The ironic thing is media was pining for Tim Tebow to switch positions to tight end ever since college but now it's nepotism he tried out as tight end and didn't make the team.

Tim Tebow was a 2 time National Champion Heisman winner and Bronny was a scrub off the bench. Antonio Gates played college basketball and tried out as tight end in the NFL in training camp. He became a hall of famer.

    The new LeBron James' rule: if NBA's superstar son is a division 1 scholarship player, he can be draft no matter his stats and skill set.       The Lakers have invested hughe amounts of time, money & resources building the team around James. To the point they sold out the future of the team for years, maybe even beyond Lebrons retirement.

    FYI - Thanasis Antetekoumpo was DRAFTED by the Knicks. And when Giannis was averaging 6 ppg! He might have gotten drafted on potential (as most 2nd round picks do), but he was not given that job because Giannis was telling the Knicks to draft him.

Nothing like THIS has ever happened before. No athlete has ever held a franchise HOSTAGE like this to force them to use a DRAFT PICK and 8 million dollars to guarantee 1 of 15 roster spots on a team like the Lakers without even playing a single second in Summer League.     I will say your point on the Lori Loughlin scandal was a bad take. She and her husband pleaded guilty to commit wire and mail fraud when they were accused of paying $500,000 to get their daughters into USC. What they did was illegal. This is a different situation with Lebron and his son, the Lakers drafting Bronny was legal. Stupid, but legal. Different scenarios.

    The reason people have such a huge issue with THIS example of nepotism is because it’s LeBron James and it’s wide out in the open. People don’t know coaches and other staff members..they know players.
