My heart sinks every time I see you go up those steps, walkways, ladders, I just start praying for your safety 🙏🏻
Mama Cornstar's food looks a WHOLE lot better than that stuff Cole is eating.
Ketchup was missing again
amen brother.
Yeah but not as healthy. DC should just stick to my favorite staples" pizza. Heinz ketchup and chocolate milk.😆
It’s refreshing to see someone eat a healthy meal. Protein, carb, & vegetable. 💙
I was holding my breath watching you up so high on unsafe equipment. We are so sorry your family is going through this. Never give up, you will prevail. You have a lot of people praying for your family! ❤
It's not unsafe
It's amazing how clean and tidy Cole's place is now. He put in a ton of work. Very impressive!!!
I will be so glad when you and everyone can use a very safe bin site. I am so sorry that this has happened to y’all .. Maybe real soon the law suit will be over with and the courts will see fit to give all of your money back and y’all can have a safe site built. Y’all be careful and thank you and your family
Please be safe Daddy's Corn Star on that unsafe equipment site. You deserve a nice warm vacation with Mama Corn Star.
Please wear a helmet to protect yourself when on the bin site
@@susanwalgren3939 you nailed
Stupid too be scared and wear helmets
I hope and Pray that the bin site safety issues are resolved and all those responsible for it's construction are held financially responsible Asap.
How the H-E Double Toothpicks did the installers actually feel their work was acceptable? I would be ashamed to claim that as my work. No integrity or personal pride. Unbelievable.
Wow the bins are really insane unsafe, even some of the connections to the walks are poor. Hopefully you can get this resolved soon
They're good enough
Thanks DC for an anxiety inducing episode! Please Please be safe!
right??? hard to watch except if it's posted, i'm reassured he's lived to tell the tell. gahhhhh
So sorry you have to be in such a unsafe situation with the bin site. A drone fly over showing you on the high level might record the worst hazard conditions. I hope you get some help soon in the legal case to make the site safe . Your family is a great example of hard work and dedication to keep the farm going in stressful times.
Can't believe it hasn't blown over yet!! I hope no one gets hurt!!! Glad you are documenting all of the problems on video!! You will have plenty of wittiness!!! Terrible, you have more patience than me!! Keep track of the more time it takes to get through harvest!! Be safe!!
Daddy cornstar be careful up there on those crappy ladders and scaffolding it makes me nervous just seeing it shak like that
Prayers for settling grain bin issues 🙏. My goodness the steps shook with Ellie😢
It's shaking with Elie on it TIME TO WELD THE WHOLE BIN SITE WITH ALL THE METAL YOU HAULED TO THE GARBAGE DUMP YOU COULD HAVE HAD A WHOLE BEAUTIFUL BIN SITE I AM VERY ANGRY AT WHAT THAT BIN BUILDERS DID NOW IT DANGEROUS...
I built those catwalks and saftey rails and cages for a contractor for 8 years. Work like that would have, and should have got me fired!
D.C. I worry when I see the state the bin site walkways are in. It's new. WOW! I feel sad for you all. Praying for a good outcome. God bless you all. Hi M.C.
Sure wish you would wear a safety harness when you go up top !
What would they anchor to,it is all substandard..
@@melodyhart1331that's why I suggested a skyhook or parachute. 😉
It is so discouraging when something you invested so much into is ruined by someone who doesn't care. I pray the people responsible for your bin site truly make things right. In my opinion, they should have to pay someone respectable to fix it all and pay at least half what they charged you back. Between the danger they put you in and the lost productivity should account for reimbursement.
So let's say it takes 4years
You couldn’t pay me enough to climb one of those grain containers (are they still called silos?). I’d have to be roped in like a cell tower climber.
Can you put a bucket on a telehandler/cherry picker and use that as a lift vs climbing shady stairs ?.. if you need to buy one, tack that cost on to the law suit. Life shouldn’t be risked because of the bozos that were incapable of doing the job right in the first place.
Kinda surprised there are no cameras or other sensors in bins, wouldn’t that reduce the need to climb? Maybe try out that home security company that you/cole advertise every now and then…. Maybe they will sponsor it as a new use?
@@dmk1529jury trial is set for late April 2024. Won't take more than a few days. If they win, they still have to collect.
@@dmk1529- That’s very possible, unfortunately. 😮
I’m scared for all of you when you have to climb up on that bin😢
It’s sad to see that it might take someone death before a major company will admit fault, and fix there faults. Be safe out there.
Hubby say clean the moisture out of the air tanks on the trailer hubby says will help the brakes. Transport truck driver ❤
You guys work so hard.... maybe you will get some rest soon as the crops are done... climbing that high is dangerous as tired as you are...be careful
That bin setup looks like a disaster on the half shell!Absolutely ridiculous!!!
Get some soft copper tubing (1/4") and the necessary fittings you can put drop lines in on the high level bearings so that you don't have to climb up and grease them. Also you probably don't need to pump grease in to the motor bearings, unless it has another fitting with a cap that is used to purge the bearings, they are sealed bearings and the grease you pump in goes into the windings of the motor.
DC dont throw the poles down off the bin site. Just fix it. Your going to walk every piece back up there. Just put your own money in the bin site and IF yall win the lawsuit, you will be reimbursed.
Hoping everything gets resolved with this situation. Stay safe Daddy Cornstar and get some rest.
DADDY CORNSTAR PLEASE DON'T GO UP HIGH ANY MORE PLEASE
I’m seriously having a panic attacks watching this
Dear Lord, be careful up there!!!
The bin top footage is simply terrifying.
Think about how much , you have seen change around the farm . It must be a huge change ! 🌽🌽🌽Stop making me so nervous on the top of the bin !
Praying that all this will be behind you guys soon. It’s ridiculous the stress its putting on all of you. 🙏🏻
Stay safe up there
I worry so much. I know they won't show an accident, but I just get so scared!!
There are beautiful things to see on top of the bins, I love to see farmland the most !!
I think Ellie is DC's best friend. 😊
Thank for all your sacrifice DC you need some help brother
Oh DC! I can hardly breathe when you are up on top of the bins! Will be so relieved when it is fixed!!
Thanks for sharing the spirit of it all, DC!
The staircase on top the bin has a crazy wobble. How can the builders think that's Ok? Someone is going to get hurt or worse. They need to rebuild and re-enforce everything that wobbles.
My family and I did a corn maze in London, Ontario Canada they have lots of black tar on their corn as well. Keep the faith Daddy (Grandpa) Corn Star.
I am from Sarnia,ON and my family also did some corn mazes in the London area. From my many years watching Cole's videos I was able to recognize the black tar as well. I hope you and your family don't loose a large monetary amount because of your inability to use the one bin. I hope you will be able to buy a new corn dryer for your farm in the near future.

God bless your family!
Thanks for your tip on putting Reese's peanut butter cups in the freezer. That's all I do with mine now. The only way to go!
I was holding my breath watching you climb around when you all are so tired. But, you are so right about the beautiful view. A friend of mine goes to New York quite a bit and takes pictures from the top of the building, and it's building after building with tens of thousands of people walking around, in the buildings, or the gazillion cabs. I could never imagine living there. I'm so used to fields, watching crops peak out in the spring, grow through the summer, and watching the harvest. I get clostraphobic in an apartment complex. I feel like I'm in a dog kennel at the pound. 😊❤
I honestly wouldn’t trust a single bolt on that bin site! It’s just not worth it, when not if some part fails! I would have to get a team out there to tighten and repair the stairs and rails and document everything they find wrong and have to repair. A life cannot be replaced! I know firsthand how quickly your life can change for the worse because of a fall.
oh goodness, that does NOT look safe!!!! please please be careful...God Bless..
My 1st time watching a Daddy Corn video. You get some rest Young Man. You've earned it. Priceless! 😴 💤 ❤
Come back for more. He's very entertaining.
Yah Daddy corn 🌽 star it is a tiresome accupation your inn sorry to see the trouble you have with your grain Binn but not matter what you guys always seem to find your ways around it sum how or anther you always pull through hope your yields are outstanding thanks for taking uss along with you in fields love those evening sunsets thanks for sharing apart of you with us viewers happy thanks giving Merry Xmas and a very merry happy New year
Be careful out there guys!
Those ladders and rails remind me of the old game, the erector set, where you put the pieces together but they are thin and shaky. I don't know how that company got away with using such thin material!
That sure is a sturdy stair case on that bin . Ellie had that thing shaking . Hope you get it resolved before someone gets hurt.
It’s so u fortunate that there’s so many people who have let you down in the construction of your bin site, iron workers with the cat walks, concrete guys with the pads, contractor for letting it happen and the poor design, not from a general layout point of view but a technical implementation for what works, pray your lawsuit allows you to rectify what should never have been allowed to happen
This too shall pass. Hang in there. Thanks for the video!
so glad you are showing how unsafe these ladders and hand rails are I HOPE THE COMPANY REACHES OUT TO YOU TO RECTIFY THESE PROBLEMS and may any other farmer do the same
There will most definitely be a "reach out" in the situation...it should be a jerk up(side down) with 'bout $2.5 mil. falling out of those overhauls pockets for actual/punitive damages...but who knows what the jury/judge will decide...or even if ( as trial date approaches ) an out of court settlement might be reached?
That gave me the Willies even on camera Wow!!!
Cole has done amazing work on the farm looks amazing!!
I love Elli. Dogs are the best. They always love you no matter what.
The bins are not safe to walk on in the condition that they’re in ! The Contractor should fix it regardless of what’s going on or somebody gets hurt and killed. It’s gonna be a lot more than just fixing the bin. They don’t do that then they are idiots ! And to Cole and Cooper you should keep your dad off the bins ! Until they are fixed properly . Great videos. I wish you all luck with the lawsuit.
I would say put a harness on going up that bin site but that only works if you have something to attach to 😬😬. I am a tree surgeon/arborist and I would feel safer attaching my rope to a dead tree more than that bin site. I hope you get it sorted and you stay safe 🙏🙏.
That is some real fine craftsmansh*t on those bins.
Hang in there DC. Your widdling away at this season of harvest. :D I don't know enough to be able to tell how near or not you are but further today than yesterday. Thanks for sharing.
Take a break and come on back to Fairbanks, Alaska with momma Cornstar!
The fact that it shakes so much is terrifying! I fear for all of your safety! It really worries me!
not a sandwich plate anywhere to stiffen up the mounting areas. sharp edges everywhere. That terrible stair setup. the list that shows JUST ON THE VIDEOS is appalling!!! can't wait till you can do a FULL video of ALL the issues we CANT see and you can't talk about.
Great job daddy and summer
Omgoodness do not go up the bin site in wind! Get some work done asap to make it safer, I am getting Anxiety whenever you have to go up there! 💖
Hi DC. You definitely love that dog. It’s great company. Hope you have a great week.💕💕
Forgot to ask. Should you be tied up there for security /protection reasons since those stairs or anything up there are not solid? Jus asking.
You should get a Harnessed to wear when you going up that high with the way things are to stay safe
OMG... DC, please stay safe on that shaky staircase. I'd be afraid to let the dog on it much less your family. Hope the lawsuit concludes Soon & in your favor!
😬😳😬scary shaky ahh be careful
OMG I love Goliath National Bank too!! Sweet Hat.
Awesome video. I know you have to get on those very unsafe bins, but please be careful. If I could, I would give you a very big hug. Hang in there DC. we all love you
😮😮 I would think they should at least use some kind of lock washer or some kind of bushing in between all the metal so I don't loosen up with the heat and the cold....JJ...😊
My fear of heights... I swear I would faint. Its hard to watch y'all go up the bins with them being so unsafe. I watch through my fingers.
I sure hope no one gets seriously hurt or dies before that bin site is fixed. I believe the whole bin site needs torn down and rebuilt, I don’t see how what is there can be made safe. DC, please be careful.
Hey DC when I was a young man of 16 I baled hay all summer for the local farmers. I had my favorites too. This one lady in particular was just an outstanding cook when it came to noon meals. We really just got started with the first few loads and I always was in the mow. She would usually have pot roast or meatloaf, and I tell you there was lots of it to share. She always commented about me having a hollow leg to fill. I suffered for the next couple of hours bending over that big lump in my belly, but I stuck with it till we were done. The farmers wife most generally is an outstanding cook. Mama Corn star looks like she qualifies.😁
Take care of yourself Daddy Cornstar.
That reminds me that I haven't fixed a meatloaf in years. I need to do that! Be careful on that bin site...looks like a widow-maker to me!
I feel like a socket set, some red Loctite and a few hours would solve much of the loose railing. Wind blows, high structures vibrate and loosen bolts. I realize the lawyer said to let it go and let things fall apart to show poor building quality for the purpose of documentation - but at some point, self-preservation needs to kick in. That said, I wouldn't ever consider letting my dad climb on that rattle trap - but that's just me.
You're a Grandpa Cornstar now
With no snow in the forecast and the corn being 25% moisture, what is the hurry to harvest?
Sadly this time of year even under the best of days corn doesn't field dry very fast.
Good show !
Nice views way up there halfway to the Moon. 👍
I'm sorry that you are having such terrible issues with the new bin. It's blatantly obvious that the builders were/are incompetent.
Driving trucks I never set my trailer brakes unless I was unhooking or getting unloaded in a dock.
Never did either in 40 plus years
I worked surface with a mining company. We had catwalks everywhere and none were shaky they were solid. Yours are scary as hell!
the bins are really unsafe it scares me to watch you going up and down them Daddy cornstar be careful up there my nerves can not take it
It's obvious the bin site is unsafe and I would be mad as hell as well, but no way I'd leave it that way and would make an effort to secure the handrails, assure nothing could fall...hire someone if necessary, skip the waxing and deep cleaning equipment for a while and get at it. If any one was hurt, even though shoddy workmanship when built, knowingly continue to use, filming it along the way, kinda switches the liability to your farm, but just my opinion, I wouldn't risk my farm in such a way.
DC. Should you actually be up on top of those corn bin structures. Here in the UK. The HSE.( Health and Safety Executive) would probably close you down.
they need to have a camera on the end of the auger. So you can see how full the semi is from the tractor cab.
D.C., before you go back up on those shaky bin site ladders and walkways, maybe you should find a parachute or at the very least a skyhook. We don't want to see you fall.
Falling isn't really the bad part, it's the quick stop at the end that's the problem. 😬
We get that it's shakey.. you not being careful and adding to it is weakening the metal and will cause worse problems. Unfortunately the reality is the outfit that was subcontracted to do your work will likely go bankrupt and leave you to fix it yourself anyway.. I highly recommend you begin preserving and repairing it now before more , and more expensive damage happens
I love see Ellie, I have 3 Australian shepherds.
Dam even Ellie shook the latter on the bins, hopefully no one gets hurt on that set up
Times are hard pops.I think the bin company saw a half price deal on Amazon outta China on your railing lol.
Daddy Cornstar, I was reading up on this company and they take forever to settle lawsuits. You need to fix those stairs and walkways for you, momma cornstar, your children, grandchildren. You are not replaceable. Please find a temporary fix for at least the stairs and walkways. Please, please 🙏🙏🙏.
OMG. Scary stuff up on top.
😊 Enjoyed the show with DC
Hi Daddy cornstar I reckon if you built that grain set up out of meccano it would have been stronger
DC, I keep praying for everybody's safety around the bin site. And that your lawsuit will end soon, and you guys will win. Also that the company will fix everything that is wrong!
The trial STARTS ...in April 2024, unless there is an out of court settlement....just sayin'.....
I would let that original builder touch it
Wouldn’t
I know you all have a farm to run, but it makes me so nervous watching you guys on, in and around these bins. Please be careful. ❤
Your bin site scares the hell out of me. I hope you can get things repaired properly before someone is hurt or killed.
No Offence but that bin site is a accident waiting to happen, great video as always
Hey Daddy Corn Star, I don't think it is wise to shake those railings like that while you are on those stairs. Don't want Daddy Corn Star to take the royal dive off the bin, and fall to your death when you hit the ground. All the more reason to go after the Bin Builder Bastards !!!
Thanks for sharing god bless
DC I’m a nervous wreck when you’re up that bin site and I’m a live theater tech! I know you’re careful. I know the frustration, I had a leaky addition that’s falling apart built nearly 20 years ago, done to my house and the builder went out of business 2 years later to avoid paying to rebuild it. Some people have no pride in their work or their name!
