Its simply a master piece in cinema history.....you cannot capture the feel of the time in this film with modern cameras...every thing is so perfect in this movie and yet it feels so chaotic ....the casting is perfect not just for the lead roles but for all the supporting roles as well ...locations...sets....you get totally sucked into the wild west....the camera angles....the sweaty grubby feel you get from tuco....angel eyes deadly elegance.....no other western even comes close up this film!

I saw this movie in the year 1970. Usually I will see all the cowboy movies in those days. But Good Bad Ugly was the famous movie because of musics. Humming . soldier story song and story in the desert. Stiil the musics are famous I am the fan of this movie and my Cell Phone Tone is Title music of Good Bad Ugly. This is the Record Breake movie in those days at Chennai.

The shots of Sergio hanging out of the helicopter framing up a shot was apparently from an aborted aerial shot of the final duel. Wind turbulence meant that he couldn't get the shot.
