- Paul McCartney & Wings - Let Me Roll It (Album, Band on the Run 1973. Single 1974)
Paul McCartney "The Concert For Sandy Relief 12-12-12"
Live From Madison Square Garden in New York City 2012 USA
Still don't know how one man can come up with so many good riffs and melodies.
Because he's a scouser and we live eat n breathe music
Liver-f-pool...
Because he's a musical fucking genius. They come around once every 200 years or so. We, nor our grand children's children, will ever see the likes of him again. We should consider ourselves fortunate that we lived in a time when Paul was alive and we got to experience this phenomena.
Because he's a master musician.
What a shitty riff turned into gold
Paul knows how much swagger is in the guitar riff, he gives the stank face and dances to it too, so awesome!
He’s so good, lol. Especially for a guy in his 70’s!
@@thesilvershining he was 69 in this which is quite nice
@@Aderin.NICE
Впервые услышала эту песню в 76 году. До сих пор обожаю её! Маккартни супер!!! 🎉
Saw him in his Miami OneOnOne show last night. Best concert I've ever been to by far. He truly is a legend
cami
I saw Paul in concert in Auckland in December 2017....best concert I ever attended.
This is a brilliant performance and I have never heard this song before today!
FM rock radio played it a lot back in the day, but usually only late at night. It was a "deep cut," not promoted as heavily as the more pop oriented songs on the Band on the Run album like the cover tune, Jet and Helen Wheels. A few years later rock oriented FM radio changed formats in most cities and a song like Let Me Roll It would never have gotten any air play. Before then, DJs had more discretion in choosing what to play, especially late night.
Very famous PMAC song
I am sorry for you. Bad luck buddy.
I’m sorry you missed out on a gem for years, this song is a classic!
You've got to be kidding!
This song is older than Methuselah.
I'm hearing this song after about 12 or so years. Totally forgot it until it suddenly popped up in my feed. Oh God, the memories this one brings. Almost crying.
1:16 excellent sweat management by the drummer
Wow what a good pair of eyes you have there...
Great catch!!!
Without missing a beat.
Ab Laboriel Jr.
Band on the run album. I still remember them playing the title track to this like every 30 min or so on the radio when it came out. They would play this and then they would play Elton Johns Yellow Brick Road. I was 9 at the time riding in the back section of our 1963 falcon wagon as my parents and my sister went from Maryland to Florida on vacation. I still recall the rubber floors in that car, the hard metal back section of the wagon and trying to lie down there and nap. I recall it was a lime green car with black rubber floors. Strange the stuff you recall years later.
Love to watch Abe get down when drumming......just love it
Abe is a show all by himself
Paul still has it and a great song to top it off!

The video of the 2002 concert in Los Angeles when he plays Jet, Band on the Run and this song, is the best ever!
Tempo da minha juventude. Num baile de domingo, numa quadra de futebol, em um colégio, uma banda tocava está música e eu louca para ser tirada para dançar, e nada. Não esqueço, é linda demais...
Living proof of ingenuity = Paul McCartney!

Let me roll it video
Sing that song beatle
I want him to play the Bass
a sax short of being the Dave Clark Five... Would have liked to see McCartney on keys and Klaus Voormann on bass as the Beatles with five members...
What, he’s only 70 here?
Dayum, now I'm wondering whether Denny Laine or Paul cooked up that tasty guitar riff. Paul is the only other guitarist besides Laine who plays it perfectly. It seems like such a simple riff but most covers get it wrong in the timing or tone. Although I love Fiona Apple's cover with The Roots band on Jimmy Fallon in 2012. Love Captain Kirk too but the timing and tone weren't quite there.
Honestly, you’re right-nobody gets the guitar part perfect except Denny and Paul. Fiona’s cover was ruined for me because the guitarist just never got it down pat.
Nancy Wilson does it but she drags.
Sir Paul soldiered on with this great stuff and poor ol' Lennon made do with Yoko and the likes of 'Whatever gets you through the night'. Gag. Sad.
quien es el viejo emo???
Бис!!!
Поль лучший, наш старикан!!!!!
