Hi Chilly! Wanted to give you another thumbs up and sincere congratulations on your choice of illustrations and a very sincere heartfelt thanks for posting these episodes. I am about the most hardcore Mystery Theater fan you have ever met, outside of maybe yourself that is. I even wrote a book on the series back in 2006, showing all of the academic knowledge one can gain from this series, "The CBS Radio Mystery Theater as an Educational Degree" Mystery Theater can give you a better education than most colleges can these days! After all the years of listening to this series, it was unsettling when I met up with Marian Seldes at Tavern on the Green in NYC! Hearing her talk with me was like being in an episode it was so wild! Anyway, thanks again for making this series available to a whole new generation of fans.
@Mitch Salawine: Name of book please? Love to find it!! Thank You!! CBSRMT as an Educational Degree? Will look for it after RMT. Goodnight. From Kansas.
This one. The picture alone is so gorgeous. The atmospheric soft rises gold lamps are so incredible at night with all the lights off in my bedroom watching and listening horizontally.. ...
@@trissloan2340 Their language and voice and expression still has an older feel to it though. It's part of why I love listening to them. They sound like the era of black and white TV.
Good story, although I thought Mrs. Kolfax's "firm-mindedness" was rather stupid, if a murdered family member had given me such warning I would have listened, especially after the obvious threat she was given - of course there wouldn't have been much of a story if she had
It would be great if you could indicate in the title whether the commercials are included. I find them incredibly distracting and annoying as I am trying to relax and listen to these stories. Being interrupted with stupid jingles is beyond ridiculous.
You can usually tell if commercials are included by looking at the running time of the episode. Fifty plus minutes usually means ad breaks are included. When they aren’t, the run time is just over 40 minutes.
@@tommyhemlock7915 ah okay. I've seen them different runtimes; figured it had more to do with the openness of writing but I guess it makes more sense that commercials be regimented.
Best way to relax for sleep. Listened to these with my dear dad when young. Love them.
Ditto!

your a proffesional ChillySunshine. fantastic work and thanks for these.
How refreshing to hear commercials from a time when companies actually cared about their customers.

This picture really draws me, too.
The commercials are the best part: “Avis, we do the little extras like make sure the ashtrays are clean.” Standards were so much lower 40 years ago!
Wrong. Standards were much higher then. They are so much lower now.
Oh what a laugh I had at the end
This was a lot of fun. Thanks Chilly!
I'm staying up too late so I can listen to one more. Good night 💤🌉😴 all from Kennewick Wa

Again, Chilly Sunshine, you have the most exquisite sense of atmosphere in your seamless selection of images.
Thanks tuber gal, I appreciate your kind words.
Good audio on this one, and you can fwd the commercials if you dont want to hear them.
No. I enjoy listening to the old commercials. It's fun 😀 to hear them. Some I actually remember, some, afraid not. 12/1/20.

She's just an example of a stubborn minded woman.
Hahahahaha, Love it love it. However the Only good thing about Budweiser IS the Clydesdales.💞🐴
This one annoyed me, how many people have a ghost tell them not to do something and they do it anyway.
People are ornery. At least they broke up a dangerous group.

Good one xx
