Not just a regular lopsided win. Lou Holtz was Minnesota's head coach, so a pounding like this is nice to look back on. Game played on November 16, 1985 in Minneapolis.
When you combine his running, passing, AND ability to pass on the run, Harbaugh is easily the best QB we've had in the past 45 years. Those two passes to Kattus and Jokisch in the third, especially the second, in full stride to his right, squaring his shoulders and then tossing a bullet to Jokisch between two defenders. Just unreal. Glad to see you're still at it, WH.
He passed on the run very effectively, even when he threw bombs. He could also run the option and had decent mobility for an athlete his size. He was probably the most "complete package" QB Bo had. Even though he's not the most popular, I think Drew Henson has probably been the most talented all around QB we've had in my lifetime. But Harbaugh is certainly close.
When Minny got on the board in the 4thQ, it was the first extra point scored against Michigan that season (in week 10). Wolverines gave up 2 TDs (vs. Wisc & Ind) to that point in season, but both teams missed the XP.
For mobility, Leach was better. But his passing left a lot to be desired, even as a senior. He could throw on the run, but not with Harbaugh's precision.
MSU is lucky that the their defensive lineman broke Harbaugh's arm in 1984 bc they would have lost that game and Michigan would have probably run the table - they were better than that overrated OSU team that got beat down by USC in the rose bowl

Gerald White was a damn good football player. So versatile.
Minnesota ran the same option offense that holtz loved at Arkansas.
I think the only person that comes close while in school would be Ricky Leach.

In 1984 and 85. The following year, he went to Notre Dame. And he's been the most insufferable Domer kiss ass ever since.
Wait a sec.....the Lou Holtz coached Minnesota?
