Hey Kurt I just want to tell you, Don't listen to the negative comments The MT-09 is a naked bike, so it has good torque gear ratio and the engine is I3 While the CBR600RR is a sport bike designed for high speed and it has an I4 engine So don't worry mate, nice video too !
Launch was slow, i have mt 09, 2020 model n i know A mode, tcs 1 launches with 100 kph in first gear n u fly in second gear with quick shifter. Those who think A mode and tcs 1 has same power, try it 2020 model, may be u might be riding old model. Its awesome bike.
@@gabrielebenzo2475 h2r is just a track ready version of h2. H2 and h2r are very capable on the track or twisty roads but h2r is not street legal you can ride only on the track. Anyway they're not only a straight line bike and handle very nicely.

@@kris10annn14 throttle response ultimately decides the power output according to the rpm ain't it? So changing between the modes helps in preventing unwanted wheelies i guess!
If you flash the ECU you can unlock cool things like launch control and auto-warm up (the bike blips the throttle by itself), pretty cool and common on a lot of Yamahas

@@TheRealBhuado Yeah second hand bikes are worth it for sure, but the MT09 is quite different from a CBR1000RR and you could also get a decent deal on the used market, I dont see a point of directly comparing them, I think they are meant for different ridding styles. Although I would definitely love owning both of them some day...
CBR lost in acceleration due to that torquey beast of a MT-09. In top speed and most likely over 200km/hr the CBR would win. Also CBR600RR doesn't have launch control, so it's only up to the riders skill to determine if the race is close or not.
For those who dont know: changing driving mode only affects throttle response, not power!
