i used the same stage for the sake of the demonstration, there are actually 12 stages in R-Type Final, 16 if you consider the variations of the weather in stage 2 as different stages, not that bad of a number when comparing to other Shooter games

However there's total 102 ship (99 to unlock) and on the way to get all the ships, we are faced with repeated stage and some of the stage are to short (6.1 beautiful erasure). 16 type stage but 7 stage in a row. But i wish theres more. Like, for exampl when in our way to get 80th or even 90th ship but theres still some unlockable new stage.. wouldnt that be impressive.

Good point, plus one of the main ways of unlocking some ships is by playing for several minutes, which can be pretty long imo

@@gradiusiv6191 'Several' minutes?? Many ship require 30 or 60 or even 120 minutes of flight time using predecessor ship to unlock its successor ship. Example : 60mnt flight time of R-9AX2 to unlock R-Leo. And theres 99 ships to unlock!! Whitout a clue about what to do but floating at those 16 stages repeatedly.
I dont know why i love this game. Perhaps its story depth or its charming ship..
