Those M14A1 hits are always a joy to watch
I need to find more of them!
adept is sitting back sipping a drink laughing at everyone trying to beat them.
100% FACT! 😂
Very true
I own and love their helmet, and can’t wait until it catches on mainstream
Where did you get it?
It might be $600 a plate but that didn't stop me from spending $1,200 in my adapt Colossus plates
Judging by the tiny hole in the clay it seems like that M993 round was super close to being stopped
I recommend using Gordon's reloading tool, that will help you estimate the FPS difference between different ambient temperatures, going from freezing to 85° outside can easily net you that 100fps you saw
Website? or App?
I use it to find the right loads to get the best subsonic performance out of my 300 blackout
It's a app you download to your computer. May want to consider having warm weather loads and loads for lower temperatures, or find a less temperature sensitive powder.
Hey buddy, Marlon here from Michigan. Just wanted to say hi, and your plate drops look spot on! Great job!
Hey, thanks!
Hope movie night was good:)
I seen some m993 for sale for 175 bucks each … is that a silly price ?
last I checked it was $70-100/each. Who has it for $175. That's a little out there.
@@BuffRANGE it was a individual on AR forum.. they are also 992 for 100 each
@@nataliedeyton6829 992? Link ?
👍👏💪❤!!!

Shish tawook
@@BuffRANGE 😱
Wonder if anyone has ever combined a thin steel plate on the back to stop the bask side deformation
You just make these plates to stop everything out there and these plates look like the best I’ve seen.
Ps what do you do with the scrap layers of plate? If I paid for shipping would you mail me the layered part of the vest! ?..? Thanks I wanna do stab tests! I could pay you even for em. I'm sure you toss em out. Thanks bud.
I pitch them in the trash unless the vendor or retailer wants to retain it :D send me an email .
Such an underrated channel
Guard dog ridgeback?
They’ve improved that design a lot and is a solid plate. They have NIJ lab results showing 5 hits of m2ap!
when are you gonna test it? @@BuffRANGE
@@ChromeDomeTurtle they’d have to send me some. I’ll have to contact them again.
is B4C better ceramic than Aluminum oxide?
Depends on the threat. Against steel core armor yes
What the boron carbide does is give you the lightest possible plate for a given stopping power. It also takes a lot more money out of your pocket!
And neither AO or BC deal with Tungsten threats FYI
Are the voodoo valor plates the same the guardian gear plates?
Sure do look like LongFri plates..
@@BuffRANGE I contacted longfri and they said 135 a piece for there plates that sounds so cheap I dunno what plates to get I don’t wanna get some cheap level iv plates but don’t want to spend a grand on some either what you think about the ace link level iv sa plates?
@@TheJoeml85I have a pair of those(don’t think it’s made in the USA). It’s ok. Not bad of a price tag. I also like RMA(made in The USA.) but a bit heavy. If you looking for cheap but worth the price I would say battle steel. But knock on them it’s made in China.
thoughts on the RMA 1155 fiasco?
What's goin on?
FIT OF 1155 from RMA failed back in March with a magic bullet that penetrated a plate without leaving a clear penetration hole. Lots of follow up and investigation resulted in NIJ pulling the 1155 (only the 1155) cert. It is no longer an NIJ Certified plate.
Hey Buffman what is the lightest lvl 3+ armor that you’ve tested? Shopping for a lightweight setup for work and not concerned with stopping 30-06 basically only 5.56 & 7.62 and under. Thanks.
Do you need to stop M855 or M855A1?
@@BuffRANGEhey man I ended up watching a bunch of your videos and kinda concluded on my own that RMA or Militech were the best options. The Tactical Scorpion having the foam border really sucks because of the weight.
With that being said I haven’t how big is the border on the Militech?
Also I apologize for not replying. Gotta love RUclips hiding comments. ;)
@@flextime6349 Militech’s border is very small. Under 1/4” or even less
@@flextime6349I would recommend the prime armor lvl3 plates he tested as well.
