Looks never really bothered me in music. I only cared about the music more than the looks and that's what matters. Taylor Swift, Toni Basil, Madonna, Beyonce, Olivia Rodrigo, Paula Abdul, Rihanna, J Lo etc are one of those artists that people had the hots for them back in the day but I never really cared for their music. And yes, looks can be more appealing than music but why focus on looks if you're not gonna marry them. And also what annoys me is how toxic their fanbases are. And apart from that a singer like Rihanna doesn't have a good personality and is very arrogant and egotistical into believing that she's a great singer because of all the fame she's been receiving.
I love Emma Hewitt, Lucy Saunders, Justine Suissa, Nadia Ali, Trixi Delgado and other female singers, and you don't see me simp for them. I love them not just for their looks (well it depends on who), I love them for their singing ability. Christina Novelli, I love her as a singer and I don't simp for her, and besides, Christina Novelli is bisexual and I don't care for her sexuality, I only care for her music.
Jennifer Lopez is a dancer who has minimal musicianship. She's popular mostly because of her looks. And, although Ariana Grande is an exceptional singer, she has a crummy personality. , Same with Camila Cabello.
