AWESOME INFORMATION! As a 35 year golf instructor I love learning more from this!! Rate of Closure explanation and a game played with the hands...spot on!!!
So much solid gold in this 48 minutes. Every time Mr. Finney says “I don’t wanna get into the weeds” I think to myself “please continue going into the weeds.” I live for the excessive detail and thought provoking elements of impact like this. Great episode
Very insightful discussion about ball flight laws. Michael is so humble in his demeanor and is so generous to share his knowledge. And we have yet to go down the Strike Point and Gear Effect rabbit hole!!! It is unfortunate many golfers and worse teachers who teaches swing mechanics without explaining ball flights.
I worked in the golf OEM industry early 2000s...we had the ball flight laws all eff'd up. I quit golf in 2003 and came back in 2021 and thought I landed on a different planet. I didn't even know what a trackman was when I pulled my clubs out. I wonder how we ever got the ball to go where we wanted it to go. Lol.

Appreciate your kind message.
Always love hearing Mike talk about the golf swing & even moreso with Mark. Kuddos on a great guest and podcast.

Great to hear some love for the forearms, which are responsible for squaring the face. ❤
Totally agree!

Mark Immelman, have you done a podcast with Mac o Grady?
wow, that would be amazing but am not sure if Mac is completely out of the 'spotlight' now sadly
Isn't O
Grady a Homer Kelley guy? Not sure there is enough server space in the world to host a full Golfing Machine podcast.
Great podcast, but it's too short, especially when topics like today need more depth of conversation.
Very much appreciated though!
We can get him on again.
