They should just let everyone vote in both semifinals at this point. Without juries countries will vote for their neighbours as usual and Iceland didn't have a change when all of its neighbours were in the other semifinal

I ask myself the same question. The song from Poland is the sort of tune that plays on some radio stations repeatedly addressed to superficial people. However I wouldn't say the song from Iceland is a masterpiece. No way.
The thing is there were even worse songs than Polish but you cannot notice that because you are obviously Pole so it is the easiest way to spit on your own country, our national speciality. Apart from that song from Island was not worse than Tattoo.

I'm from Bolivia and I can understand your pain since the national finals, Polish friends. I was shocked and enraged Dilja and Iru (who has been seen crying broken after the announcement) were not in the finals but Solo somehow did. 😢 (And checking the Semi 2 televote results, it is tragic)

I love you Diljá and Iceland ❤Even if you didn't qualify, you will forever stay in my heart and as one of my favourite songs of this year's contest. I did feel like she was nervous here, felt like her vocals weren't as stable as I've heard from her before and that's a shame, maybe it cost her points too. Anyway, I could see how much heart she put in her performance and it's heartbreaking it seems like it gone unnoticed by the majority. Sad this song was never popular as well, as I think it's better than some qualifiers and has a good meaning and message.
