3 Reasons To Buy One | Suzuki Access 125 FAQ #2
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 13 авг 2023
- Three things we love about the Suzuki Access 125. First, how it goes. While the Activa, India's largest selling family scooter, focusses deeply on practicality and utility, we love that the Access does that thing but without losing a sense of verve. It's quick to accelerate, is actually fun around corners (unexpected, unnecessary but so welcome!) and it feels both competent and enjoyable which is a huge win in our books. Second, how it's made. Suzuki makes some of the highest quality two-wheelers in the Indian market and it's true that their higher prices, especially for the bikes, do hamper their sales. But the Access is both high quality and competitively priced. Three, while the game has moved on, the Suzuki's always been generous with underseat storage and the floorboard. It's no longer the winner on these counts, but it does this well enough and that combines really well with our first point. It's almost as if Suzuki built a sleeper from the factory itself!

Man loved that sleeper quote 😂
You really nailed it with that
What does that mean
faster in performance than its outside appearance would suggest
I have driven this for 10k km trust me its the best scooty
you had me till the 'scooty' part
Its not scooty. Scooty is a model by TVS. TVS scooty.
Owned the 1st generation access. Its torque on paper is misleading. Pulls like a beast. Sharp handling and superb braking
. Having both access and activa of the same year of make at home, it was never hard to choose. Riding the activa was like riding a hippo in compared to the access. It returned more mileage as well. Weighed significantly lesser. True back then , true today as well. I still don't understand why activa is the best selling scooter. The new gen access has better engine refinement that the activa.
Thank you for sharing this. That's true.
I have both generation of Suzuki access,
But now mainly uses ola S1 pro ,
But when the charge is low
I use access , still access pick up works like a charm..
Put a smile on my heart
Just got it today! I am so satisfied its fast, quick, comfortable.
Congratulations @omdeshkar4290. Glad to hear it.
Cons:
1. Mirrors are useless
2. Headlights are useless
3. No pass beam switch
4. No rear brake lock
5. BT connectivity was unavailable for iPhones when we bought it (realised later and regretted)
6. 10" rear wheel which hops a bit
7. Key unlock for the external fuel filler cap.
Pros:
1. Extremely peppy. Which is surprisingly
2. Excellent fuel economy
3. Despite being light, the stability at higher speeds is unbelievably good
4. Refined
5. Good practicality
6. Braking is good too!
7. Handling is surprisingly good too!!
8. Matte finish looks classy (personal preference)
Hey what do you think about the new activa 7g & 125?
@@nikhilvijay6022 avoid Honda, man. Trust me. I'm not a big fan of the Access but it's just way better
@harshaokin8064 ok I am looking for a low maintenance & reliable scooter. I am not looking for outright performance. Which scooter do you think might be suitable?
@@harshaokin8064Aerox is best BTW😅
@@harshaokin8064 Bro I am thinking to buy Jupiter 125. How is it??
It is also comfortable on speedbumps and potholes as compared to TVS N-Torque..
The sleeper tag works perfectly for the bs4 access
What does that mean
@@-humsafar looks standard but is really fast the bs4 version could actually keep up with an ntorq
@@freakypruthula oh thanks man
My 1st Access lasted for 5years and 15,000 km after which the engine needed overhaul. Also noticed the same life in many other 1st gen Access
Thanks for letting us know!
My wego was bought in 2011, still feels peppy, fuel economy not so much, stable on higher speeds, and it's engine never needed an overhaul. Your access needed overhaul in just 5 years?😂 maybe you didn't take good care of it by regular oil changes 🤔
Access is one of the best scooters in the market.
Please do a video on Honda Dio 125 (using both the variants - Standard and H smart)
My father bought Access in 2011, my wife bought one in 2015, we sold the 2011 model in 2018 and bought the 2nd gen Access in March 2018. So in short, I have been an Access 125 user since 2011.
Although it's good but consider these points before buying it -
1. Its suspensions are HARD, pretty hard. You'll feel every undulation on the road as if you're riding a bicycle. The seat is firm but lasts long.
So, it's excellent on the highway and is butter smooth in high speeds.
2. The 2nd generation Access is very lightweight (103kgs) and that results in it being thrown up all the time and causes a lot of discomfort unless you have it heavily laden.
3. The 2nd gen model is quite tall. Riders below 5'5" might find it problematic to use and their feet wouldn't reach the ground properly.
4. Battery, pathetic to say the least. The 2018 model's battery had to be changed in 2019. Paid for it as well.
5. Fibre parts. All fibre parts of the 2018 model are now broken or have to be replaced. Headlight unit makes noise, dashboard broke, footboard side panels broke, accessories from the dealer are misaligned.
6. The quality of switches isn't upto the mark. All three of my scooters have almost all their original switches changed.
These are the only ones and pretty serious drawbacks of the scooter which I observed in all my years of usage.
So,
If your priority is comfort, go for Jupiter.
If your priority is mileage, go for Access.
If you want an all-rounder, go for Activa.
If you want a looker on the road, go for Destini.
Thanks.
🙏🙏🙏

@@mrbishop5539 Test ride is the key my brother.
I have been using Access 125 since 2011 and now I've made my sister buy the Jupiter 125.
I'd recommend the same to you too as I found that scooter to be better for my own family.
Rest depends on what YOU WANT from a scooter. Test ride the different options and find out for yourselves that which one suits your requirements the best.

Guys confused between activa 7g activa 125 new model. Is 125 worth the extra money?
Love your work❤
Please bring a FAQ on Activa
True sleeper scooter . 100% agreed
Have to agree with you about the quality of bikes by suzuki. They are top notch
Best and to d point review ❤
Thank you Dominic.
Please bring a FAQ series of jupiter 125 love your work ❤
Bought Acess 125 bt model last year and till date complete almost 14000 km . Best in performance and mileage. Always maintain the service on time to get the better results.
I would agree the line where shumi says 'suzuki has made sleeper out of showroom '💯💯💯
While suzuki access/avenis is better than activa, its seat height may not be suitable for ladies which is higher than activa. If that is not a problem definitely suzuki as it has better in refinement, power and mileage than activa.
Access height is lesser than avenis and burgman and good for ladies.
Never buy, I have three in the family all of them have engine problems, or be ready to pay 30000 every e years for the engine makeover
@@BrijrajJadeja007 never buy which vehicle?
@@BrijrajJadeja007true , my sister has a Suzuki access which is 5 years old and after 4 years it's engine caused a issue which required opening the engine , which cost us 20-25k . I have a 8.5 years old Activa 3G which has ran 16,000 kms but hasn't caused any issue despite many major accidents.thus the best seller tag
Suzuki access 125 is kind of a worse purchase, it doesn't have a usable petrol tank. One full tank will only last for around 150 to 160 km than you have to rush into a petrol ⛽️ pump, unless your full injectors will be damaged. Tank shape and full capacity is made like a last thought . When there is plenty of space is available then they should have at least put bigger tank of 10L .
Owner of access125 bs3 since 7 years ❤
Bro aphi conditions kesi hain please tell me
Still running good @@mrbishop5539
I have a Access 125 since 2011, it still works like a young horse
how about Jupiter 125 quality and reliability sir? is it good ? How it is coil start mechanism and other electronics equipment are good and reliable like Access, burgman sir?
Proud to own one
I love suzuki vehicles
Most I like in access is it's exhaust sound
I like mine but that external tank filler cap has the tendency to get stuck needing wd40 every third day. Apparently it's a design flaw and everytime you want it fixed, you have to replace the whole assembly along with the ignition. Furthermore, parts for it are hard to find meaning third party mechanics can't do much.
Point number 2 - quality... You are terribly mistaken brother... I run a multi brand two wheeler garage and after having worked upon most scooters, I can confirm that Access is one of the worst quality scooters currently running in the country... Points 1 and 3 are definitely true though
Shumi simply sees brand name and say it's quality products. He doesn't know issues everybody facing BS6 and garbage 2 wheelers chuned out by indian and japanese manufacturers
Which scooter are generally good then?
@@cricketIndia101 If reliability is your top priority, go for Yamaha scooters... But you will have slight compromises with regard to practicality like a smaller boot, lesser floor board space etc
@@cricketIndia101obviously it's 😊Activa
Guys I am confused between Activa 7g & Activa 125. Any suggestions?
Also between Activa, Jupiter & Acess which is the most reliable & practical machine. Don't care a lot about new features & raw performance.
Owning since 2017 it's not a like common all two wheeler scooters are it's way more fantastic you are always feel happy whenever you ride it average is excellent even 110 scooters are failing to give that average without comprising on power torque is still best compared to any scooter's build quality is phenomenal its mostly parts are fiber but the fiber quality is far better it will clock above 50000 kms but the grunt is still the same suspension is on stiff side but that's why it handles like no other scooters can do it average is 40-45 in city and on highways it will given mi 52-55 with pillion
Thanks for sharing @pratiikkjagtap923! Glad to hear from an owner.
2018 access owner here, the indicator switch quality is not good I got one replaced and few months later the new one is having issues. The battery on the access didn't last long and it had to be replaced as it was not able to charge.
Thanks for letting us know @sandy99797. Sorry to hear that.
Make videos about the amazing tvs jupiter 125
Please make a video about Suzuki Burgman 125 too, I feel it's a very underrated scooter, for a little increase in price u get a little more space and very good design and looks (ik it's subjective bt still) without comprising that sweet engine. Basically for extra price it feels a lot premium too.
I wouldnt say its underrated. Every other chapri in Hyderabad seems to own one
The engine is actually a compromise for what is suggested as a maxi scooter, and so are other components like the brakes and wheels.
The only downside of Burgman I feel are the undersized wheels and tyres. It deserves a more powerful 150cc Engine.
Burgman looks burg but it's not man enough. It should get 200cc +
Suzuki access mostly stylish scooty, a quality of made Suzuki 👌.
I have a question - Whenever I try to engage in a conversation with any of the mechanics.... Maybe it be Delhi, Kerala or Hyderabad.... I am getting more or less the same response that Suzuki access is:- not a easy to repair, not reliable and expensive to maintain!....... I'm confused 🤔.... Online forum say that it's most reliable whereas everyone I meet in real life tells me to stay away from Access. What's happening?
Exactly bro im also confused with same thing 😢
Hey same confusion. Any thoughts regarding Activa 125 & 7g. Considering those 2 options as well
Just ask around your neighborhood. Pay them for lunch or coffe and talk about access ownership regarding servicing and parts maintenance costs
Thought of buying it, then changed my mind due to the puny 10 inch rear wheel
Sir Tell About TVS Jupiter 125 Iam Love TVS Brands But I Should Know Ur Opinion About That🙏
Also, It looks like a Scooter,
😂😂😂
Best petrol scooter ive owned ,though mine was an older model that engine is solid...
Thanks for letting us know Rakesh!
Why brake parking lever is not not provided in the mid level , disc variants ? Can anyone explain
Not even pass light 😢 . Both these features were really necessary for safety.
I love suzuki access 125❤❤❤❤
♥️
Access 125 is 😮💨🔥
Access is a scooter whereas activa 110 is a kind of scooty...and access drives well. Looks are good kind of Urban Retro design theme. Overall a good one. Activa is a overhyped one or we can say 'Herd mentality' factor is working in its favor...
I'm the owner of SUZUKI ACCESS 125 (HELICOPTER) 2012 MODEL SHE IS UNIQUE.
Agree, Suzuki makes the best quality products. I think the issue is with poor workmanship while working with Suzuki products. As mechanics are used to working with Honda products.
Service definitely seems to be their pain point @zubairsyed23.
With a 6 month battery damaging technology 😅 high spare parts cost and a jerking vehicle after 30k km run..
Sir please review honda cb350 hiness
And they make the side panels of fibre… what quality?
Small rear tyre to help in sleeping at rainy days

What about the avenis 125? How would you rate that compared to the others in the segment
It's just a sportier looking Access.

Do one on burgman
Don’t see any comparison videos with Vespa 125 bs6. Anything coming in future? Don’t mind spending 40-45k but is it worth spending extra?
I don’t see any reviews on Vespa in general either. Looks like policy to not share vehicles for review, which may open can of worms 🙂 Thoughts?
No test bikes to be had - we've asked.

Pls review Suzuki burgman
Then why majority of the sales guys in Suzuki dealership in my city using Jup125?... I was shocked when I visit both the Suzuki dealerships in my city, those guys were using the new Jupis...
I bought Access last week. and the showroom owner was using the new Jupiter 😂

Also between Activa, Jupiter & Acess which is the most reliable & practical machine. Don't care a lot about new features & raw performance.
Dio 125 ??
Hi, can you please compare it with new jupiter 125?
Jupiter with its increased storage under seat and good performance, is, i think a good opponent.
Noted @APNaik.

Where is hand break??
Here in the hilly areas the access 125 have a dangerous flaw, which is the brakes; it heats up too easily which results in lots of brake failure.(other scooters dont have this issue). Every access owner i know have faced this issue at least 2-3 times.
Really? This is the first we're hearing of this. Which year Access od you have HHH?
@@motorinc I dont currently own one anymore. I live in Mizoram where we have very steep hills, and the brake failure occurs mainly on the steeper roads(going down)while riding with pillion for more than 1-2kms continuously. But most have got around it by never releasing the brake.😂(If you let go of the brakes while its hot and try to reapply, the brakes dont work anymore).

Headlight is dull
Thanks for letting us know, Manu!
Unfortunately, Suzuki's build quality has toppled down drastically. I own an intruder and it's fiber body has broken in pressure points without experiencing any falls or accidents
It drinks engine oil after couple of kilometres

Help me to choose between access Activa and Jupiter which one to pick in 125cc catagory
Our pick would be the Access @vinayak5400
Access is best in these three but if you want a low budget best quality you can go with hero destini 125
Only one reason to not get one is for the small wheels... Indian roads are pothole plagued
Sir I think some scooters sell too much just because of their names.
Access has issues of spares parts...and ask any garage owner...it has long maintenance issues
Readily available in all suzuki showrooms for the access. There are too many of them on road
Next about avenis
Can do!

These things has starting troubles..my own one of these, and its a mess, sometime it will take 5 to 10 seconds to start, will automatically turn off while idling...and its the same for couple of my friends too..🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕
Service center guys replaced the part under the seat . It was doen under warranty.
Issue was resolved.
Let me know your issue .
It will get resolved as I had same issues .
Activa, dio are the best in terms of reliability and quality. If you want something different and not worried about the quality. Then go for another scooter. Ask any mechanic, they will tell you.

access quality is not that great. it look good first but quality is not. yes its fast. but not comfortable compare to activa whose center of gravity is lower than access and does not hurt your back
After owning an Access 125 BS3 for 7 years, I've got to say nothing feels as good for the price.
