I like japche and kimchi pancake too 😊 One of the best part of your videos is tha you always try to address the history related to the monuments or sculptures in roadsides or parks 👍👍👍
thanks! Yeah I love checking out monuments and memorials and that stuff and telling people what they're there for, but as you can see in the comment section, some people always jump to conclusions by me simply explaining what it's there for or even reading directly from a plaque that is posted outside for the public to see.
I think Mr. Nick obviously know the true color of Korea. I mean he literally went through the land and visit the local spots communicating with people and eating foods as well as seeing and breathing in the nature. I haven't experienced Korea as much as him, and I wonder how he felt about Korea and people. 😊
Thank you for the video, Nick and Macho Man! Sorry to see Macho Man moving on. I appreciate you clearly reading the 3.8 description out loud. The background scenes were stunning, and the placard behind you perfectly captured the vibe of that neighborhood party. And yes, Sungsimdang still seems insanely popular-no surprise there!
you're welcome! Yeah Nick T and I had a great time, I'm sure we'll link up again! Yeah seems like some people don't like me reading what the plaque says though. This kinda makes me think that's why they put the plaque facing the inside of the monument and not facing outward 🤔
I feel so sorry to learn that you left here, Daejeon City already, Nick. I wished to meet you here, informing you some historical notes about American troops taken their lives or as war prisoners. . . Do you know about the painful and humiliating history of Major General William Dean, who was the commander of the U.S. 24th Infantry Division during the Korean War? He was captured by North Korean forces while engaged in combat in Daejeon and was taken to North Korea, later being released after the war in a prisoner exchange. He was the highest ranking officer of the American troops taken as the prisoner of the war.~~
Nick! You are in my home town Daejeon now. I have watching your contents ever since you have arrived in Busan harbor. Anyway I’m glad for your discovering history of my town and enjoyed meal. Keep it up bro! By the way, the bike road where you ride along the creek was covered by concrete structure around central city area and polluted sewer water followed underneath for long time ago, maybe 30 or 40 years ago but city made that beautiful scenery for all kind of pedestrian. I’m really glad for their effort.
