"But she has no heart" is not correct. "Jigyar" is about family ties, kinship. The wild deer has not them (to the child) , that's why "gives not much" - not like Mother. 🙏De

Holy Tigran... Does anybody know where the original lyrics with translation can be found? I don't manage to find then on the net.
songbat.com/archive/songs/armenian/talishi-oror You can find it here, there is the English translation and also transliterated. Only there is a mistake, instead of "Արև քեզի մերիկ" it should be "Արև քեզի հերիկ", and in the transliteration instead of "Arev k’yezi merik" should be "Arev k’yezi herik", in the translation it's correct.

It's his rendition of a traditional armenian song, called Talish Oror (Lullaby of Talish)
Lyrics' meaning are kind of Paganic. If i recall correctly, it has lyrics like; With small leaves I will cover you. With wide leaves I will wrap you. The sun is your father, the moon is your mother.
