the 70s, Priest has gotten older but my god Halford and the rest of the guy's can still rock like nobody's business.
Heartbraking to see Glenn this physically weak. But still he rocks the crowd. All the best to you Glenn, never surrender to your desease!
Parkinson's is a terrible disease. It may sound macabre, but I didn't expect him to make it this far. He's a fighter.
This song was the highlight of my whole time at Bloodstock. Got there on the Tuesday. Loved it all. But I basically went to see Saxon and Judas Priest. In tears,at the sight of Glen. All true Metal God's.
Glenn Tipton god bless you!!!
i'm so glad i got to live and grow up with Judas Priest since i was 10 years old born in 1981
Long Live the Priest! 🔥
Brilliant saw them in 1981 ears are still ringing
I love seeing Glenn so much. He still looks amazing. So badass. Hearing all the Cheers for the legend warms my heart.
The mighty Priest, never surrender Glenn 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🎸🎸🎸🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I'm so glad i heard them early in their career. First time 1983 and second 1986. This makes me cry 😢
literally the best way to end a weekend of getting drunk and seeing some incredible bands 🤘🏻
Absolutely loved seeing the Black Country flag on Rob's jacket
we need a full concert!!
Glad I seen all these classic bands in the 80,s 🤘🤘
LONG LIVE THE PRIEST!!! 🤘🤘
Highlight of the entire weekend this set was. Well worth waiting on the barrier for 11 hours
Where and when is this ?
@@michaelmoore676 Bloodstock Open Air is held at Catton Park, near Walton On Trent, every year, and it usually falls on the second weekend in August
One hell of a performance
One Shot Of Glory, Pleaseeeeee
Judas Priest is the best band.
Saw them in Vegas fn awesome show!!I
Glenn i love you respect from cold Siberia>Novosibirsk
Holy Moly!
Hail the Priest!!!🤘
how sad to see Glen in this way.. truly legend!
I don't think Glenn really knew where he was, and most likely not even plugged in. As a die hard fan since 1974, it was a bit hard to watch.
@@kurtp8833 I agree, but even if he's aware on some level it's probably something that keeps him going. My .02
@@kurtp8833 He’s definitely plugged in. Hell, he plays a solo at 2:50
Love the symblism of the bull :) pride of birmingham!!!

Spectacular Show from the Mighty Judas Preist.
I didn't know Santa had a second job at Judas Priest!!!! Keep on Rockin!!

All hail Judas priest metal is my religion and Judas is my priest 🤘😈🤘
Metal Gooooooood.
Respect the PRIEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Judas priest fuckin rocks.
Robs voice sounds different here . I like it , different tone sounds good . At first I thought one of the other guys singing
Yes, Rob's voice does sound different here. It's called "sounds like it's time to stop touring."
Long live Glenn Tipton a true legend of Metal
6:10 - "We are... Judas Fucking PREIST !"
Right, Bloodstock?
These guys just keep going.
I'm in the 4th row April 2nd. Can't wait!!
Gracias por tu magnífico aporte a este mundo viva la buena música 🎶 :)
I need a full show!!!!!!
The sound levels on stage for this concert must be so much lower than they were in the eighties - you can hear Robs vocals even when the mic is 2 feet from his mouth. In the old days all you would have heard is the guitars. Perhaps the guitarists are all playing through isolated cabinets offstage but I’d imagine they would still like some stage level from the monitors for sustain and feedback.
Yeah my ears are still ringing from the metal shows of 81-88.
Maidens' Somewhere on Tour.
Priest - Defenders of Faith tour.

Just glad when I saw them when when they were a great band 🙈
I would love to step in on vocal help. Love from donnie the don ash. Long live J.P. and heavy-5:47 metal
Sempre gostei, ao lado do Saxon, duas bandas dos anos 70 que estao na ativa.

Amazing! Hello from Ukraine!🤘
Waiting for the Kyiv show!
Hello there!
@@amosamaralmarao7846 Thank you friend!
Loving the beard same colour as mine lol Robs voice still good as when he was 20
fuuuuck they still rule!!!
No...they really don't. From a fan since 1974.
Hearing some interesting changes in his voice and his pronunciation. Looking forward to more videos to observe his voice! It could be going worse or better in a weird way.
1:08 CIGARETTES AND TOBACCO It's great that there is a place in which metal girls (and boys) can buy cigarettes. Well done Bloodstock! 🚬
All three of these Bloodstock videos with Glenn…hardly feature Glenn at all. The editing keeps him out of the videos for the most part, other than a few longer-range shots. So what’s up with that? Has he gotten to the point where he can’t play at all and they don’t want to show that, or is it something else? 🤔. Regardless, we’ll always love you Glenn. You’ve delivered the goods.
He can't play live anymore, but he needs to fake it in order to garner sympathy and adulation. The saddest part is, he feels he needs to perform in order to do that.
The Priest PR agency seems to have employed a few inane commenters, but they're so over the top, it makes the whole thing sadder.
In late 2018 Tipton was already quickly deteriorating and they actually said he can't play on more than two songs. He made one appearance in 2019 when he seemed in pain. In 2020 Halford said he can't play anything anymore - but since his memory is failing, he has forgotten.
What Tipton "plays" here is what was recorded during one of his 2018 appearances - if one's got time on their hands, might find out which one.
Seems like it. He's clearly not playing
@@insightfloww It's crazy that they've got him appearing at nearly every show on the current leg of the "50 Years" US tour if that's the case. It's difficult, and unfortunate, if he's just miming, if JP feels they need him still for validity, if GT can't let go - all of it. Hate to see heroes go out like that :(
🤘🏽🇦🇷🤘🏽
🤟🤟🤟🤟🙂bacanazo 🇵🇪🇵🇪
Glenn is 4 ever hero ~~~
Baal? No? Just me? Anyyy waaay. Long live Priest 🤘🤘❤️

Maybe the word "Legends" gets overused sometimes...it can't be overused with Priest!!
Less cell phones in the crowd unlike America
Здоровья Хэлфорду!
Рок жив!
Can someone explain to me why there is a bull on the stage?
It's apparently a symbol for Birmingham, I had to Google it after I'd watched them as I had no idea also 😂
the Birmingham Bull Ring is a very well known landmark, the band originally came from just down the road from Birmingham so it's an homage to where they came from. Search Birmingham bull ring on google and all sorts will come up to explain in detail!
Thanks for info, had no idea 🙂
Rob is GOD !!!!
Seems like Rob is just going through the motions.
Great to see the Metal God, Glenn Tipton out there with them.
#ToolArmy
What happened to Halfords voice the singing a lower key now.. I understand he's older but even a couple years ago you still hitting them high notes
It's gotta crash at some point, man.
If he can alter the way he sings to fit his new range, he'd still sound really good. His lower range is still fully intact.
Can someone explain the bull thing?
Am I wrong or is the voice of Rob Halford becoming weaker?
МАЧАНГА РЕБЗЯ!!!!! Гендальф жжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжжет!!!!
Who was the new dude with long hair on the drums??
He's been their drummer since Painkiller. Not nee.
The dude I saw drum for them at the Metal Masters tour 2008 was a dude who had shoulder length hair and a really dark brown color. And he was older looking. This dude is new and younger. Maybe their other drummer got the RONA & this dude filled in??
@@MasterSumai no. This is Scott. He's been in the band for 30 years. He probably just changer his hair or something. He's always been in good shape for his age.
Makes me sad
Fake backing vocals - that's great. Does anybody not cheat on stage these days?
wow, kinda phoning it in here..
i think rob should trim the beard. it makes him look older than he is.....
Blow up Bull?
🤔😀
Better than David Cloverdale
That didn’t sound like him.
残念ながらコレはオレが知ってるジューダスではない😭
Halfords should retire
There's only one...Halford.
Surprised they released this. Pretty mediocre performance from an amazing band. They don't need the piped in backup vocals. Much stronger moments (and songs) on this tour.
Is time to STOP!
Rob lost lots of his voice....so sad
Only his high voice but not his powerful voice.
He's 70. Tell me your grandpa sounds half as good as he does.
@@neighborhoodmusicsnob5517 my grandpa is not a singer...dumb comment
Holy shit he can’t sing anymore
As much as I love this band, there comes a time to call it quits.
@@kurtp8833 yes i saw them in 2014 it was nothing like this, kind of sad really. On the bright side looks like Bruce Dickinson is doing some more solo shit
