Honestly, the best collection from Chanel i've seen in years, then again, I'm a sucker for Plaid, stripes, that whole medieval themed stuff.

I worked at this event and although not a major follower of fashion the amount of detail and thought into this was amazing. Best part was warming your hands against the open fire when everyone was away being fed lol

Hands down, loved every single piece in this show.
Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities. It's known as the Athens of the north for all of its beautiful monuments and architecture. This show is everything- so exquisite and chic. Mary Stuart is smiling at karl in heaven.
Karl and Stella are now in heaven :( and they closed the show together :(
16th Century meets edinburough meet early 80's Calvin Klein in the ease of the sweaters and cardigans....first time seeing this show. Virginie is going to have to fill those shoes really well because that man was a beast.
Golden Glove so far she is failing miserably... and I know not to expect a Karl fashion show, but everything she is making has no visual impact, and poor styling...not to mention the music is intolerable!

Chanel shows are always super long, but I really didn't want this one to end. It's my second favorite after last year's Bombay collection. More menswear Karl!

I love everything from the Elizabethan hair to the short puffy skirts and the necklines tied in chicly exaggerated silk cravat bows. Defnetely one of my favorites chanel shows in a long time.

Clothes in that show are timeless. Realize argyle, plaid, thick wooly & fair isle clothing could be worn 50 years ago or 20 years from now. (As long as your not in the South Pacific.)

This show was set in Linlithgow Palace in December 2012 ( birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots) 20 miles from Edinburgh, the Palace has also been used in the Outlander series and in the new Netflix production Outlaw King starring Chris Pine as Robert the Bruce, Well worth a visit , unfortuately the models and designs went home after the show , as did the catwalk. Pity really as it added to the look and feel of the Palace. Historic Scotland obviously didn't agree

Somehow I had missed this show. Mary Queen of Scots show. Bon Spectacle! Now that Scotland is voting to secede from UK --appropriate now! The colors, the styling of hair and make-up, and the wonderful tartans, laces, jewels, feathers --are excellent!

That is an immortal creating had been executed by Lagerfeld. It's my favourite Metiers d'Art show. I think that rarely show the better, that I have seen at one time or other.
