How u doing Nick, just been looking at video. Noticed you bought van from TMD as well. Great service from Nigel. Had a long way to travel to pick ours up from North East Scotland. See you have the new Alloys and BFG tires. Could you send link on Adria and let me know full costs please. Looking for 2023 upgrade and wondering how much i need to start putting away for these. Great video by the way.
Hi Mark doing well thanks. Yes I got my van through Nigel and I’ve found TMD to be a great company but like you had to travel to pick the van up although not as far as you! I got my wheels and tyres through Elite Wheels & Tyres in Reading and they were great to deal with. Here’s a link to their eBay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255638169883?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=z1Q0KYZtTsS&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=pQNxKc9WTFO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPYThey are currently around £1395 but if you say you’ve seen my video ruclips.net/video/PHlAKTYWOgA/видео.html you should get a discount and they do mail order. Happy travels!
@@nickharper6436 Hi Nick yes Lad the youth from RAF Wittering days and the windsurfing days at Rutland. I sent you my number as I dont have any means by which to contact you :)
Hi Nick Only just found your channel and subscribed. Looks sensational! Especially with the new wheels. How are the new wheels running by the way? I take it they don’t rub, as some people have reported. Did you keep the originals? Does the Twin come with a spare, if so where is it? Hope you don’t mind all the questions, but I’m very interested in the Twin. You didn’t seem to have any problems obtaining the van. We’re you just lucky? What is the actual colour, don’t look white? Looks great. Did you opt for any dealer or manufacturer extras? Or is it the base model? Was a solar panel fitted? What size? Is that the standard DAB Radio and Sat Na screen? Looks large? How do you find the bed? I’m 6ft 2 will I fit transverse? Sorry so many questions but non available to look at at moment. Any chance you can post your full spec or do a full van review, that would be very very useful for me Cheers hope your enjoying it! Neil
Hi Neil, sorry only just noticed your questions. The wheels and tyres are great and don’t run as they are the same size as the original wheels and tyres! I sold the originals and didn’t seem any point in keeping them and it off set the cost of the new ones. The Colour of the van is expedition grey and actually looks a lot better in the flesh. The van was dealer ordered and I was lucky I think as I put a deposit on it before it arrived at the dealer. It’s the 160bhp 9 speed Automatic and has most extras ie safety pack so auto lights, lane control, braking wipers etc. It came with the 120 watt solar panel and two leisure batteries and B2B charger. I have been off grid for 5 days on the summer with no problem. Possibly could have gone longer! Hope this helps.
Thanks for subscribing Jim. Done a few minor mods like the mirror guards, window vents, bike rack and just about to put a gas changeover valve in the back. Eventually I think I will install an under sling LPG tank to free up the gas locker space! Oh and the wheels and BFG tyres of course.
Hi Nick how have you found the van so far ! Must say it looks the part with the new alloys on. I subscribe to the twin face book family and have to say we have been put off by the amount of people that have had teething problems from rusty roofs and components to flimsy catches and flickering lights etc even as far as returning for full refunds. I'm just not getting the excuses of everyone that is blaming covid. Would you spend the 70k again if given the opportunity. Hope it's all gone smoothly with yours 👍
Hi Lawrence thanks for the comments. I’ve only had one issue in that the grey water tank wouldn’t empty. That was fixed under warranty. People will always highlight problems on forums and in my opinion out of the 1.5k members there isn’t that many. The rusty roof did concern me but that would have been a Fiat problem I would have thought. You will find the same on the other forums too with different manufactures. I’m really happy with mine and having looked around for the right van I would buy another Adria. It is true that factories haven’t been running with the normal amount of staff due to COVID but this shouldn’t be an excuse. The thing is all vans/Motorhomes are houses on wheels and your bound to get teething issues as you would in a new house. Good luck with your new van purchase, I’m certainly happy with mine 👍
Hi Nick i picked up a 21 plate 600 spb in April, can i ask have you had the fans fire up really loud when turning the ignition off after a drive. I believe this is normal and something that happens every 400-500 miles, I beleive its DPF regen ?
Hi thanks for your comments and yes this has happened a couple of times with me too. I believe if it’s going through a regen at the time you stop then it carries on. I think if it happens while driving you wouldn’t notice it. That’s my understanding anyway! Happy twining 👍
Beautiful van which i hope you enjoy using on your travels.
Many thanks. Yes I am getting lots of use out of the van. 15k done already!
Thanks for sharing the pick up Nick! Ofc I will sub as a Twinnin fellow 😁🙌
Many thanks Mattias 😊

You should consider filming the van rather than yourself. We want to actually see the van!!!!!
Hi Peter and thanks for your comments. I’ll think about that in the future although there was a decent amount of inside the van IMO
