Aferiy P210 Portable Power Station Review
This is a review of the usability of the Aferiy P210 2400W (4800W Peak) Portable Power Station. I've found it a fantastic addition to my Adria Twin Camper Van extending my off grid time and found it useful around the home too. I hope you find the video useful if you are thinking of a Portable Power Station for your van, motorhome, tent or home.

While at TMD for the annual habitation check I took the opportunity to have a look around some Adria Motorhomes and vans. Specifically the Adria Compact Supreme, Adria Supersonic 890LL, Adria Twin 680 SLB Max on the MAN, Adria Twin 640 SLB Sport and the Adria Active duo. I stayed prior to the visit at Chapel lane CAMC site. Also at the end of the video I have a look around Brecketts Farm Shop w...
Headlight Bulb Upgrade - Fiat Ducato, Adria Twin.

As the nights have now drawn in I thought it’s about time to upgrade the headlight bulbs on my Fiat Ducato Adria Twin. I didn’t want to go down the LED route for potential MOT problems so thought I’d try the Osram Night Breaker 200, H7. They do make an improvement and there are also other options on Amazon from Osram that you may prefer. I’m not sponsored and these are purely my own personal ch...
Potential Fiat Ducato Injector Rust Problems

So having fitted Sumo springs to the rear of my Fiat Ducato, video linked here: ruclips.net/video/CW6tsStf8Ck/видео.html I’ve decided to upgrade to double rear leaf springs so this will allow more suspension travel and in my opinion this will work well in combination with the Sumo Springs. There is a clip at the end of the video that shows them working well together. The double leaf springs has...

Hi Nick Just came across your video. how do you change from one bottle to the other bottle. Many thanks Bob
Hi Bob, thanks for watching the video. As both bottles are attached you just close the valve on the empty bottle and then open the valve on the full bottle and you’re good to go. Hope this helps
@ I just wondered if you had to do anything with the gaslow valve Thanks
No nothing at all
Thanks for your efforts. In germany these sumo parts are not well known.. most drivers install spring coils instead of the original parts. Can you tell us what ist the price for sumo.
Hi thanks for watching the video and the comments. I installed mine in 2022 and they were around £290 but having just had a look on Amazon they are around £500 so gone up considerably. I’m sure of you shop around you could get them cheaper.
Hello Nick, thanks for a very helpful video. My scuttles are blocked - just wondered if you could remember the brand of that long flexible brush you bought?
Hi thanks for the comments. It’s a 60cm sink and drain cleaning brush. I got it off one of the stalls and it’s made by Jiating model RY2027
@nickharper6436 Thank you Nick!
Mine was £26
Fantastic 👍

Good to see 👍🏻
Thanks glad you enjoyed it.
@ when we bought our twin we went for a different dealer but would consider these next time 👍🏻
@ yes definitely. They were good to deal with and sorted my warranty issues out but there weren’t many on my van.
@ that’s good to hear thank you 👍🏻
Hi Nick, We pick an SGX in a couple of weeks, so I’m looking at Dash cams. Are you still happy with the Road Angel? I like how small and discrete they are. Thanks Jon
Hi Jon, yes I’m still happy with the dash cam. There are better out there but for the price it’s ok. Once fitted you can forget it and hopefully not need it. Exciting times ahead with the delivery of the new van. Thanks for watching the vid and hopefully it’ll make it a bit easier to fit.
That the thing, the MAN may drive better but really I don't mind the Ducato cause it reminds me I'm hauling 3 1/2 tons so best take it easy. The MAN should hold value well but an extra 20k I'd hate to justify.
I’m totally with you on that one. Thanks for watching the video 👍
great video Nick, love seeing the Adria's. As I said in my quick video review of my van, wish they were available in Australia when we were changing over from our Bailey Caravan.
Thanks Philip, yes I know they are available now as there are a few owners from Australia on the Adria Twin Facebook group. When did they first arrive in Australia?
@@nickharper6436 G'day Nick, I think during COVID they stopped importing due to a lack of Fiats, like most places. I believe it was the 2023 models (Twin 600 SPB) coming in for sale in Aus.
As always great Vid Nick 😁Yeah, my perception of dark colours in a small area, makes it feel less spacious and gloomy, pity Adria has adopted this for their colour scheme..
Thanks Jay. I know what you mean but they don’t seem too dark with the big sky lights but I’m still undecided on the black trim. I guess it’s the trend at the moment!
Have you noticed any difference in your MPG with the newer tyres fitted?
I didn’t notice any difference as I fitted them not long after they got the van. I average about 30 mpg with these tyres. There is bound to be a slight reduction in MPG I would have thought though but not that noticeable.

Glad you found the video useful and thanks for watching.
Great video but wired this way the cam will always be live even when ignition off won’t it Wouldn’t it be best to wire to the ignition live feed to only be live once ignition turned on then no battery drain etc
Hi thanks for watching the video. So there will be power to the camera when the ignition is off but there needs to be so that it will record if the vehicle is bumped ie a parking collision. It isn’t constantly recording with ignition off and does shut down after a few minutes and you can select this time in the app. It then goes into standby mode (detecting if bumped) draining very little power and the hard wire kit has a battery sensor that will disconnect the camera if it senses that the starter battery is too low. I haven’t had any problems so far. Hope this helps.
@ brilliant explanation thanks makes sense 👍
mine did i run a new pipe down past engine works a treat
G'day Nick, another great video mate. On a different topic, have you had any issues with your Horrex fly screen door coming off the bottom rail? On my van the corner guide is plastic & seems to easily flex & come off the aluminum bottom rail. I've been trying see if a more solid guide (maybe alloy??) but haven't had any luck here in Australia?
Thanks for the comments Phillip. My flyscreen came off once but I put some silicone in the bottom rail to help and havnt had any more problems although I’m very careful while using it. You can get an aluminium guide and I’ve put a link below: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285772294024?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=guPiTftiR-m&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=pQNxKc9WTFO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@@nickharper6436 - Awesome, thanks again Nick, much appreciated. I've ordered one of these. I'm very careful too, but was away with some friends who didn't know how flexible these screens can be :-( anyway, hopefully this aluminum guide will be a bit better. thanks again mate, PS: loving my BF Goodrich ATs as well. Keep those video's coming mate. Cheers, Phil
Many thanks Phil, a few more in the pipeline to come 👍

Did you get the Link to the e marked LED?
No I didn’t Andrew. I’ve looked at the Osram LED H7 bulbs but they all say for off road use but do get good reviews on light pattern. I’ve not been able to find any e marked LEDs so if you or anyone else do find them I’d be interested in giving them a go and comparing to ones I fitted. Thanks for your comments.
@ I found the same issue, fitted same bulbs as yourself last year, yes an improvement but not game changing, bought some hella led black magic and bonnet mounts, yet to fit so fingers crossed for the high beam
@Andrew-Dixon I think they will make a big improvement. Let me know how you get on with them please.
Done these on mine but since done sone e marked led ones and wow what a difference and so much less energy and heat produced
That’s interesting. Do you have a make or link please? Thanks for watching and the comments.
@@nickharper6436 look for OSRAM LedDriving and they also do a kit. I will find the box for mine
Many thanks for your response.
Hi Nick, where have you been???????? Great video
Hi I’ve been a bit busy or maybe lazy 🙈😂. Hopefully more to follow as I’ve got a few in the can to edit. Thanks for the comments 👍
Another great video Nick, its been a while since your last one.. 😂
Thanks Jayson and hopefully more to come now I have more free time! Thanks for watching 👍
I’ve had these same bulbs in our last 3 motorhomes & while whiter & better than standard bulbs still not great, the Ducato & Boxer headlights are not the best for lighting up the road.
Yes agreed but every little bit helps. Thanks for watching and your comments. Maybe an LED light bar would be the ultimate improvement 🤔
Make some mesh covers to fit over the drain holes in the scuttle panel, this will stop large detritus going down the hole a and blocking the drain pipes.
Good tip and definitely worth doing if you’re leaving the van unattended in storage over the winter. Thanks for watching the video.
Thanks for the info. 👍
just replace the tube with a straight tube without connectors 😅
That’s certainly a possibility to do that. Thanks for the comments and watching the video.
Would you not be better replacing the pipe so the pipe join is lower down so that if it does leak it will go straight to ground instead of over major components
Yes that’s a possible option. It does drain lower down by the wheel arch but it leaks where it joins over the engine. Sealing that would serve the same purpose I guess. Thanks for watching and your comments.
Spray your motor head with crc soft seal. Great stuff
Many thanks Phil I’ll give it a try 👍

Worst video I’ve watched of how to fit a bike rack 🤷🏻♂️ thanks for showing us how to fit it 🤨
Sorry it didn’t meet you expectations. I’ll try better next time ha ha
What’s weight limit on bike rack
I believe the max weight is 35kg
Be so much better if there was another bar on left barn so weight is spread over 2 doors and bike weight spread even then once at location slide rack over to right door so doors can open
Sounds a good idea. 👍

Great video, very helpful. just a trivial ask, Q. which and how did you mount the camera for watching the spring movement while driving? - is it a gopro? which model? very clear to watch. - and what is your next upgrade? rear shocks or the Front end? -i guess that is a whole aother question - what about the front end?! - thanks for posting the great video.
Hi John thanks for the comments. Is the little cube GoPro and I used a fly mount to mount it to the underneath. Regarding the front I’ve put Sumo spring assisters on. Eventually I’ll change the shocks but for now I’m satisfied with the ride!
Do you need that bottle tho you can just use that adapter on a normal bottle ???
Hi thanks for the comments. Yes you could use the adapter on a normal bottle of you wanted.
There's something oddly satisfying about watching suspension in motion.
Cool, glad you enjoyed the video !
make a net and cover the holes so it doesent go in to the pipes much easier to clean
Thanks for the comments and yes a good idea which I’ve now done 👍
Hi nick , looks like a good upgrade , I see it was a few years ago you fitted these , are you still running with both sumo springs , I’m thinking of doing this to my Hymer ( Ducato also ) Tha so for another reallly good video⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hi Scott yes I’m still on the SUMO springs and they are working great. I’ve also added double leave springs and the combination works great. I’ve added the video here: ruclips.net/video/Fm3afkwuYpA/видео.htmlsi=rB_DR4DhJlLoF5Sg
Thanks for a very helpful video. I have followed it to install the same camera with the hardwiring kit. The only problem I have is that I can’t connect to the camera once I park and walk away from our motorhome. It’s fine when I’m in it but not when I leave it, for instance when I’m at home. Should I be able to connect and view the camera from any connected device or only when I’m in the vehicle? I thought I would be able to this but perhaps I’m wrong. It only connects when it’s listed on my phones available Wi-Fi connections and the halo one disappears when I walk away from the camera. Any help much appreciated, cheers.
Hi Tim, thanks for watching the video and glad you found it useful. Unfortunately it will only connect to your phone when you are in range (Wi-Fi) of the dash cam. You can get ones that do what you want but are of course a lot more expensive. Blackview is one such brand I believe.
So over 2 years on which ones sre you still using and are they any good?
Hi thanks for the comments. So I’ve used most things apart from the LED light and the fire extinguisher thankfully. The Ridge Monkey is really good and gets used often.
Great advice, i would suggest using ACF50 or muckoff HbC1 as they are designed to protect engines from corrosion
Thanks for the comments and good advice 👍
Useful reminder, thanks. It can be awkward to remove debris from these pipes but you can get a drain unblocked which connects to a Karcher (it has three back jets to push through to the blockage and a forward jet to break up the blockage.) It has never failed. I use pot scrubber as a filter. Let’s water through but catches bigger debris.
Thanks for the useful info. The pot scrubber idea sounds good 👌
Thank you! You didn't show how to make the most difficult purchase. How to attach the bars to the car. The final installation is easy.
Yes sorry I didn’t film that part and realised after that I hadn’t
@@nickharper6436 Thanks anyway. Your video was helpful. I found a German video where the installation of the strips was explained. I know English better. Happy summer and greetings from Finland.
Totally skipped the glue step wow
Yes I could have kicked myself for missing that bit and realised once Id stick it down but no going back at that point 🙈
Do you know where the middle drain pipe runs out. Mine is blocked and I can't clear it. I've seen a spare on ebay and the problem is the stupid design at the end of the pipe it's not open it's shaped and has a really narrow flat exit, which is clearly blocked on mine. But I can't find a workshop drawing that shows me where it comes out. I'm assuming it somewhere around the driver's side wheel arch.
Hi Andy it’s in the drivers side wheel arch behind the wheel towards the top of that makes sense. I squeezed mine by reaching down inside the engine bay. Squash the pipe vigorously as I did mine and it eventually cleared. Hope this helps.
@@nickharper6436 that’s great, thanks Nick.
So true! I had a mechanic clear mine on a Fiat Ducato 2018. And what he did was to remove the whole thing with his bare hands. Just like you said, it had a small exit (looked kind of like an elephant's nose) which he widened by squeezing on the end, then hit the thing on the ground, and debris just kept coming out lol. Why on earth they have a large intake and small exit I don't know. It's almost like they deliberately designed the thing to be collecting debris, causing water overflow and engine problems. Hmm. Now that I am saying it.............
@themartinandersson thanks for watching and the comments. You may have a point 🤔
Thank you 👍
No worries and glad you found it useful.
Hi nick what wind Defactors have you got on your motorhome pls They look wider than the ones I've seen
Hi they are the HEKO ones which I got of eBay
Greetings from Finland and thanks for this video. I just changed my motorhome to a Sunlight T67 which is built on a Ducato about the same age. I got some tips on removing the covers etc. from you.
Many thanks for your comments and glad you found the video useful 👍
Hi nick, have you changed anything at the front?
Hi I fitted Sumo springs to the front as well. Link here to the video: ruclips.net/video/Dcx2SLjAu9c/видео.htmlsi=CoBZsLOCRPBETxIu
I thought those springs are not supposed to be touching unless you are driving over a bump.
Ideally that would be the case. I’ve added double leaf springs so they are just clear now. Thanks for your comments.
Where did you buy Sumo Springs. Their website says no dealers in Europe. Do they have to be imported from the US?
Hi thanks for watching the video. I got mine off Amazon and they did come from the US. Rhodes vans also used to sell them but not sure if they still do.
