I know many people may disagree, but I love that your videos are “behind”. For one, I get to relive special days like these. But also, it gives you guys time to keep things to yourself and think about and process them (the baby boy! 😍). Merry Christmas and happy new year to the whole family. I totally agree. It is nice coming back after the holiday and getting to extend it by watching your videos and a few others who film ahead of time. I think it’s a great way to relieve stress and anxiety and most importantly not taking away from your family time or traditions. I have to admit that it has been really nice getting to see the different perspectives of the different family members videos of the same events.
Ellie I know that you went to school to be a hair stylist and all, but because you lighten your and have been curling it with a flat iron I worry that the heat from the iron is causing lots of damage to your hair. I am just concerned about it. As a person who has naturally curly hair I know how much the different styling tools can damage the hair and to be honest when I see how much hair people leave straight at the ends doesn’t look natural. I highly suggest using a regular curling iron as they are less damaging. Love you and your family ❤️❤️❤️❄️ jealous of all your snow. We got 6 inches a few weeks ago which is crazy as we rarely get snow in the foothills of NC.
I completely agree! The quality of the videos are also better because he doesn’t have to rush as much and you’re right it must be very nice that they can keep things special for a few days before sharing it. I’m not understanding why people are having such a hard time grasping this concept.

Every time I see Calvin around music or instruments, I think of how much he would benefit from some lessons. That little man just loves music, as if its part of his soul! Love how excited Jackson was to open presents! Those are two of the most adorable boys ever. Pretty soon it will be three!

My favorite part was at bedtime when Jared asked if the boys knew who was coming tonight and Jackson’s answer wasn’t immediately, Santa Claus. You all have done a great job of keeping Christ the center of Christmas and not Santa and teaching your kids that too! Wonderful parenting and amazing ministering. You all are raising some amazing, Jesus loving boys!

This was so lovely! It really touched me and I had tears in my eyes.
I've rewatched the Harry Potter reference literally 6 times and crack up each time. That was too much 😂 I'm only 3 and a half minutes in and this vlog is already one of my favorites. You all seem so happy and it just warms my heart.
EDIT: Laughing though this entire video. At Calvin looking like a little old man with his bathrobe, with Jared saying "This is not Tow Mater, this is Smokey's Automotive Services" in a disappointed voice. Precious Grandma Great using just the yellow MnMs on Bingo. Pregnant Ellie playing the part of Mary really made me laugh. I'm always one for church jokes 😂 What a great vlog. Just as good as the Christmas special. Literally having a blast watching it.

This was wonderful, I was giggling at the beginning Calvin already has his fingers in the right position for guitar! Jackson what a good big brother he's going to set the best example for all his younger siblings. You guys...... I bawled when Grandma great got on here and sharing memories, my Mom passed March 2016, this was my 2nd Christmas without her she was 91 she was ready to see my dad again and her parents and sister. But it's still hard. I'm just so very greatful for Eternal Families and The Saviors Atonement! God Bless and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I'm so excited to have my son for Christmas next year!!! It's going to be so exciting! I'm so blessed to be able to go through with this pregnancy because I thought after miscarrying in 2013, I was never going to be able to have kids. God is amazing and He put my son in my life for a reason. I can't wait to meet him in April! I love you guys so much! God bless! ❤

Such sweet boys. Loved your blankets and the name grandma great! Think I'll use that in a few years. My oldest grandson is 19. Then 18, 17, 14, and 6. It was so fun when they were all little. The time flies by so enjoy them when their little. I loved the Santa believing time. Merry Christmas.
