I should comment this isn’t my work at all, it is a fan game by Ari and I’m just showing it off. You can check the description and end of the video for the credits but just didnt want to give people the impression that I made this
Edit: Since people are STILL confused, I've edited the title and the very first line of the description to emphasize this is NOT my own fangame. I thought that before it was clear with the credits being a large part of the video and my name not appearing at all in them, but just to make 100% sure people don't get the wrong idea I've taken these extra steps

@@michaelsbasement Since I've never been known for stuff like this, put the actual fangame and their creators in the description, and the fact that there are credits for 1/3 of the video in which my name is nowhere to be found, I thought it was clear enough but I've now edited the title and first line of the description to further clear up any possible confusion.

Cannot get over the surprise, followed by the relief on Sans face when Asgore shows up to help. The implication that he thought he was alone and that he would die that way, and that despair being destroyed as everyone comes out of the woodwork to help. It makes me smile so hard.
All of them give a hopeful smile in the final attack where asgore finish you off for good

It would have been cool if you could see the human soul in Asgore during the credits. Just being there, unable to move except a few pixles. Like in deltarune.
The much more satisfying ending
Not only have been killed and are you no longer a threat
And not only are the monsters are all free
But many of them are still alive
Because there's still the chunk of the population that Alphys was evacuating
Plus in theory, Asgore could give Flowey one of the human souls and have him turn into Asriel so he can have his son back
Asriel requires 7 souls to come back, though.
And he required Chara reminding him of their friendship via that flashback to calm down in true pacifist through frisk.

Honestly I find this to be a much more thrilling ending. Even when it literally means your downfall it is still more interesting to see some of the monsters that were left such as Napstablook, Alphys and some others actually fight back rather than running and hiding away. What is especially so epic about this is how Asgore actually does put you to justice for your actions. He puts his pain and unwillingness to kill humans and absorbing the souls aside just for you.

This is really good but I feel like Sans is way too stubborn to let others be at risk, hence why he fights you alone, too bad he does it a bit too late in the game since he kept his promise to Toriel
Yeah unfortunately he only decides to break his promise officially once frisk reachs judgment hall meaning sans has no time to gather the remaining monsters
Napstablook and the amalgamates can't be killed tho, so he doesn't put them at risk
I highly doubt he’d even care if they were to intrude, unless it’s fanon Sans, the good one, since he’s more emotionally active, he probably would. Canon is just in that type of state, uncaring and what not. The one and only reason he even bothered in the og genocide route was probably because the entire universe, all timelines included, was going to be wiped out in one fell swoop. “True” death, if you will.
@Caleb Vela I didn't say anything about him not caring about Papyrus, I said this relating to original commenter's comment, the "let others be at risk" part, the remaining monsters when you fight Sans. What I meant about my comment is, "Why would he care about other monsters intruding when it just helps him annoy you more?", but I can see where you got that from my comment.

It's beautiful. The shy and feeble Alphys helps out, and her abominations too! Flowey, the downright evil weed even helps out. The socially awkward Napstablook helps out too, and something puts a smile on his face for once!
Not to mention, the king himself.. ASGORE! Due to a human going on a massacre against his people, the guilt stored for so long faded away entirely, allowing him to go ALL OUT, surpassing sans. We know Asgore can dodge (Undyne says this), and is implied so many times to be the strongest monster. Combining ASGORE with the six souls is an instant game over for the human.
Sans giving the iconic "It's a beautiful day outside" speech only to forget his line is too in character.
This is pretty cool, I don’t think this can top the original at ALL.
This is meant to be more epic and more satisfying, as all the surviving monsters get their happy ending against you, but the reason the original genocide route was so good was because it wasn’t as satisfying. One of the main points of the genocide route was that there was a unhappy ending because YOU killed everyone, so YOU don’t get to see a happy ending.
This is still a great mod though, so each to their own
Yeah, people who think this is unironically a better ending have the narrative comprehension skills of a third grader, and that's ignoring the fact that Frisk's soul would go back in time on frame 1 after death. It doesn't even make sense logically.
Like, if you prefer it in a fanfic-like wish fulfillment sort of way, then fine, but seeing some RUclipsrs like ScottFalco completely miss the point of the genocide route is honestly baffling. It's not even complicated.
I agree! In terms of narrative, the original works far better. However in terms of what actually should have happened lore wise, I honestly do think this is a more likely outcome. With Sans being not present for a lot of the game, I would think that a more likely outcome would be him meeting with alphys or Asgore and formulating a plan to take down the human like this
@@MysticSlime With infinite resets, the human can die as many times as they want until they kill everyone.
Sure Sans has his last stand at the end, but when you can kill any enemy with one hit, they'd only be getting in the way unless they suddenly learn how to dodge or manipulate space.

Crazy to think how they saved not only their timeline, but also EVERY other; yet, it feels sadder than any other ending from og Undertale

the saddest ending i my opinion is neutral when you only kill mettaton. One narcissistic robots death means alphys commits suicide, undyne gets crippling depression and papyrus has no purpose in life. Plus, Napstablook is even more depressed when he realises his only relative is dead, but he cant end his life.
For me this ending is brilliant, i would really like this ending in the canon undertale as it gives me vibes on a true pacifist ending level.
This is the most realistic genocide ending, the monsters just swarm you until you give up.
I love the animation of a hand grabbing your soul. I feel that after Toriel Hardcore mode against bosses should run the risk of the monster grabbing your soul when you die and you have to completely restart. As well as other monsters being harder than normal.

Undyne said herself she has only been able to landa blow on Asgore once. Meaning mg Asgore can also dodge. The only difference is that he doesn't have the same stamina issues sans does + he can probably do a lot better in fight if he isn't wishing to be killed during his battle

Unlike Dusttale Sans’ solution by killing everyone, which is just so out of character, this fangame represents what Sans would have really done and this actually fits his character
Anybody notice how Heartache and Bonetrousle played in the background if the songs climax showing how Sans is fighting for the people he cared about most. I think that’s pretty neat

That was fantastically constructed Mystic. I particularly liked the touch of Asgore snatching your soul before it could return to the save point. Turns out there WAS something the Soul couldn't escape from.

Honestly, having the player essentially pinned down as Asgore stabs you with his trident before forcefully grabbing your soul to not only finish you off for good and to have the souls and power necessary to break the barrier feels like what should have been a type of ending
... Be it on a failed genocide route or in losing to Asgore (if his voice still being the one talking to you in his fight wasn't so poetic)
It would have been cool if the name of the player was "Frisk", showing how this ending would only possible in the hard mode (if it were complete) which would explain the really high difficulty.
It's all fun and games until unkillable enemies turn against you.

You know you did something wrong when sans is willing to pair up with flowey, the murderous flower, that he knows is definitely up to something
not sans being like "look, flowey, you may have wanted us all dead, but so does this kid, so come on and help."
also, asgore: "why do i hear boss music in the distance? is sans fighting someone or something?"
i also love how flowey pops up at the end when everyone else has left to see the sunset.

This was straight up this was incredible. I really like to imagine a timeline where this happened
The ONE thing I would change for this battle is to have all the monster NPC's that evacuated during the genocide route show up to fight the player as well. Since technically, Undyne tells us that if we got past her, Alphys had evacuated the rest of the monsters of the underground. It would be pretty cool to have all of them show up, or alteast semi-familiar faces like Gerson and the temmies, since I doubt many of them would allow Alphys herself to risk her life against such an unstoppable being like the player.
Other then that, this fangame was truly one epic piece of Undertale fanmedia. It felt like something that could actually happen in the normal game, not being too overly edgy or Sans centered. It's really quite a great game and it's cool you played it. Keep up the great content!!!

This is literally how it should have ended, it's such a satisfying end to undertale in this way with the amalgams, alphys, napstablook, ashore and even flowey makes an appearance! So cool and satisfying to see the downfall of frisk.
Man, I wish they added monster kid, wrong enemy, jerry (if the player was just lazy to kill him), the turtle guy, temmie (if you didn’t get the special encounter), the rock (that is if he could make it lol), grillby, the nice cream man, muffet’s minions, maybe a rebuilt mettaton and maybe Gaster himself! (Maybe mad/glad dummy’s cousins/family members as well) all in the battle

When I first saw this I was like... yeah I can see this being the "good" ending to the Genocide route. But I noticed Flowey and was like, doesn't Flowey that Chara is present within in Frisk and I realized oh duh you were about to kill Flowey in the normal.
The only problem I have with the original ending is how out of character asgore seems to me personally. He pathetically asks you for tea before dieing and to me it’s so out of character. It feels like he would want to fight you more due to the fact that you killed almost the entire underground. They should have made it so he tries to fight you and then gets killed by flowey. It would have made much more sense in my opinion.
I think it's supposed to mean that he doesn't recognize you as human by that point, though that's really only a guess on my part
@@ArcherArgyleShorts that makes a bit of sense, but he still would have noticed that the entire underground is dead. He would have felt terrible. He wouldn’t just be sipping tea. As soon as the human enters the room holding a knife he could have estimated or guessed what this meant and try to stop them.
@@b8conbear330 Nobody told Asgore about the underground dying, alphys, undyne and sans are the only ones that could do that, alphys probably locked herself due to fear and evacuated the monsters and considering how in panic alphys get with normal situation imagine when there's someone slaying everyone in the underground, undyne kinda died to your hands before doing that, and sans is hum ?????????? anyway at least in fangames they generally have the headcanon of alphys either being hidden on true lab (being the reason you never find her) or evacuating people to the true lab.
Asgore is also never seen using a phone, so he probably didn't have phone to contact with others, Toriel does have 2 phones so maybe one of them was from asgore and since toriel mentions she didn't expect more people it could be his phone, either that or she lied and she was planning to give it in case another human fell down, over all there's no ways to 100% confirm but is very implied that Asgore didn't knew his kingdom was being murdered in the first place.

Honestly I would have loved this. The whole Underground shows up to kick your ass, and they NEVER fail. I would never have been so happy to lose. 💃🏽💃🏽
This would be a much more satisfying genocide ending. The fact that Napstablook, a ghost who barely even wants to exist is actually putting in effort because of the people you murdered
Flowey who is still alive for some reason? I thought Frisk murdered him before getting there BUT he is here and he is actually trying to stop you with the good guys
And the fact that Alphys actually stepped up and finally built up the courage to fight you because you hurt too many people. And her bringing the amalgamates was really smart but i don't think she would do that but its still pretty cool
Asgore the fuzzy pushover ain't messing around no more. In the neutral route he was holding back because he didn't want to kill you and didn't want that soul but here he gots some goals and he is planning on achieving them.
A bit of a correction: Flowey dies at the very end of the genocide route, right after you murder Asgore.

This is really cool, but doesnt make sense for flowey to attack you. In undertale, flowey WANTS you to do genocide, and gets angry when you spare anyone. Unless of course it got so bad that even flowey couldnt forgive you. I dont know
Flowey gets scared of you right before the sans fight and during it he starts crying and tries to warn asgore

Would be a cool ending if you did multiple genocides in a row, the way to reset it is just doing a different route afterwards, maybe 3 genocide in a row then you get hit by this fight here
I’ve literally never done a genocide in undertale because how guilty I would feel. Yes I know the characters are just programmed pixels but for some reason I still feel bad, as if they were more than that. :(

It's a small detail, but I love the little wink Flowey does when he pops up, considering what JUST happened in the previous scene, you can tell EXACTLY what he's thinking.

I actually needed to see grillby on the cliff... Its.. oddly calming.. because just think of it, grillby cant Really be killed by the player/human, so what if he was the one to fight us?you wouldnt be able to win. To kill grillby You'd need to get water from somewhere, but since the snow doesnt melt, the closest thing is waterfall, and i doubt any of us would run from A burning building with level 8. Also lets take into consideration that grillby DOES know how to fight, like, sometimes there are bar fights right?
What im saying is, if grillby just tried... It would be possible that he would be the one to stop the human/player
The ending really shows us how yes the monsters are finally back on the surface but are nearly extinct they’ve won but at what cost?
This is perfect for the genocide ending because it shows the true meaning of undertale that is "All actions have consequences"
The best part about this fangame is easily the fact that it leaves the player even less satisfied than the original genocide ending. By pulling victory out of the player’s hands and giving them an ending where the very monsters they tried to murder get away with their own goals is fitting for a route the game doesn’t want you to take.
If Genocide route was really like that, Chara would be a mystery

I really like the fact that Sans immediately gave his best and apparently knew in advance that he would be helped, this is the best ending

yea this should have been the actual genocide ending surely it would have been a lot more satisfying than actually "winning" by killing all your friends
I think this should be a HIDDEN genocide ending, which occurs after doing genocide 3 times.
Using 6 souls to capture 1 souls would have been better than using 6 souls and becoming a monster just to capture 1 soul. At least asgore picked the first option
Problems:
Alphys has probably bloxxed herself by now
Napstablook is separated from others, so he likely doesnt know that this is happening, because he probably wouldve gotten over his depression if he found out all his cousins are dead in genocide
The Amalgamates are too unstable to join a coordinated effort to kill someone, they likely only attacked out of confusion in the True Lab
Flowey has gotten suspicious of "Chara" by now, but likely not enough to attack them, as shown by his pleading at the end of the Genocide route, though he likely could have killed them
Asgore is fine, he should've done this in the normal Genocide
It’s not a problem it’s the problem you have with this MASTERPIECE
I mean this ending is what happens when the monsters set aside their own individual problems like alphys shy behavior or asgore solitude, sans laziness, flowey fear of chara. and instead work together for a common goal to defeat this "monster" no pun intended. there is no reason for a king like asgore to not be informed that there is a genocide going on when the villagers and merchants are all hiding.
It's actually better ending for everyone... Remaining monsters will be free, and Chara won't take your soul.

This would have been perfect for where you attempt a genocide run again it will go like this in the 1st genocide run sans won't no that he can't stop u because he have already managed to stop flowy before so when you defeat him and finish the run he will now know he needs help to stop you then on your 2nd genocide run this ending happens were asgor absorbers the 6 Human souls and with the help of all remaining monsters they defeat you
the amalgamate's appearance is just like an actual group project in school because nobody does anything except memoryhead (reference to the one guy in the group that does everything)

i find this to be a way better outcome for the genocide route. not with the player losing, but with the idea that everybody alive end up helping Sans. it's a way better ending, and it brings more screen time to other characters in the game.
