  • After more than 6000km of riding the tire has visible wear and a couple of cuts but still works perfectly. Tires were switched back to front and front to back after arround 2500km.
I run 6 bar (90psi) at the rear and 5 bar (70 psi) at the front.
The tires measure 30mm in width mounted to Stans NoTubes ZTR Alpha 340 Tubeless Rims (inner width 17mm) using Stans Tubeless Vales, Stans Rim tape and Stans standard sealant.
I have raced this setup on numerous Elite Crits and Road Races, it is also my everyday training setup and has seen 100 to 200 km of gravel riding.
The ride feeling is great, that is something i noticed right from the beginning. It is hard to tell what exactly it is, but it just rolls great. I'm not claiming that it is faster than other tires (even though it might well be) but it definitly feels faster.
I will use this model of tire again. I might try the 25mm version just to see how it compares. The 28mm however is great.

I have had a similar good experience with the pro one tubeless on stans avion rims. I got more cuts on the back tyre as I was running them at 4 bar as the roads we have in England are poor and we have a lot of flints which splinter and then puncture the tyres. For bigger holes which the sealant cannot fix I use stans Dart . I had one Dart in the tyre from November 19 till March 20 when I scrapped the tyre due to wear. I'm just about to buy a new pro one and will probably get the 30mm version as my 28mm actually measure over 30 on the wide rim. Great tyre/rim combination.

Isn't 4 bar lower than the recommended range? I've had no problems running it at 8 bar on the British roads. No punctures yet.

Good idea to rotate tires around. I should have done that since my back is more worn and finished after 4000km. front still has a bit of life left but I'll replace it

Hello, if you still have the same type of tyres on your wheels could you measure the height too? 30mm wide and ??mm high

Amazing you made them last that long, I put a brand new set on as I had way to many tubeless plugs in my previous set and I got 5km down the road on brand new tires and got a catastrophic blow out in the rear. I think I went through 6 tires in 2000km. Very very dangerous from my experience as kept blowing out on the downhill at 60km/h and the stans race sealant wouldnt seal and would drop all pressure instantly. Now ive done 5000km on some Pirelli Cinturato tires, 2500km on a new set because I got new wheels and I just checked them out and actually found the tire bulging! I thought it was the perfect invincible tire but the out skin like the rubber has pressure behind it and I can press it down and feel the bottom protection layer is still hard. I have no idea if its still safe.

finnally find someone have the same experience. I had mine first tubeless giant SLR and it just last 3km until was cut by hell on a very clean tarmac (at least the surface of the road looks excellent). Now my Pirelli Cinturato 28mm is running towards 3000km, lots of small cuts but works perfectly. Not just put on a set of new Pro One on my TT bike and we will see how long it last.

What pressure are you running. High pressure will give a harsh ride and probably more punctures from glass, flints etc. Lower pressure Eg 4.5 bar the tyre will flex over the objects rather than take a direct impact which causes the cut.

how do you do it, 6000 km on the rear tyre is twice as much as I get!

Great milage you did there, but Im surprised after the cut with the glass you bother and repaired the tire. I don't know if this is only me but I would just trow it to the bin and buy new one. Is like 50euro, I think once per year you can spend 50euro on the tire, is not much. Regards

Rim 19 mm tyres 32C and I got 29 mm... Why do you use so high pressure? On the tyre sidewall is signed 5,5 bar max... I use tube typ only.

Will these tires work with clincher wheels?

There is a version that uses tubes if that's what you're asking. Schwalbe makes the best tyres. I normally wear the tyre out before I cop a puncture.

You can also install a new Rim tape and buy two Tubeless valves. Then you are able to install an Tubeless Setup on the Clincher weel

Yes they will work on regular clincher rims. Check to see if your bike has tubeless ready rims so you can go tubeless.
