Step by step instructions to replace a cracked screen on an ASUS Chromebook C202.
This is an excellent video and product. My toddler tap danced on his older brother's ASUS C202 Chromebook screen. I went through the short replacement procedure very slowly, explaining the steps to my boys as I went, and it still took me under a half hour to complete. The only hitch was one of the sticky external screw covers that vanished. We are so pleased to have his device in working order again! I would definitely recommend Screen Surgeons to friends and family.
I ordered my screen, it came in two days, and I replaced it in about ten minutes because this video made it so easy. THANK YOU! Saved a bunch by replacing the screen instead of the Chromebook.
This video and the tools and screen were perfect. The tape holding down the connector was a little more aggressive in my case and didn't come off as easily as it did in the video, but the hobby knife did the trick. The whole repair took about 10 minutes. The new screen is glossy where the old one was matte, but that doesn't matter to me.
Great walk thru saved me 200 bucks by being able to repair it instead of having to replace it

Hello. I am running into an issue with my screen replacement (didn't buy through your company). I plugged my new screen in and when refastening the brackets it accidentally turned on. I was happy to see the screen worked! But I powered it off, replaced everything, then tried to power back on, then nothing. I figured the connector came loose, so took it back apart and made sure connector was secure, and after powering back up, I did not get display on my screen. Any ideas?
