My favorite feature on Foodi In Airfryer mode...you check and it looks like you need to add or minus a couple minutes....no fear, just press the up or down arrows...hit start....amazing you can add or decrease minutes without restarting. I discovered this by accident.
Okay Jelly I did my wings tonight. They were not frozen and the wing and leg was attached. I did not have Franks dry rub so I created my own. Garlic powder, Spanish paprika, Chili powder, “Rub Some Chicken” poultry seasoning and Italian bred crumbs. Air Crisp for 15 minutes turned half way. I then added another 5 minutes. They were very large wings. My wife doesn’t like the hot so she got half like that. I tossed the rest in Franks Hot Sauce and Butter! About 2 tablespoon of butter really makes the hot sauce special! Served with a side of Ranch or Blue cheese dressing and celery.... Delicious 😋
I bought myself a Ninja Foodi cooker last Christmas and have made a lot of meals in it including cakes and cornbread. I don't like to cook but I have to eat and wanted to make my life simpler. The Foodi has proven to me that a meal can be cooked in a short time with excellent results. Today I am going to follow your instructions that are already in the Foodi cook book. I don't have Frank's Red Hot seasoning so I'm going to put my wings in regular buffalo sauce after they're done. On the side I'm having curly fries. I live in a small country town in South Carolina with two grocery stores and of course they sell wings and sauce. I've never cooked wings before so I'm eager to try it. Going to have sliced carrots and blue cheese dressing on the side. One of my favorite meals to cook in the Foodi is breakfast for dinner. I fry bacon using the air crisp feature, pour out the grease. I buy Pillsbury frozen southern style biscuits and bake two of those at 350 for 15 minutes then turn on the saute feature and cook scrambled eggs. The first time I made this meal I was amazed that everything turned out great. Oh and I don't use the basket or rack for cooking the bacon but I DO use the basket for the biscuits. Try it some time!
I totally agree with how well the Ninja does many many recipes, I have a double wall oven that recently went out, I cooked everything in my foodi except a few items I cooked in a toaster oven I have for months, I did go ahead and replace the oven but I am positive I could have made it without it, it is truly a game changing kitchen appliance...The breakfast you described sound excellent and I might just try that before long...thanks for watching!!!
Just stumbled upon your channel. Liked what I saw (especially the green and gold G on your shade). I subscribed and was looking for a wing recipe from frozen so will try this tonight. Thanks for your video.
I literally had to go check that video...LOL to make sure that was red and black G's you saw!! Lol...it is a great way to cook wings and it impresses me every time!! Thanks for watching and subscribing!!! Welcome aboard!!
I purchased my Foodi from Kohl's for $139!!! At that price, I am elated to try all these recipes that you are posting. I did the pork chops and they were GREAT! I also made some NY strips that were amazing. I'm doing wings today for the game! Keep posting!!
That is a good deal!! They are a little pricey at full retail but even at that I honestly think they are worth it...thanks for watching and trying my recipes!!
Try heating a pan on the stove fairly hot, after the wings are out of Foodie. Pour about 1/2 your sauce on the wings. After you have then covered them completely with the sauce, pour on the remaining sauce and shut the heat off immediately. Be sure to turn on the exhaust fan. The fumes can knock you out. This little trick will bring your wings to the next level of perfection!

Good looking chicken. I have the Ninja Foodi and love it. Next time instead of using the air fryer feature use the broil feature to 9 minutes flipping almost half way. It will put a nice crisp on the chicken wings. Also try adding BBQ sauce and the put in the broil feature.
But instead of using the air fry basket use the rack opens and closes and set it to the highest position to be closer to the heating element for the broil feature.
I didn't read the ingredients and no longer use that...all I use know ..pretty much...is avocado oil because it has such a high smoke point and I really like the flavor...or lack of flavor...lol...thanks for watching!
I have cooked a 2.5lb. Bag of raw frozen wings for 30 to 40 minutes depending on size of the wings on the Aircrisp setting only. I also preheated on Aircrisp for 5 minutes first per ninja cookbook recommendations. I sprayed olive oil on them when frozen and then I seasoned them halway through and flipped them around a couple times as well during the cook time. They were absolutely delicious, juicy inside and crispy outside. Tastes just like deep fried!! My favorite gadget so far. Bacon is amazing too on aircrisp, never need to flip. Pressure cooked korean bbq short ribs then aircrisp at end, taste just like it was grilled. :)
It is rarely used for its intended purpose, we are discussing removing it and I'm gonna miss it..it's been here for years and has been involved with many family gatherings acting as the buffet table...thanks for watching!
@@maz227 that is great to hear!!! It is a bullet proof recipe if you ask me!! I never woulda thought i could do wings that fast and that turn out as good as they do... and i deep fried them for years and these are really, really close.. thanks for sharing your results and for watching my video!!!
Seems so much easier to simply throw them in oil for 15-20 and be done. Too much messing around with these pressure cookers. Twelve minutes to get up to pressure, then 5 minutes to cook, dry, then brown, etc. With a deep fryer, one step, you throw them in and done in 15-20 minutes. Although unhealthy, but far easier and think they taste better. Thought this Ninja would be the answer, but no better than the others. I've tried all types of sauces and I still fall back to butter and red hot. Thanks for the demo!
The only reason for the 5 minutes under pressure is to thaw them. So it's better than deep frying good luck trying to deep fry frozen wings, dont do it please. Other than that its really the same as deep fry but you dont have to change any oil and its healthier.
Lol you fool 😂! I would love to watch you throw Frozen wings in hot oil! Talk about a mess, yeah so much easier. This is mostly set and forget. You really don't cook much do you methinks.

UGA IS THE TEAM GO DAWGS
Woof... Woof... Woof!!!!
Have you ever tried doing wings on the foodi with only the crisper lid?
No but I don't see why they wouldn't work.
Were the wings crispy?
Yes, I would say they were hands down the closest thing I've ever tried to deep frying
I must agree! I got off work on the night shift. I purchased at Kohl's. I followed this video and it's the truth. You'll love it!
Thanks again

It is rarely used for its intended purpose, we are discussing removing it and I'm gonna miss it..it's been here for years and has been involved with many family gatherings acting as the buffet table...thanks for watching!

Thanks! I made these wings today same as you did and they were excellent!
@@maz227 that is great to hear!!! It is a bullet proof recipe if you ask me!! I never woulda thought i could do wings that fast and that turn out as good as they do... and i deep fried them for years and these are really, really close.. thanks for sharing your results and for watching my video!!!
Go dawgs!!!
Sic 'em.. Woof! Woof! Woof!
Hahha guess who's having wings again??
Ain't nothing wrong with that!!!
Thanks for the demo!
cashxx except with the pressure cookers you can start cooking from frozen 🤷🏻♀️
The only reason for the 5 minutes under pressure is to thaw them. So it's better than deep frying good luck trying to deep fry frozen wings, dont do it please. Other than that its really the same as deep fry but you dont have to change any oil and its healthier.
Lol you fool 😂! I would love to watch you throw Frozen wings in hot oil! Talk about a mess, yeah so much easier. This is mostly set and forget. You really don't cook much do you methinks.
