    Good to hear a Year follow up. Very rare . It is a great machine, it's just the price that stopped me getting one, though it has a fantastic spec. Nice to hear you prefer the 400w spindle, much quieter smoother than the trim routers! I still dream of having one but I have Th little brother 4040xe and 4030 ProVer XL as my day to day machines hat continue giving great service!

      It so easy to do a review of a new machine. The real test comes after you have used it to see how it really holds up. The FoxAlien has done that. I chose this over the 4030 ProVer XL because it is smaller and has the plastic wheels. Please don’t get this wrong it still an excellent machine. After all the carve has plastic wheels and belts and it’s still going strong. Thank you for you support. Happy thanksgiving to you and your family

    Hi, great review! But don't you think the x-axis ball screw that is not properly protected and covered cannot be damaged by the accumulation of sawdust and milling waste? Cheers

    Good review. The power switch is in the back because of EU regulations saying it has to be so far from the power input. That's how you can tell if a product was just developed for the American market or global.

    I really like your videos and how you explain things very simply.. one thing I didnt see in this video was how you set up the controller with the openbuilds software.. I am assuming you connected the machine controller to a pc/laptop via a usb cable..

      @PawPawsWorkShop  Год назад

      Yes, that it. All you have to do is to select the correct port on the computer that you are using

    Hi SIr. Good morning. Can i ask if the machine works well to make the back side of of a picture frame. The side to slip the picture in. The back lip. ALso, you you think it would work on the Belize Mahogany we have here? Thanks, Frantz

    Is the 400W sufficient for aluminum milling?

    • @PawPawsWorkShop
      @PawPawsWorkShop  Год назад

      Yes, that should work for carving light aluminum projects

      @@PawPawsWorkShop but how does the machine hold up to aluminum milling? Is it rigid enough? How does it compare with a sherline mill? I am a bit confused here, as to which is better...if I do go for the Vasto, I plan to upgrade the spindle to an 1.5kw air cooled spindle

    Nice machine to be sure.. But it's twice the price of the Sainsmart Proverxl 4030 that I'm looking to get. That's just too much of a difference for me. Maybe one day..

      When your leadscrew nuts start wearing in and lashing around, and those black plastic wheels start shedding material, you'll understand why. I leaned my lesson. You get what you pay for.

    • @inverse2k1
      @inverse2k1 Год назад

      @@hydropyropyropyro, yup. Nothing more, nothing less. That's the main point.
      Cheaper machines are mostly good for lightweight jobs with very little to no load (laser for example) so the wear can be ignored for a reasonable time before servicing parts.

      I really do not know. I never try to push my machines to the max. I chose not to take a chance on damaging the machine or break bits
