Jonas is haunted by Mikkel, who died because of time travel (when Jonas traveled to try and stop him,) and Alt-Martha is haunted by our Martha, who also died bc of time travel (Adam traveling to kill her.) Martha is holding out her hand to her alt-self, however, calling her to our world, maybe? Or calling her towards death, telling her to destroy the loop? Idk.

The one question I really wanted to see addressed was what was the point of Noah testing the time machine in S1, when they already had working time devices of various kinds at Sic Mundus. It doesn't make sense to invent and test a machine that they already know how it works and have designs for. But there is an explanation, I just wish they had included it. Something along these lines MUST have happened for the evolution of the machine to make sense. My head canon scene goes like this:
THE SCENE I WANTED TO SEE: Flashback around 1890, Stranger Jonas has hit a wall trying to recreate his own working time machine, because without dark matter, he can't power it without using the caves' energy. He is surprised to see adult Noah come in. Noah gives him the research he's done in the bunker and the plans for the first successfully working time machine (the improved chair that sends Helge back). Noah tells the Stranger that three boys had to die in order to do the experiments, but it paid off and you can use this design to finally start perfecting your own time machine. The Stranger realizes he has to trust Noah, accepts this, and is one of the first moral compromises he makes on his journey to become Adam. Suspiciously, he then asks Noah who sent him. Noah replies - 'you did'. Later Noah returns to Adam around 1920, and says 'it is done'.
This would have given the needed payoff of all the kidnappings and experiments / in season 1, which were barely alluded to in season 2, and would have shown how the Stranger makes ethical compromises to become so cold and heartless (something else I thought was missing).

    • @thecaveofculture
      @thecaveofculture  4 года назад +29

That would have been cool. I also think the kidnappings had to happen to force people on to the correct paths. Eryk has to go missing to make Alexander move the barrels into the truck and eventually burying them in concrete as he wanted to keep them secret. Mads needed to go missing to ensure Ulrich became a police officer as well as ensure tronte helped out katharina. Yasin.....maybe Noah was jealous of the attention he got from Elizabeth lol

    • @mayankmishra8567
      @mayankmishra8567 4 года назад +3

@@thecaveofculture I think the above explanation makes a lot of sense. I guess, things could change and nobody cared. The only thing which keeps loop continuous is the overview of Adam and Eva, who ensure that even if things changed, people's lives make complete cycles to gain stability of their present self. It's their persistent efforts which make the knot entact. That maybe the reason Claudia, didn't reveal herself till the very end, cause otherwise any change by her would have been met by counter actions from Adam and Eva as both in their oldest self are quite sure, that they need to make things entact. Finally, when realisation dawns upon Adam, he would listen to her and change things.

    • @matijasparas4934
      @matijasparas4934 3 года назад +2

Exactly that confuses me the most. Why did Noah and Helge kidnapp the kids and TEST time machine with them? When the real purpose of Noah was to find his daughter not to create the time machine, cause they already have multiple time machines. And why it had to bo 33 years between the two dissapearences (of Ulich brother Mads and the other kid who was selling drugs)...
And when young Helge went missing for 6 months, who had him, and why had him for 6 month and then relise him?
Great series, i just dont think, that this kidnapps are well structured in the story...

A question I have is who the hell created the machine that allowed Martha to travel through worlds. Tannhaus?

    • @DanteYewToob
      @DanteYewToob 4 года назад +8

I also want to know who actually designed the machines.
Tannhaus just built the first machine, he didn't design it... he absolutely couldn't have because it required technology that didn't exist.
Same with the Orb... so did Adam and Eva design them? That would make sense to me.
Adam spent decades designing and building his bunker machine, and knew the plant machinery inside and out, and his plans revolved around the 33year cycles. I absolutely believe he was capable of designing the box.
Eva is more mysterious but seems to be more technologically advanced and always one step ahead of Adam and so I could see her taking his box and refining it and making it better. Her plan was a scalpel and Adam's was a hammer. Hers required precision and exact timing, so she designed her device to travel to any exact moment.
Adam was more of a sledgehammer and relied on big things; public deaths, murders, moving people through time... etc. He only needed that 33yr gap.
So, my theory is that Adam designed the box and claudia stole the design or maybe Agnes gave her the blueprint and she had Tannhaus make the device. I think a bootstrap paradox allowed claudia to use an orb to bring a box to alt world where Eva was able to study it and design the orb. Timey wimey paradox. Because Adam started with a big machine the size of a room, his invention became the box, because Eva started with the box her invention became the Orb.

      @kiranjoshi7628 3 года назад +2

I think the creater of time machine which maratha uses is infact created by Adam and Sic Mundus. I have a theory on this hope you like it.
24 September 1888: - Middle aged Jonas is stuck in 1888 with his friends and visited by Alt Marath. He thinks alt Maratha lied to him through letter and he was unable to save his Maratha .
After alt-Maratha escapes and leave Middle Aged Jonas and friends, he concludes that it is Alt Maratha reason for all his suffering.
By this time he has seen the golden Round Machine. By the next 23 years he is able to create all following three means of time travel on his own
1)The suit case kind of time Machine
      2)The Round Golden Time Machine
      3)The big Dark matter portal.
So this would explain how he transported young Silija from 1911 to somewhere after 2040.
The Sic Mudannce create many orbs in future for example
Orb which is used by Adult Magnus and Adult Franziska to save Alt Marath.
One version of Alt Maratha to save Jonas from 2020 Apocalypse.
As Eva knows that Adam has prepared Round Time Machine she sends her son to retrieve plan structure of both time machine. The suitcase plane is given to claudia which in turn would be passed to H G Tannhus and Eva uses Round time Machine plan to make multiple devices in her own for her followers.

I got that mirroring was used in some instances to have a visual distinction between world 1 and world 2.......but since the trio are just born in one world, shouldn’t be the harelip be always on the same side? ......and another thing I noticed....did anybody ever asked why , when the trio went to sabotage the nuclear power plant, the young one went with the old one, and the middle one went alone?.....my guess is that the young one learns how to do it from the old one. Because the old one knows how to do it, because he did it as the middle one, who knew how, because he watched the old one do it.....another nice little bootstrap paradox....

i think there is a lot of joy in the right amount of speculation and i truly applaud dark for being able to balance pay-off with mystery so consistently, in such a way that i feel it makes the show grounded in reality but also mysterious and thoughtful. it's not easy to end any show, but i think the fact they were able to conclude the show so concisely and effectively, speaks volumes to their abilities as writers and creators. thanks for all your videos on this series, i've really enjoyed watching them all and i am waiting in anticipation for your full review.

Dark is and will still be in 33 years my favourite show! I love season 3 with all my heart. The only thing is, I wish they had explained a little more of the events that happened in the alt world. Because some of it feels like it was forced just to fit with Jonas' world. Like... When the main Hannah goes to the past and finds Egon, it's a result of character development, and her reacting to the previous events. But in alt world, Egon comes and takes her back to the past for her to meet him?
That doesn't really make much sense.
Another example of this is how Ulrich tried to kill Helge. It made sense in the main universe because he has just lost his son, and he thinks it's the only way to get him back. But in the alt-universe, he has lost his brother for 33 years, so it doesn't really justify him killing Helge.
But these are nitpicks. I think the finale was brilliant, and I honestly didn't see how they could pull it off, but they did without breaking every rules that they had previously established.
    Brilliant show ! :)

No one is explaining how Claudia really Figured out about the origin world. They are simply just Quoting whatever in on the Website or Whatever is said in the series.
So here is My interpretation for "how Claudia got to know about origin world".
Claudia Visits both worlds after killing alt Claudia. In every loop, she learned from her mistakes. She taught her younger self about everything in that loop and how she could try doing some things differently. The loop may have repeated a million times. Claudia 1 taught Claudia 2, Claudia 2 taught Claudia 3, ..... Claudia X-1 taught Claudia X. finally after many Trials and Errors In many loops Claudia X understood everything that's happening and came to the conclusion that a third world must exist where H.G. Tannhaus must have an accident with his time machine.
So at some point during the apocalypse, she was successful in sending one version of her to get killed by Noah and another one lived long enough to tell Adam Everything.

so if she changes like a letter in a novel (analogy) then no one will notice... nd neither will it change the meaning of the story.... but take it over centuries.... then those one letter changes will sum up to change the whole story bit by bit and that's what claudia did.
she moved pieces in such a manner that the actions seemed futile....such minor changes that no one will even care abt
but in the long run that changed everything

Here's my two cents of understanding to it. Tanhaus also has two realities in his deterministic world (original/ thirld world as we see in the final series). Tanhaus creates the time machine, which leads to apocalypse in his world and eventual formations of the two different worlds. Hence the apocalypse is bound to happen in all the dimensions. Reality is the same afterall in parallel universes/ multiverse theory. Just that in original world of Tanhaus' there was no power plant (refer the last scene where Jonas and Martha meet, the background, no power plant), which makes sense because the power plant bid was forcefully made to be worked in both worlds by the unknown (son of J+M). So apocalypse in Adam and Eva's world is because of nuclear power plant and in Tanhuas' world is by making the time machine.
In each of the two other worlds Adam and Eva fight for their separate reasons to keep their world alive/ return to normalcy. So the possible relaity in Tanhaus' world are: Jonas and Martha saves Tanhaus' family from the car crash and one where they don't and evantual apocalypse (Schrödinger's cat thought experiment). So this can also be an indefinite loop of sorts. Wherein his family dies, he makes the machine, Jonas and Martha comes and saves his family (in one) and where all the fuckedup shit goes on (in the other): The casual loop paradox and Grandfather paradox of time travel where every cause has an action.
Jonas and Martha can come to Tanhaus' world (Schrödinger's cat experiment) because they are observers (who can open the box to see whether the cat is dead or alive), as in they are not yet born in Tanhuas' world (as you rightly say they are the glitches in matrix of time). Hence they come, save the car crash but then dissipate within time because they don't belong to that world yet, just like all other characters which weren't shown on dinner table (as they were made of incest/ otherwise due to endless loop of time travel).
Also Tanhuas' must have had made the machine because that's what lead to him writing the book on time. This book was taken by members in both Eva and Adam's world (we see middle aged Jonas and older Claudia handing the book to Tanhaus in seasons 1 and 2, in Adam's world and most probably Claudia did so in Eve's world as well). Hence the book was there in the two other world where they use their respective version of Tanhuas to make the machines in their respective worlds (bootstrap paradox: wherein Tanhaus in both Eve and Adam's world makes the machine without ever having knowledge of it, basically frauding it as the blueprint was handed to him). Although in Tanhuas' original reality (where his family is saved as per his motivation), he does save his family by inventing the time machine but he would have no idea of it courtesy the glitches (Jonas and Martha).
But does Jonas and Martha live ever in any world? Maybe. Maybe not. The version of each other they see while inside the time travel loop is from their own respective worlds, which may or may not exist depending on them preventing/ not preventing the car accident. Martha was born to Ulrich and Katarina. Ulrich won't exist further because he was born out of incest/ time travel characters whambam. Pregnant Hannah in season finale (Tanhuas' world) wants to name her baby Jonas but maybe it's different Jonas (not sure). Katarina and Hannah both exist. So if Hannnah maybe give birth to a Jonas then *maybe* a Martha will be born too. Even Jonas said so afterall in ending scenes. Haha. The dialouge that steals my heart "you and I are perfect for each other, never forget that". Also I would like to believe in Tanhaus' dimension a baby Martha is also to be born because only those could enter this dimension who weren't part of the system. So if Jonas could travel and is to be born (although originally his father was Mikkel/ Michael), then maybe Martha too (although her original father was Ulrich), as both their moms are still very much alive and not part of the system. Well what we know is all worlds are bound to same fate no matter what. It may happen sooner or later but it shall happen, the course of time is set. In Adam and Eva's world a lot of characters born out of time travel incest were probably born earlier than they should have, so although if not in final scene, will be born later for sure. Hence the belief, Jonas was anyways to be born in original course and so will Martha but just not out of time travel incest. If they are born at an age where they can romance will be a mystery. Although because of all the fuckedupnes that has happened the deja-vu shall remain for both of them! As per me gene composition has nothing to do with romancing/ finding your partner.
In the end: What is time? Who are we? Who am I? Am I alive or just a matter floating in space? Questions I may think while I dream! But then snap.. I wake up or do I? Is it still a dream or is this an illusion?

for 1. because she figures out who's a product of time travel and who isn't. she figures out regina is born of another father, not tronte. the nuclear disaster doesn't happen near regina and claudia, so regina doesn't get cancer. tronte doesn't mistake regina for his daughter so he doesn't murder her. I don't know for 2. some people theorize she's the dead wife of heinrich tannhaus who wanted to bring his wife Charlotte back from the dead

They spent 25 episodes showing lack of free will and determinism. And in the last episode boom the loop can be broken.
And then they added that tunnel scene to create ambiguity. Why does older self of Jonas and Martha remembers seeing someone when they were child. This clearly tells us that this has happened before.
While one might argue they kind of went to the past (through the tunnel) and when returned they now have memories of seeing someone as they already changed the past. But this directly contradicts with the rules they have set.
Also the Ending is a clear violation of the Grandfather paradox. Which can only be solved by alternate timelines or Quatanum Superposition of Universes which I think is the most suitable ending.

There was a scene where Jonas couldn't kill himself because his older self exists. The same logic should apply in the origin world as well right? • @thecaveofculture

      @Crydus 4 года назад +11

@@jonascherif2097 I don't think, that it is necessarily an endless loop. - It was always meant to be exaclty like this. When origin Tannhaus started the machine, he instantly created the whole for Jonas and Martha - the end of this world is also the beginning of the world where Marek and his family never died.
So when Tannhaus destroyed the prime world he technically just destroyed the time between the death of Marek and the activation of the machine.

Actually when you travel to another world during the apocalypse, the time gets paused for you. And Eve has been using this loophole to preserve the sphere. Point to be noted, you can only travel between worlds during the apocalypse or in the presence of Higg's Field. So when Origin trio or anyone else travels between worlds, the time gets paused for them. Same is for Jonas and Martha in the final episode. When they traveled during the apocalypse, the time gets paused anything minor they do won't change anything. The time was also stopped when they were traveling to the Origin world together and it was still paused when they were in the Origin world. The major change was the prevention of the accident. It was such a major event change that whenever the time will be resumed, both worlds will cease to exist. Therefore, as soon as the accident was prevented and they Marek and Sonja returned home, Jonas and Martha disappeared inspite of the existence of their older selves. Hope you understand.

This is the grandfather paradox. You cannot go back and kill your grandfather because then you wouldn’t exist and hence you can’t go back and kill your grandfather. It negates the presence of time travel. So there is a world that already has time travel then maybe there’s a way to bypass the paradox?!
Anyway research already has an explanation for this paradox. The solution is that due to quantum superposition there’s half a probability that you kill your grandfather, and half where you don’t. Maybe the makers went with the probability where you can kill your grandfather, here of course the grandfather is the invention of time travel .

Q6: And still would have liked for Regina and Aleksander / Boris to have ended up together in the Origin World. They were the only couple of the whole series that treated one another with love and kindness.
Q19: And let's not forget that Claudia knows all she knows because she's the only one smart enough to not lie to and manipulate her younger self. Both Adam and Eve repeat time and time again that it took them 66 years to understand. Claudia had a lot more time because unlike them, she allowed herself to learn :)
Q24: That's an interesting take on Agnes!! I sort of was half hoping that she would just chill and look up Doris, mostly because Claudia tells her something like "my mother really loves you, she would make you really happy" or something like that. And because she would deserve it after being married to the creepy trio!! But i certainly don't think that's what Adam had in mind when he sends her off, so it's a cool theory!!
I still have one question, which is from when did Hannah travel with Silja? Can't remember the exact year she arrives in, but it has to be in the 1910s. There's no 33 year period that can match, since she got pregnant in 1954, Silja looks about 5 (give or take a couple). Maybe Eva actually took her there? I also have trouble figuring out how Egon get to 2052 in the alt world.
I like your take on the whole issue of constantly asking for answers about things that were placed there either to lead in a different direction or to build character. There's one thing I wish they had developed more, which is what happened between Ines and Hannah after Michael killed himself. We saw that torn picture so many times!

What @Anthony James suggests is that after that last time we see her is when she actually has Tronte. Great video, thank you for clearing up some stuff I had questions about! However, there are some things that still confuse me:
    1) How did the initial cycles right after the split of the original reality actually go and how did they become a loop without Adam, Eva or old Claudia to manipulate others?
    2) How does the reality in which alt Martha rescues Jonas exist if nothing stops Eva in her reality from sending Bartosz for Martha 100% of the time and thus eliminating Adam from existence EVERY TIME. The whole situation is explained by Schrodinger's cat: the two realities exist simultaneously, not interchangeably (like if Martha saving Jonas in one loop triggered Eva sending Bartosz in the next one and that triggered Adam to send Martha to save Jonas and not go with Bartosz and so on). But why is that the case if Eva sends out Bartosz every time? Where (or rather when lol) is he when Martha saves Jonas?
    3) Why does Eva need to timetravel by using the apocalypse if she already has a time machine which is more effective than Adam's since it can bring you whenever, not just 33 years in time? And if Eva and her team were using the moment of apocalypse frequently, how did they not learn about the original world from this blue tunnel where timelines come together? Plus, since it is the moment when you can change fate, there is a chance they would create a bunch of other realities that could potentially screw up the cycle Eva was trying so hard to maintain.
    4) How do the cycles end in the timeline where Claudia doesn't come to Adam? If he understands that killing the origin does not solve the problem, why does he not try to go back and persuade Jonas from becoming himself? Why go to Eva and kill her?
    5) Why is Claudia, in a cycle where everything goes as usual, still able to change it by coming to a conclusion that she has never come to before? The fact that she is able to kill alt Claudia suggests she has done it every time (otherwise time wouldn't allow it to happen), then why didn't she break the loop sooner?
This brings me to a theory which makes sense in my head (you are welcome to disagree). There had not been millions of previous cycles in which the characters gradually changed the events that led to the loop we have seen in the show, the original world split into 2 realities already as loops, in each of which Claudia comes to Adam at the end (although it is contradicted by Eva's words about her young self finding her body after Adam kills her idk).
At its core, even the original universe is part of a loop: if Jonas and Martha save Tannhaus's family, he doesn't build a time machine, thus the universes of Jonas and Martha are never created and they can't save his family. A paradox.

    • @thecaveofculture
      @thecaveofculture  4 года назад +6

      Thanks for watching!
      1) The universes came into being as they are with the cycle already going
      2) She cannot eliminate Adam from existence because he exists. Same reason why Noah can't shoot him.
      3) This is a simple answer but: Why waste the god particle fuel and use the time machine if you have the big ball of god particle right there? lol
      4) I would imagine he keeps trying to achieve his goals but fails. Or maybe Claudia kills him at that point. This is a good question. However, I wouldn't call it a plot hole just something that would have been cool to know. I would imagine the creators would like us to question whether there was anymore than one cycle as well though. So not revealing what happens was a conscience choice i feel.
      5) I think she does kill alt claudia every time. She then goes and tries to unravel the knot. Failing many times but passing a little information on to her younger self. then eventually she has enough info to break the cycle.
      Final point about the paradox.
i believe that there are four worlds:
      Origin
      Prime and Alt
Origin - Post Jonas and Martha saving the day
The worlds were real. They had there time and now they are destroyed to create this new Origin world.

Yes the show seems to suggest Agnes has to give the newspaper clipping to Claudia (who then gives it to Agnes before her death).
There was a part before older Claudia is killed and she gives the newspaper cutting to Agnes. Claudia says something like - "my mother will make you happy" ... anyone else remember that? So maybe Agnes goes back to the 1950s and lives with Doris (and Tronte?). Or they run away together. And Claudia stays with her father.

I appreciate your feedback. However, I make videos to give my opinions and analyse TV and film. That includes talking about how they are perceived and discussed. I can see what you mean and I feel you are right that my video might have a wider appeal if I left that part out. I respect that.
On the other hand, I wanted to make the point. So I did. I don't think there is any way other than sounding a little bit condescending when expressing an opinion such as this. When making a RUclips video that people will watch you need to come across as a voice of authority on a subject, in a way. You wouldn't watch someone who comes across as if they don't know what they are talking about. So unfortunately, I feel sounding a little condescending to some people is going to be an unwanted byproduct of making an impassioned point that is divisive. Having said that, thank you for the comment, I will keep this in mind when making videos in the future and try to avoid any shred of a patronising tone.

How do in Alt world Jonas took Martha thorough the cave and they land up in the future? The cave portal was created in both worlds in 1986 so it could only go 33years back and forward. How does Eve world cave then go to future 2050s time?

    • @raymondlaspina7870

      Maybe the cycle in Eva's world is 1986, 2019, 2052. And not 1953, 1986, 2019 like in Adam's world.
That explains why Ulrich ended in 1986 and not 1953 in the alt world.

No the cave doesn't take you to multiple of 33years it is established in the series. Next in Eve world the cave to work in behind 1986 n ahead 2052 the portal should have been created in 2019 ! But that is impossible as the portal was created in 1986 in both worlds and that's how it came to be in the first place. So these answers doesn't solidify anything. It's a loophole in the series

Nice one. One hint about the pronounciation, i noticed it with Helene, but it also would apply to Helge, Tronte, Jantje, Porsche etc.: German has no silent vowels at the end of words. If there's an E, it's fully pronounced ;) Of course you're pronouncing the names in an English manner, but this is one detail i would like people to get right, as it otherwise basically alters the name. Another hint: Bartosz, some make "Bar-toes" out of that (argh), but "Bar-toss" is still not right, it's "Bar-tosh". Let's end on a positive note, your "Martha" is spot-on! :)

I think this is because there were 2 versions of them.
When they were in the cave and the original world H.G. Tanhaus activates the machine and creates the Adem and Eve world than time stands still for a moment. This is the only moment anybody could make choses without time interfering. So its like with Schrödingers cat, alive and dead at the same time or with jonas who gets saved vs. Jonas who didn't get saved by other world Martha.
2 different reality's in the same space excisting at the same time.
This because you could make different choses at the same time.
      (Mindfuck)
So the one version of Jonas and Martha saved Tanhaus son, grandchild and daughter in law while the other reality of Martha and Jonas didn't thus they don't brake the cycle and still excist.
So they brake the grandfather paradox but at the same time they don't...so i think time itself was like...yup imma head out now
This is my theorie after watching season 3 one time and thinking long and hard about it afterwards haha...i will watch it again next week and than think some more.

@@arneverlinde5910 I thought same at the first but Jonas is alive in the main world by going into the basement in one reality and becomes Adam and in the other he is saved by Martha of the other world and dies. So this happened due to QUANTUM ENTANGLEMENT when the time stands still for a moment. So there has to be one more reality in which he gets saved by Adam and saves the family of the clock-maker. So there are three realities now but this will not work because it breaks the rule of quantum entanglement as quantum entanglement works in pairs. So we have to strike out one of the realities but all the three realities are necessary to the plot.(MINDFUCK)
      So what now?

But you are right about the quantum entangelment and comming in pairs (acting like i know everything about the most complex subject that excist) though in episode 7; its the beginning of the epsiode were Tanhaus is explaining to us via his talkshow about shröders cat. At the end he posed the question about how many reality's there could excist next to eatch other. Go back and look/listen again...he is hinting at endles reality's with endles outcomes.🙂

This was really interesting, and definitely clarified a few things. I love the Rugrats analogy. I did come across someone online yesterday wondering whether Jonas ever showers.
    I have a few issues:
I completely agree that the Sic Mundus photo, apart from the characters we know, are just "people who lived in that time," but I don't understand why you're still insisting that's Erna. Erna has a differently-shaped and much lower hairline, and a fuller, rounder face. And if she was a member of Sic Mundus she wouldn't have been surprised by Jonas turning up and asking about the year. She doesn't seem intellectually-inclined, and I think she's pretty busy keeping the inn.
And there's no hint in the actual series that she's involved in Sic Mundus. Every other character who is involved in Sic Mundus is very clearly revealed to be involved, because we see them either working with Adam or at Sic Mundus headquarters.
I also don't understand how the random man in the back is "foreshadowing for the Tannhaus family." He's clearly not in charge - the man at the front is (Adam). And he doesn't look like the Tannhauses we know. He's just some random dude standing in the back. I think you have to let go of your old theories. I know it hurts.
Also, if the official family tree indicates that Hermann Albers is Katharina's father, it's canon, so it's not "safe to assume" there's another "Hermann Albers" who's "an older relative of Helene's who got her pregnant." It is safe to assume she was abused at 12, but we don't know by whom, and it's unlikely she was abused by the same person when she was about 29, resulting in the birth of Katharina. It's more likely she kept the next baby because it was the product of her marriage. There's no way we can assume Katharina was the "only true product of incest in the show," since we have no idea what relation Helene was to Hermann.
He could have been a cousin (not legally regarded as incest in Germany), or a second or third cousin, or some guy with the same last name, or someone who - like Alexander Tiedemann - took his wife's last name, for whatever reason.
And finally if Peter's mother was a prostitute Helge visited, why would she even know which of her clients was Peter's father, let alone remember it on her deathbed? I just don't think we have anywhere near enough information to conclude that.
Just because Helge was intellectually impaired and a bit reclusive doesn't mean he didn't have a partner at some point. Maybe his dad married him off to someone and it didn't work out.
Otherwise though, great video, and I completely agree that we need to accept that some things don't matter as much as we might have thought they did, and we didn't need to see absolutely everything. We know, for example, that Agnes and the Origin hooked up. We don't really need to see it, because eww.
I found the ending really satisfying.

I definitely have to let go of my old theories haha and oh boy does it hurt. I will forever think in my headcanon that that guy is HG's father.
You've misunderstood me. I don't think there was another Hermann Albers. I think it is the same one. Do you think the writers just made them have the same last name for no reason? I fully get that if it was real life we couldn't assume that she was a product of incest but I would say that it definitely points that way if the writers decided to give fictional parents the same name, while also showing us that is the woman's maiden name. It's absolutely fine though if you assume differently!
Well I would imagine if I was female and a prostitute and had someones baby I would definitely want to find out more about them. Just because Peter didn't know doesn't mean the mum didn't. Also, I made sure to say with that one that it was what i tell myself because I know there isn't enough evidence for it.
I agree about the Agnes and Origin thing lol I mean Agnes with her great great granny was enough haha
      Thanks for watching!

This made me think (not too hard, of course). You said it's mentioned that French scientists were the ones who discovered the world stopped momentarily after the apocalypse. What if the French Delegation in the 1980's timeline was trying to tell Claudia about the potential for the world stopping during nuclear disasters? And then in the 2050's timeline they are being hanged for trying to do the same thing? Maybe someone knows. It would be interesting.

  • @waltergro9102

Regarding Helge's father: In 2019 Charlotte remarked that Helge is 75 years old. Therefore he was born 1943/44. He was conceived not later than in the beginning of 1944. Soviet forces entered small parts of Germany first at the end of 1944. Only in 1945 the Soviets invaded larger parts. Thus the mentioned Anatol Veliev was hardly a Soviet soldier and the procreation of Helge wasn't by rape related to the Soviet invasion. Most probably Anatol Veliev (German form, not the Russian form Anatoli) was a Russian exile who fled from Bolshevism to Germany and remained there. Greta had an affair with him but it was not motivated by love and Helge's procreation wasn't intended, at least from her point of view.

I still don’t understand when and how In Adam’s and Eve’s timeline they were able to discover each other’s world.
Who discovered the other’s world first?
I do understand the 2 different timelines of Jonas and Martha.
However, why would Adam instruct Magnus and Franzika to send Martha to save Jonas?
This instruction is what leads to the creation of origin. Then Adam ends up killing Martha and the origin. Also Jonas ends up dying in Eve’s world all due to Adam’s instruction. Although Adam must not know this fact or does he?
If Adam didn’t send alt Martha to rescue Jonas, the origin would never be created and Jonas would not of be shot by Martha. Therefore it doesn’t make any sense for Adam send alt Martha to rescue Jonas.
So what was his motivation for sending alt Martha if he wanted to end everything and preventing the creation would have done so?
In the other timeline, Jonas goes to the basement and the origin is never created. This is due to Eve sending Bartaoz to stop Martha from saving Jonas. Eve wants the origin to be created and keep the loop going.
So why would Eve instruct Bartoz to stop her from rescuing Jonas?
It would make more sense if Eve sent Martha to rescue Jonas with the motive of creating the origin. It would also make more sense if Adam sent Magnus & Franzika to stop alt Martha from saving Jonas as that would prevent the creation of the origin.

It's been explained by Eve when young Martha asks her Jonas is still alive in Prime world.. she says "there are dualities to everything either u do it or don't do it.. 2 sides to a line.. inner and outer, but they both somehow leads to the same point in line.." !!
Adam sends Magnus n Franziska to bring Martha to pick up Jonas.. after a turn of events when Martha comes to prime world he takes her captive to kills her nd the origin.. this specific event has to be stopped by Eve, so she sends Bartoz to stop Martha from saving Jonas nd bringing him to Alt world..
U can also say.. stopping Martha wud stop her from conceiving.. nd letting Martha wud kill her.. but these 2 events r 2 sides of a line.. they lead to the same point !!

Eva knew that you could split the timelines during the apocalypse, Adam didn't. That's why Adam thought he had the "real" Alt-Martha captive and that killing her would end the cycle, while he actually just had a copy of her.
Eva knew about the possibility to split the timelines and used that for her advantage.
