I spent hours warping from system to system....the Echoes mission They Who Returned refuaes to pop for me. I took today off from work only to get frustrated. Hello Games makes update missions AUTOMATIC next time.
I'm amazed how they managed to insert a new race into the game, make them feel like they've always been there, and also make them current end-game content. It feels like the main story line is one huge introduction to the world of NMS like a first act to a story, and the autophages are the start of a second act that actually advances the plot (even though it currently ends abruptly). HG wasn't kidding when they said they're aiming to breathe new life into NMS since all of those ruins, drop pods and wrecks we've seen in the game since launch... turns out there's been invisible space robot wizards hanging around those places this whole time. It's fantastic.
I just want expeditions rewards to be available after the expeditions finished! Really tired of missing out on cool stuff of i cant dedicate time to fully complete the event. Hate timed event sh*t.🙄😒
Switch h NMS updated a day or two ago finally. I must say I am very happy with it. It fixed things that were keeping me from playing on the Switch. Capes and the ugly graphics were two very big deals for me. I was irked when I bought the game for the third time and it was so bad on Switch. I mean come on.. No capes before now? It took them a year to figure out how to get a cape to display? Just display for yourself and no multi-player on Switch but it took a year. It really looks like they purposely held stuff back to make the patches seem that much better. Don't do that Hello Games. Don't be Blizzard!
They really need to make this more difficult looking at the gameplay they need to do so that if you stop its basically a death sence as all the lasers can focus on you. This should be like some of the hardest milestones. Maybe only to be possible if you hire pilots or multiplayer. So far its just looks like a decoration that doesnt do anything
What are you talking about? The pirate freighter is hard. I lost the first two times, first time because I didn't understand what the torpedos did, and the second time because I focused too much on the torpedos that the pirates fled.
Yea but its not engaging no sense of loss. Like its only "hard" because there is so many little things to do. But it doesnt feel like a battle just do objectives in a timely manner. But it never feels like you are in danger. And speaking of immersion. This were suppose to feel massive. Its just the same old you vs a really big ship that doesnt do dmg. The civillian freighter doesnt even shoot back there is no fighter. Im convinced the squadron is just for decoration etc. Not hating but being real

downloaded the update and started a new game so far not much has changed.

There was an arg up to the next update, which was a 1.5 update, an arg up to a .5 update again may mean another “next” style update

To be fair, in this gameplay, I lost the battle because I didn't destroy the enemy fast enough. The victim was destroyed and the outlaw fled
