I had a great idea. Hire a bassist to write a bass solo, and then you give this solo to another bassist to try to improve it. Continue doing it how many times you want. Then try to play the bass solo that they wrote.
Emmanuel Hernández thats what I thought too. He and the last guy were my favs. But the 2nd guy more so because I always go for the underdog. He hung in there with a pro for over $100 less 🙂!

The Pro guy gave it some really nice rhythmic modifications, and his groove was on point. I agree though, if we choose according to money/solo ratio; 2 is the way to go.
But his music was boring. People, you have to stop to fall for that entertaining crap. You can rent a cam from that guy and some immature grimaces. But not musicianship.
