The assassin in the game is gonna be primarily the ninja girl in the trailer. (From what the trailer shows)

I think it has potential. Exploring the story of Yasuke could be pretty interesting, but they're probably going to ruin it with DEI.
@@PhthaloGreenskin Kind of agree that Yasuke has good potential as a fictional story to explore, if they keep it from breaking the immersion. It would probably be a good side-quest/DLC story, just not as a Japanese setting main character.

Funny how the game journalists talked crap about Ghost of Tsushima, and the game ended up selling extremely well. But when the game journalists talk positively of the assasins creed game, it's a flop. Well if you get technical Ninjas were closer to spies, their job was information gathering, not assassination, they just may be employed for that in rare cases, but unless such rare case, killing as a ninja would mean you screwed up and got found.
Still, they had several legendary ninjas to choose from, including female, and they go and pick the one guy who, if actually existed, just got lucky for a single year becoming an exotic pet, and if he ever was allowed to train, he could've never graduated the equivalent of a martial arts' white belt. If you want to say the guy was a great warrior, it would've been a barbaric one due to his physical advantage, or with a former African battle style, but no way as a Samurai.
