I don't know about that. Lancer is crazy powerful in this game which leads to a lot of musk. Plus, the inclusion of the sawed off and retro really can sour what would otherwise be a good multiplayer experience. Gears 3 does have the One Shot though, a weapon I sorely miss in the newer games.
