Cec stages was pretty popular and started the RC car method and everyone used that because it was so simple. Even my stuff used it till I finally re-did it everything.

You need to get the pico boo mp3 you can program and add audio on your computer and shows go on a as card but you’ll need a lot of those for each show there’s menu music and then when you hit play it plays the show
Great job. I see you have the flow controls now. I sew you live show and I was going to tell you that you need to decree the airflow that was why you were having trouble. because your animatronics are made out of cardboard and thin plastic parts the hi parser was wearing them down.sorry I did not get back to you sooner on that. You are on the right track /your airflow on the mouths and stum arm needs to be a little lass /and then your moon will go up better and you won't get ware and tear on your animatronics parts. I have a pneumatic bird animatronic I want to program to the picoBoo FI-104 Can you hook up a valve bank to this? How many movements can you program? How long can you record sound with animation, I have a 4 min song that I need 4 mins of animation to? If this is not cable to program a pneumatic bird animatronic too, then can you give me other advice. resources?

@@b.w.vanalstyne7197 gotcha. you will need the following: (all of which will be available on Amazon lol) An air compressor, not sure which exact size/brand you’d need since it’s up to you how many movements it’ll have. Air cylinders, again, up to you about which size/quantity you’d need, but I’ve gotten a good variety of sizes and they all work great. Air hosing, most cylinders I’ve come across use 6mm hosing size but be sure to double check the size when you buy cylinders. Solenoid valve bank, this is the “button thing” you see in the video, it essentially just opens and closes a valve causing air to flow to the cylinders. Flow controls/restrictors These are little plastic knobs that you snap onto the air hosing, these will allow you to restrict airflow to the cylinders allowing a smoother motion without needing to turn the psi of the compressor down. These are technically optional but it’ll generally allow things to look better when operating and increase the longevity of the cylinders and mechanical parts. There may also be additional fittings you may need but a good majority will come with their assigned parts. But in case you do need more they will always be available on Amazon So that’s about it in terms of the mechanical stuff, If you have all this, your character should be in a perfectly working state. Now as you mentioned you’d like it to have it perform like a Chuck E. Cheese animatronic so this’ll be all the stuff you need to have it become fully automated. A computer, you could use pretty much any sort of laptop or Pc as long as it has a USB port. I’ve seen people run these with computers from 2003 so even if you don’t currently have one you could easily find an older one for a decent price. Along with the computer you’ll need a programming software, I personally use vixen lights since it’s free. I’ve been using it for nearly a year and I will admit that it is a bit tedious, but it’s generally pretty easy once you understand it. A Arduino uno board. There’s a few other types of arduinos that you can use but I personally use an uno so I can confirm that that particular one works great. A relay module. Be sure to find one with a subtable amount of channels for your character (I personally use an 8 channel one) Jumper wires. Simple, cheap, little wires that click together with no need for soldering. And finally a power cable with jumper wire attachment. MAKE SURE that you get one with the same voltage as your valve bank, if you have 24 volt valves with a 12 volt power supply it won’t work. So make sure all your valve banks use the same voltage. And then finally their the bare bones mechanical parts you’ll need. Now this is completely up to you, so if you want a wooden frame you’d need to buy parts subtable for a wood frame, same goes for metal, etc. I know this sounds like a lot, but I did this all at a pretty young age on a very limited budget. So as long as your willing to put a bit of time and money into it you should be able to make something cool. And of course if you need any pointers or extra info don’t hesitate to ask me, I would also recommend watching a few videos on how to set some specific parts up just to be safe, but some things will certainly be easier then others.
