Title: Painting the wood grain with Olesja
I grew up with the phenomenal wood grain painting created by my European-trained Hungarian grandfather...he covered our walls with the most stunning work. I was too young to have watched him actually paint the wood grain, so I find this demo fascinating. I still have samples of his work in a portfolio...they are my treasures.
literally making the cardboard remember the tree it came from originally 😮😮
so neat and talented
Holy crap. I don't think I could really appreciate the marble painting, but this one blew me away.
Wow! So amazing! Beautiful work! Thank you for sharing this with us!
Wow. She is amazing.
Wonderful work
Extraordinary! How she must have studied wood to understand grain. It was magic to see a piece of cardboard turn into wood. And to see the plain table top turn into a book matched piece of art. Can you tell us where she studied?
Unfortunately I don´t know
Beautiful
Amazing.
Impressive technique 👏👏👏
This is aMAZing!
Прекрасное мастерство. Респект Олесе!

Zdrowia i powodzenia życzę
A nawet z kartki papieru
Very cool technique. On the tables, what was the surface? Was it wood or something else?
Yes, wood.
Have just watched the video that shows how you restore a Russian guitar. Thought that you are from Russia. Then saw the name Olesja. Was sure you're from Russia but with Belarusian roots. Name Alesya is Belarusian. But you speak Spanish, I guess or Portuguese. So that doesn't matter, I wish you good luck with your channel and all the best in the New Year!
he's from Tallinn, they speak Estonian. explains everything, doesn't it? :)
@@_f355 oh yeah, Estonia is one of former Soviet countries. Thanks.
Thanks! The guitar just had russian tuning, it was made in Estonia.
@@_f355 The language being spoken sounds a lot like Finnish.
Hello Ahti
Does Olesya use a clear coat between the different layers?
I have seen some artists do this to give depth to their work.
Nothing between layers.
