To the person in story 4: you really continued hanging out with this person after they gave you major red flags that they weren’t safe and were potentially violent? Like I can get being initially dazzled/deluded by someone’s constructed personality but to then re-kindle and hang out with them again after learning all that…pick your ‘friends’ better
That person clearly had low or no self-esteem. The fact that she thought negatively towards her supposed female friend (thinking she's lying) and essentially sided with a man she didn't really know, then kept entertaining him when he kept telling her that he's a violent psychopath over and over shows that. She was so pathetic that she continued just to have his attention.
I can't even believe you just talked about the samurai killer in STL. I've been listening to your stories for a while, but that just got too close to home. I was his neighbor and I was the one who placed the 911 calls that night. I was by my open window when I heard someone screaming die over and over. I looked out and saw him pacing in his apartment slapping himself in the face. I called the police, but they didn't take me seriously. I had to place numerous calls to 911 after I heard a bunch of gun shots and breaking glass, but they never came. I even called the police again the next day when I saw all the lights were still on in his apartment and I just felt something wasn't right. It took them days to finally respond, find the body, and track down and arrest the guy. During that time, he was riding around on his scooter having had a complete psychotic break. Scary stuff.
lol, in story #7, the kid slid OP a drawing of an angel/demon thing with song lyrics on it- "Angels made of neon and f*cking garbage" is a line from My Chemical Romance's 'Na Na Na'. the kid isn't scary, they're just an emo middle schooler lol.
Actually, it sounded like a female wrote that story. Her friend dated the psychopath, & she tried to warn the person about how the guy is psycho. So she thought her friend was just telling her things because she was mad at her ex (the psycho) & didn’t want them to be together, so she didn’t believe her friend. So it seems like it was an insecure female who was either too lonely or too naive to stay away from the psycho.
@@DesireesJoint are you kidding me? What woman would be that dumb? Also, do you really think a guy with those kinds of tendencies and obvious misogyny would keep a woman around without trying anything with her? Nothing in that story suggested that the author was a woman.
Yeah, he sounds like a genuinely terrible person. If you find out your friend abused someone and you dismiss it as them being a "vindictive ex," you're already garbage. But at least I could understand if you were truly being manipulated by the abuser to believe that. But the fact that he stayed around SO much longer, after this dude confessed to being an actual monster, shows how shitty of a person he is. I hope karma comes around to bite him and his friend. They literally deserve the worst.
@@maggiedk exactly!! If the author was female she would have felt unsafe as soon as he started to reveal his true colors, rather than diminishing it and continuing to associate with the psycho guy.
Story 4: “I’m convinced this guy’s a psychopath, or something very close to it.” That girl seems pretty stupid. It’s clear that he IS a psychopath based on every single thing that was said. He admitted to killing dogs, abusing his last one, admitted that he has a strong sexual desire to kidnap & murder a woman & have sex with the corpse, admitted to kidnapping an escort & ‘scarring’ her, & his ex even warned the girl about how he almost killed her, yet she still dated him… Then he became a cop who highly likely abused his power. I don’t understand why she would even try to reconnect with him. & after he nearly beat some random dude to death, she reported him to the cops, but probably didn’t mention everything else he’s said or done. If they started an investigation on him, I’m sure they’d find evidence on his devices. Sick assholes leave a trail of evidence. Some blend in & flow through society, some are too sick to even make an attempt to blend in, like this guy.
Some exes do lie about how terrible the other person was out of jealousy or wanting to hurt the other person but she specifically said she was already close to this girl before him so I don't understand why she didn't trust her?
I was mad at the girl who was home alone and didn't call the cops after a guy got into her house. How did she know he was out of the house? He could have been hiding in a closet downstairs! She didn't tell anyone and the house clearly wasn't securely locked down!

If I was warned about someones abusive behavior and the person confirms it by laughing about a time they tried to get someone to end their own life i would stop talking to that person
3:00 Seth Herder lived down the street from me. No, I didn't know him personally, by good fortune. The street corner where he used to dance at morning rush-hour was right outside his apartment. People thought he was entertaining them, but here's the twist to that: it was curse dance. He was dancing to send everybody to Hell. He's mentally ill, but he's also a terrible person. He should never get out. He might've thought he was the anti-Christ, but he embraced it too readily.
The guy in the first story thinks of going down a rabbit hole is an hour or so....Lol. For me it's 6-8 some times longer. An hour or 2 is nothing for me.
I've lived with deaf and mute people before and they do not adhere nor respect social norms. They have their own culture & customs. Which seem highly inappropriate to us who can hear & / or speak. I was shocked by some of the things my deaf/ mute roommates did . But they thought i was pretty strange too.
Stories about "skinwalkers" & other such things like in that last story creep me out... I believe in the supernatural (to a degree) & there are some things that seem to transcend location/culture/time & skinwalker type of things is one of them...
The guy in the van from the third story could have just been some dude who was lost and tryin to figure out where he was goin lol u think pretty highly of yourself if you think every slow moving car is someone tryin harm you

Usually a younger guy that clearly just wants a mother figure. I have seen fellow patients go from something as chill as coloring to a full meltdown. I hate taking all the meds I am on but ik I am not a nice person without them. I truly feel bad for mentally ill people.
Mental illness sucks, and the stigma against people with it even more
Love the video ready ❤❤❤
If I was warned about someones abusive behavior and the person confirms it by laughing about a time they tried to get someone to end their own life i would stop talking to that person
So yeah if any friend of mine talks about people in his walls I will not fall for the obvious trap

STORY 13......
PURE TORTURE TO LISTEN TO !!!!!!
DON'T GIVE UP THE DAY JOB..
IFFF YOU HAVE ONE......
Some of these stories have been read twice but I'm sure it's hard to find new ones so I get it.
I love them regardless 🙈
Incredible video man! You put us small narrators to shame lol.
I’m in love with the stories and I’m so happy whenever you upload, I’m surprised you have not reached the millions yet❤️
Pushing 900K. Next stop, 1 meellion! 🤔
Dude that was a cool azz retro introduction!!! Felt like i just pushed in a VHS from family video!
Goodnight Joel❤
Oh boy, time to get spooked!
Great love stories 😊
3:00 Seth Herder lived down the street from me. No, I didn't know him personally, by good fortune. The street corner where he used to dance at morning rush-hour was right outside his apartment. People thought he was entertaining them, but here's the twist to that: it was curse dance. He was dancing to send everybody to Hell.
He's mentally ill, but he's also a terrible person. He should never get out. He might've thought he was the anti-Christ, but he embraced it too readily.
yes I've been waiting for this all day Thank You Joel!!!
One hundred percent dope.
The first one scared me because I remember readinf about seth before i watch this video and it creeped me out. Really good video keep up the work
Thanks Joel bear 🐻 you’re the best
Moving on must be difficult for some, but for others detachment is easy
The guy in the first story thinks of going down a rabbit hole is an hour or so....Lol. For me it's 6-8 some times longer. An hour or 2 is nothing for me.
Tbh the kid at McDonald's was just an emo kid who was into My Chemical Romance. Literally a line from Na Na Na, "Neon and f*cking garbage."
Lmaoooo I read it as "scary rabbit stories" wonder what those would have been like 😂
Yes!! Joel help me get through this OT
Early and happy about it 🥰
I'm glad I made it to the end of the video because the last story was so nice and scary.
❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥❤️🔥
Keep up the good work!
I ran into an Amazon review for condoms and the guy was complaining that the condoms couldn’t hold up against his pelvic thrusts and kept breaking
😆
I think I'd like a whole video dedicated to terrifying internet rabbit holes
Thanks Joel
Gread video, Lets read!
I've lived with deaf and mute people before and they do not adhere nor respect social norms. They have their own culture & customs. Which seem highly inappropriate to us who can hear & / or speak. I was shocked by some of the things my deaf/ mute roommates did . But they thought i was pretty strange too.
Cool video.
That last one! It got to me! Psycho stalkers I can handle. Supernatural entities, and I’m terrified!
Thank you RUclips Joel! 💙💜💙
Thr East Indian wood gathering story WAS SCARY
Yo that creepy child is just an MCR fan. Neon & f*cking garbage is a lyric in Na Na Na lol
Stories about "skinwalkers" & other such things like in that last story creep me out... I believe in the supernatural (to a degree) & there are some things that seem to transcend location/culture/time & skinwalker type of things is one of them...
Spooks and chill
The guy in the van from the third story could have just been some dude who was lost and tryin to figure out where he was goin lol u think pretty highly of yourself if you think every slow moving car is someone tryin harm you
Swear almost had a heart attack when the voice switched
I first heard about Seth Hearders story on Nick Crowleys channel. Scary stuff
Cant seem to find the video?
W let’s read
