Lots of disassembly vids out there just look up rlaarlo AK-917 tear down, if you cant find it then refer to your manual. There should be an exploded diagram in it. Good luck 👍🏾
Depends on the need, if you plan on drifting then its worth it becasue the higher end gyros also offer more features. But just for speed running, drag launching and normal track driving the built in gyro will work fine.
Depends on what you're doing. For speed runs you want the suspension as stiff as possible and diff oil at 1mill in front and rear and ease in the throttle to minimize torque steer. For track try stiffening the front and softening the reat a bit so car can rotateand diffs can try 50k.
@@GregSupe Oh ok lol i knew it looked familiar, been looking for some good wide open spots to run my 917. Any suggestions? I’m tearing my car up on bumpy roads and narrow pavements. Do the warehouses ever give you an issue? I know some of them have security patrolling.
@@Murphys_Law9 You just have to test em out. I've been kicked ou4 of many places before. But sometimes people are cool about it because it's not like we are destroying anything or being a menace 🤷🏾♂️
Great suggestions for new guys!
Glad you think so!
Get the 7 channel radio link gyro receiver $18 bucks
I had to remove the calipers to get the contact forms to work with ak917. I kept the disc rotors on because the hex nut is part of the disc.
Hello ..can you tell me how to change the Front lower suspension arm set ..I can't find any videos anywhere...Thanks!

Dam king a hard fall
Easy bump bro, car took it like a champ.
@@GregSupe ok king
Do you get decent wear on foams for bashing?
Foams are definitely NOT for bashing. They'll wear very quickly and they dont slide very well which is what you want out of bashing.
Also, is it worth it to get a stand alone gyro vs a built in like dumbo? Thanks man! Love the content!

@@GregSupe thanks brother!

Mine is stock, but ordered foams and gyro, what would you do suspension wise. Had torque steer twice =2wrecks
