    As a local I always see foreigners staying in condesa and la Roma; while they are the "safe" option they are a tiny fraction of what the city has to offer. Places like the cities centre or Coyoacán's centre are some recommendations, but I'm sure that the real gold is in the nooks and crannies of the city!

      No idea but my guess is most machines have built in softening/filtration systems. You won't (shouldn't...) get sick from the coffee/any drink with water in it

    Mexico don't have coffee culture! Honestly there's way to little places where you can get a good coffee. Mexicans just they know how to drink coke and cheap instant coffee. And the fancy ones just drink coffee at Starbucks. The cheapest one at convenience cheap store called oxxo. The cheapest copy of a 7 eleven. Probably the 1 of 20 persons in Mexico can drink a Espresso without adding sugar. They drink sugar with coffee.

      Thanks for watching. From my experience, Mexico City is up there with the best in terms of specialty coffee. I can't speak for the rest of Mexico or Mexican culture itself but I was impressed by CDMX and there were so many other shops I could've included

    • @ThePreppybear
      @ThePreppybear 2 дня назад

      @@withnathanmp mexico is not like Italy or France in coffee culture. Or Spain or turkey. Even Brasil and Colombia drink more coffee and way much better coffee than in mex, Not because there's some coffee shops in a certain place. It means that in all the country they do de same.

    Do they speak good english in these cafes? What is the best time to visit Mexico city? I do not like hot weather.

    • @withnathanmp
      @withnathanmp  3 месяца назад +2

      You can pretty much visit any time of the year because it’s so close to the equator (meaning consistent weather all year round). In the more touristy parts, staff know English. In less touristy, they may or may not. Either way, don’t let that stop you. There are many other ways to speak with someone other than language :) enjoy!
