Thanks for the great video, Also very useful for people with a failed boot switch who want to replace the whole loom rather than splice in a new one from the outside. My screws were so rusted that they had to be drilled out with 7mm drill. Replacment bolt, nearest i could find is bmw T30 torqs m6. Captive nuts unscrew from the door handle so dont pull out. Ive not found the exact captive nut but im going to try some similar ones from ebay M6 threaded wood insert nuts 10mm length. Will try and let you know if they work. Anyone found a better fit?

I will be painting my Tailgate Light Housing so I’ll need it off for a day. Will my tailgate lock without it and if so, given that the latch release button is on the housing, will I be able to open it if it locks?
@@L663 I'm gonna be honest - I have never seen a dashboard button to open the tailgate. Haha Not sure if it wasn't included in the 2010 LR4 or if I've simply never noticed it but I'll remembered there's a button in the key fob so I'll most likely try that.
Apologies for the ridiculously detailed question - the T30 screws in my Disco 3 are completely stripped, and need to be changed. Do you have the P/N or the dimensions so I can get new ones? Thank you.

Hi - yes these do come complete but they are expensive at over £200
The discovery 4 one seems to come cheaper at £75 in primer
